Chapter 2

Next morning, Taani wakes up in a good mood

Taani- Good morning mama, papa. Can you believe it, I am going to mumbai

She starts singing lazy lamhe to bring some fun to her morning.

Her singing envelopes the house in a happy and fun atmosphere. The members of the house feel elated hearing her singing so early in the morning.

Gaurav- Taani BREAKFAST, NO TIME FOR LAZY LAMHE, YOU HAVE SCHOOL

Taani - (pouting) YES BHAI

Taani finishes getting dressed and joins her family for breakfast.

Taani notices that Swayam is not at the table.

Taani- Where is Swayam
Raj- He left for Mumbai last night
Taani- (pouting) I thought we were going to go together
Arjun- Taani we have to get your paperwork in order first and Swayam has college, you can't make him miss that right
Taani- Yes bhai
Vishal- Taani hurry and finish your food I will drop you to school
Taani- Give me 5minutes
Vishale- Make that three

Taani and Vishal leave the house.

While she is gone Raj, Arjun and Gaurav finish all the arrangements.

Taani comes back from school.

She freshens up then spends time with her family.

In the living room.

Jay- Taani, you will leave for Mumbai on Saturday night and you will arrive Sunday morning
Karan- Your train ticket is booked and confirmed
Taani- Four days till I leave, I should finish packing soon
Bua- Yes, you don't want to do it last minute

The family has diner then Taani goes to her room to pack, after some packing she falls asleep.

Saturday Morning

Raj- TAAANI

Taani comes running down the stairs.

Taani- Yes bhai
Raj- Did you finish packing
Taani- Yes
Raj- Your train is tonight, when you arrive take the rickshaw and go straight to your Swayam bhais house. You don't have to worry about the transfer, Swayam took care of everything
Taani- ok, I am going to go rest
Raj- Wait
Taani- Yes
Raj- Swayam does not know you are coming on sunday, he is out of Mumbai and he'll be back on Monday. Don't worry everything is arranged. Swayam and Kaka prepared the room for you and kaka will open the door for you, he will also give you a key.
Taani- ok, I am going to go rest
Raj- Taani, I am not done
Taani-(at this point she is very bored with her bhais constant reminders) Sorry bhai
Raj- All of your brothers and I have a gift for you
Taani- GIFT
Raj- Close your eyes

Taani closes her eyes and Raj places a small box in her hands. Taani opens her eyes and excitedly opens the box.

Taani- (she squeals) Bhai a CELLPHONE
Raj- Haan, all of our numbers are saved in there and we all have your number including Swayam
Taani- ( slightly teary) thank you bhai
Raj- ( smiles at his sisters cuteness) now you can go rest, I'll call you when it's time to go
Taani- thank you bhai

Taani leaves to go rest.

It's finally time for Taani to leave.

Raj- TAANI HURRY UP
Taani- JI BHAI

In her room

Taani- Mama, Papa, I am starting a new chapter in my life please give me your blessings, thank you

Taani says her goodbyes at the house and she leaves for the station with her brothers.

At the station.

Raj- Take care of yourself
Karan- If anything call, we will always answer
Gaurav- Make sure to contact us often
Arjun- Don't neglect your studies
Jay- Our baby is leaving, you have to promise to talk to us often, Swayam will take good care of you
Vishal- Enjoy Mumbai, love, laugn, sing and dance. Enjoy yourself and take care
All of her brothers glare at Vishal

Taani laughs

Taani- I promise, its time to go, bye
All of them- Take care

On the train. Taani sits in her compartment and thinks about her new life.

Sunday

She arrives in The morning. After talking her luggage and hailing a rickshaw she finally arrives at her Swayam bhais house.

She rings the bell and Kaka opens the door.

Kaka- Taani, its been a while since you were last here. Welcome
Taani- Its nice to see you kaka
Kaka- I will show you your room
Taani-Thank you

Taani settles in her room and relaxes.
She starts to prepare herself for the next.
She finally goes to sleep.
