Chapter 3

I like the name Chaturvedi too (means one who has learned the four vedas)

There is something about fathers and their lover for their daughters, it was well written. I am sure everyone has favourites and I keep complaining to my mom and dad I am not theirs. One feels differently about nepotism but I am of the opinion there must be something a parent sees outside the fact the child is their own and is worth handing over an enterprise, they worked so hard to build. Men complain a lot but love the cloying affection they get from their women folk.

Chapter 4

Khushi's opinion of Arnav is going to be coloured due to the slap gate' as you put and rightly so and I appreciate the fact she is giving the individual i.e. ASR another chance by observing him during the conference. He did do a fair job handling the press well; it is never easy to field questions that are shot at you from reporters who may have already proved you guilty. Did I mention I love the way you have penned the relationship Khushi shares with her father? It is wonderful to read about them

Chapter 5

Children play such an important role in a couple's life and I agree Khushi is as much child SK-Priya's child as KK-Garmia's. In India, the one who raises you as a child is far more important than the parents who give birth (A Yashodha-Krishna fact, I believe in). The building of the brand and empire is so well written, this is a success story that can be associated with many business families in India. The growth, the attempts at creating discord amongst brothers and differences in working style is so believable.

KK seems to have had is better professionally and personally, it shows SK is a confident and content person does not grudge his brother his happiness.

PS - I see a heavy influence of the Ambani family here, not that I mind

Chapter 6

Ok I have to say this; it is such a welcome relief to read about a Khushi whose first boyfriend/lover is not Arnav. I am sure I may piss a few off by saying this but this is so normal and I almost have to slap you back for being this realistic in your portrayal of Khushi, she is bound to go through her share of relationships/boyfriends till she finds the person she wants to settle down with.

I kind of understand Khushi; she is still working on her career at the moment and may not feel marriage to be the ultimate goal in her life. It is important but not at the moment and though I understand KK's concerns, he needs to trust his daughter's judgment and give her space.

What is this thing you tell us and yet you don't about Payal and Rudra (I like the name BTW)?

I want to know and fast.

Chapter 7

I like the way Khushi has diagrammed her career, it makes sense as every experience is going to help you in the long run, and knowledge has that impact on one's thinking and functioning.

Why do I get the feeling, Arnav is not being fair or honest about hiring Khushi? The six month clause sounds valid that is your regular probation period. Yet we get the feeling it is going to be a sharp sword hanging above Khushi's neck. She may be glad she landed the job on her own merit but she should paid heed to her father's words. He has seen the world and would only wish her well, no harm in hearing him out.

Chapter 8

Oh f**k and oh freak!!!! Pardon my language but Shantanu is Shaan and I am surprised how small the world it, fiction or not it is. The universe conspires to bring people together if they are destined to meet. Things are getting very interesting, not that it was not so before.

Another fact about this story is the way you have sketched each character, well defined, relatable and flawed yet human. Arnav is mourning a loss and I want to know more about that. His family understands yet suffocates him with constant pressure to marry. Marriage at times means socially acceptable sex not love, the more people understand and accept that we would have fewer divorces. Even marriages which started with love lead to divorce so no set rules for anything to work, forcing someone will not work that is a given.

Chapter 9

I still remember my first at work and it was like I was pushed into a whirlwind of formalities and everything else, seems like eons ago but enough about me. Khushi has had a "Kalyaani" (auspicious that is what my name means and I am grinning like an idiot here) start to her stint at RE and me is both happy and nervous for her.

I find Arnav's interest in Khushi surprising is it because he connects with her name or is it because he is curious about her, not that he knows a bit about her and is working for him.

I like Khushi's team and will reserve my opinion on SMJ for the moment.

Chapter 10

Khushi is curious to know everything about RE & ASR and is not afraid to ask, me likes that. So Khushi is Khushi for Arnav but Humera is Ms. Naaz, but we know he was going to be addressing her that way, didn't we.

I like how succinctly Humera told us about SMJ, now we have to know more that is going to be engaging. Khushi has a good enough colleague to hang out with that is very useful. I want to know more.

Chapter 11
I had to put this here, so don't laugh...actually go ahead and laugh

Edit

Bua is a buddy for Khushi and since Payal is married that is nice for Khushi, some female company is always required at home. I tend to agree with Khushi and understand her point too. You can love everything about a person and not be in love with that person.

So Shaan is Arnav's cousin, matter confirmed now. The guy is good no doubt but is love enough? O am not sure just the way Khushi is unsure about the whole marriage rush.

Chapter 12

Arnav is on to something and that has led to an argument with Mr. Gill, I totally agree with both their views. Gill on one hand senses something is amiss and warns Arnav, while Arnav seeks answers and is using the six months period to get to the bottom of things. The moral code is not violated yet, but the chances are there. I hope Arnav knows what he is doing; I say this not because Khushi is involved but because he has an enterprise which depends heavily on him not messing with its reputation.

I would so like to see the sketches Arnav has made and now that her neck interests him so much, all the more. I want to know what interest Arnav so much about Khushi, like he said he is surrounded by women and good looking ones too, so what draws him to Khushi?

Khushi's happiness is short lived, what with Ms Naaz, reading things that are clearly starting.
