Chapter 19

Recap: Raj lifted his brow, "Why the hell would I give you permission to date my little sister."

Rey was losing his patience, he couldn't do this anymore, "I love her more than anyone and I am the only man who will ever be able to keep her happy."

Gaurav was contemplating what Rey was saying; before he could say anything he was cut off.

Raj wasn't one to back down; he would always put his sister first. He would always do what was right for her whether she agreed or not. "I don't care, stay away from her. From this day on you better stay a 100 yards away from her."

All of Taani's brothers were wide eyed, they never thought Raj would ever make this kind of decision, they knew he would always do whatever it took to make her happy, so why did he make this kind of call.

Rey was shocked; he never thought this could happen. He had no other choice for her sake he had to listen to what Raj was saying. Taani would never go against her brothers. And he had to respect her wishes.

"As you wish, I'll leave in an hour."

The judgement was made, there was no going back.

Gaurav and his younger brothers tried to reason with Raj, they didn't care if Rey could hear them or not, this was going too far.

Vishal even pleaded Rey, "Rey you said you loved her, what the hell are you doing?"

"I'm doing what she wants." He sighed, "I have to pack."

Rey left the room and everyone was glaring at Raj. Raj sensing his younger brothers anger and confusion signaled them to follow him into a room.

Rey knew this was going to hurt but he had no choice. He had to pretend everything was ok.

He climbed the stairs and went to see Taani in her room. He entered the room and smiled at everyone. Before anyone could ask him anything, he signaled that he wanted to talk to Taani alone.

Taani didn't know what to do, she was confused Rey did not betray his faade, she wasn't sure if he had good news or bad news.

Before she could ask him anything, Rey hugged her with all he had.

"Rey, is everything ok?" He was making her worry.

Instead of answering he kissed her.

She literally swooned, at the touch of his lips her knees gave out. As embarrassing as it was, Rey was the only thing holding her up; her arms were useless on his shoulders.

Rey couldn't do anything, but try and memorize the feel of her lips on his. He crushed his lips harder to hers, he never wanted to let go of his sweet ambrosia. He moved his lips with all the passion in his bones. He heard Taani moan and smiled in their kiss. He still had that effect on her; he could turn her to mush. He grabbed her face and begged her to let his tongue enter mouth, she was teasing him. He growled, but she still didn't let go of her dominance. Tired of her resistance, he ghosted one his hands down her torso to slip under her shirt and place his hand at the curve of her hip. She gasped at the feeling of his hand on her skin. Taking advantage of her surprise, he slipped his tongue in her mouth and began kissing her with reckless abandon. Taani couldn't breathe, she stopped so she could take a breath and tried to back away from Rey, but Rey was having none of that and dove back in, taking her by surprise once again. Taani was on cloud nine, she could do this forever. It felt like heaven being in his arms. Rey on the other hand was savouring whatever he had left to take from her, after today he would have no right to claim her as his. At this thought he kissed her harder, he didn't want no he couldn't see her in someone else arms. He had to leave the country, every ounce of this land would remind him of her, he couldn't do it. He couldn't live in this country where she would take a step on the same land away from him not towards him. He kissed her harder; he couldn't think straight his heart was hurting. He needed to leave now before he did something stupid. He gave himself five more minutes and quickly let go of her and left the room before she could do anything.

He opened the door and saw Raj there. He briskly walked to his room and went to walk. Watching Rey walk so stiffly, she understood what happened. Her eyes widened and she made her way to the door so she could dash towards to him, but Raj stopped her. She felt disorientated; she look back and forth from her face and the path Rey took, her face was full of pain. The gang watched catching on to what was going on and they didn't know what to do.

They heard a door close and saw Rey going down the stairs with his luggage, Taani tried to fight Raj but he was too strong. She watched to love of her life walk out the door, she couldn't breathe. Everything felt too weird. She couldn't see straight, she felt dizzy, she felt faint. Raj felt Taani go limp in his arms. He was so worried, in the midst of all the confusion and drama; everyone saw Taani faint and rushed to get to her. Raj carried her to her bed and placed her there and called the doctor.

Gaurav assessing the situation decided to send the gang back home, "You all should go pack, I will call a car to pick you up and drop you home, we will call you when she wakes up. Swayam you stay and helped them pack then come with me ok."

They all couldn't argue and did what they were told.

After the gang had left to go home, the doctor arrived and assessed Taani. Once he was gone Swayam began asking questions.

"What's wrong, what's going on, why did Raj say no?"

Taking advantage of the silence Raj let him in on the plan.

"Taani and Rey are engaged to be married, it was agreed upon when she was 10 years old, he already has permission to date her, and he didn't need to ask me." Raj said.

"WHAT?????????"

"They belong to each other, I'm only teasing him. He has to propose to her. But I want him to go against my wishes." Raj said.

Sorry for the short chaptter hope you understand. I promise to deliver as soon as school is done. I gave up on D3 so I really don't know what's going on. Altough my story is a different Univers I hoe there aren't many inconsistencies.
