Kriya stood there speechless. The part when he said he didn't care hurt her the most. How can he say he doesn't care if I die? Just how can he? How can this be? He loves' loved me'? Mom was right'? She was interrupted by Rey.
"Vishakha?"
She thought it was better for her to leave from there. What was the point of showing herself to him when he didn't care anymore? It least bothered him whether she lived on died. To escape and cry her heart out, Kriya dialed Rey's number, which was on speed dial, from her new phone she had gotten after going to Dehradhun. Her number had changed and it was a private number.
Rey picked up the call and turned a bit. In that moment, Kriya took off running. Rey turned at the voice and saw a retreating figure running away. "Vishakha!!" he called out but he didn't stop. Even then, he didn't know it was Kriya all along! He ended the call when silence continued and no one replied back to him.
Rey soon left wondering what Vishakha had to say and why she left the way she did. Then he soon dismissed thoughts thinking it must not have been important since she left. And at the same time, it worried him that she left without saying anything to him. Should he be worried? Could Vishakha be in trouble? All sorts of thoughts troubled him as he couldn't think straight.

"Sharon!" Swayam called out to her. She stopped, waited for him to catch up, and both continued walking together. "I almost don't know you anymore."
"Oh you know me alright. You knew when I had winked." Sharon replied with a cheerful voice.
He nodded.
"Now you know me too. I did know. I just didn't know you'll change so much in just a little time."
She smiled at him.
"When you're determined, anything's possible. So captain, when do rehearsals start?"
"What?"
"Rehearsals. We have to get started you know?"
"Oh yea' I haven't decided yet."
"Let me know when you do?" She asked as he stopped. He nodded and she was walking away. He called out again.
"Sharon?"
"Yea?" She turned back to face him.
"What you did was great today."
She took a step towards him. "Thank you. For making me do this and for giving me time and for making me re-believe that what I did was the right thing."
"Why wouldn't it be?"
"I dunno' did it seem like I was showing off?" she asked him genuinely.
"No. You did what anyone would do. You showed you aren't getting special treatment. And if anyone thinks you were showing off, let them think that. They clearly don't know the difference between talent and showing off."
She nodded being glad to have him there to give her this response.
They were interrupted by Taani who came running towards them, out of breath as she stopped in front of them.
"Taani?" Sharon said. Swayam continued, "Is everything alright?"
She half nodded. "I'm fine." Then she shook her head doing fast hand movements. "Reyansh'"
"Rey? What happened to him?"
"Where is he? Is he fine? Did something happen?"
Both of them were freaking out. Taani stared at them. Both of them together yelled at her. "Speak up!"
"Chill! I would speak up if you let me!" She said, getting her breathing to normal now. "He's fine! Too fine! And that is what scares me!"
"What'd he do?" Swayam asked her, knowing that he had been staying angry since a couple of days but hiding it and when he gets mad, he takes it out on someone aggressively.
Taani shook her head. "It's not what he did. It's what he said!"
"Okay, start from the beginning." Sharon suggested.
"You know how none of you would talk about Kriya?" They both nodded. "So I got curious, searched her up in school database, watched the videos, dances, news about her, all of you, etc. etc. I found Reyansh just minutes before and I was telling him about how I found out about her when he snapped at me and said he didn't want to know anything about Kriya. And that he didn't want to talk about Kriya at all and that he didn't care if she lived or died."
Sharon and Swayam stared at Taani, shocked. "He couldn't have." Swayam said and Sharon agreed.
"We all know that. He pretends to be happy in front of us but we've seen him silently looking at her things and feeling her."
"I don't know. Okay? He said that. And'"
"And?"
Taani stayed mum, deciding whether she had the right to tell them that Kriya was back or not. If she wanted them to know, she would have told them already, right? One side of her said while the other argued. But what if she was going to after she told Rey? You shouldn't tell. It's really none of your business. It is Kriya's right to tell them.
Taani sighed. Sharon demanded, "What are you leaving out?"
"Tell us." Swayam said with further authority.
"And I might have just seen Kriya."
"WHAT?!" Both of them said too loud for others to stop and stare. She pulled them aside acting on instinct.
"SHH! I think while Rey said all that to me, Kriya heard it. She' she was crying. I just left. I dunno if they've met or not. Honestly, it could be anyone. I don't know Kriya, right? But I think it was her. It looked like her."
"Okay stop! We get it." Sharon said sternly. She then turned to Swayam. "What do we do?"
Swayam thought for a second and then knew. "There's only one person whom I know will tell us where Kriya is."
And by the look on Sharon's face, it was evident she was thinking the same after what Swayam said. In unison, they said. "Vishakha." Both of them nodded.
"I'll look for her in the locker room."
"And I'll check the rehearsal room. Meet back here?"
She nodded. "And me?" Taani asked. Both of them stopped, looked at each other, and back at Taani.
Swayam suggested, "Wait and keep and eye out for Rey? Let me know if you see him. You have my number." Taani nodded, happy to be of any help, and Swayam and Sharon left opposite ways to go search for Vishakha.

"Kriya?" Naina called out when she saw her barging in the house and running straight in her room. She was out sitting in front of the TV and watching. Before she could turn, Kriya had already locked herself in the room.
"Kriya?" Naina said again knocking on the door. Getting more worried, she knocked harder when no response came. "Everything alright?" She tried to put her ear to the door and try to hear any noise she could. Moments later, she had a low whimper.
"Kriya, open the door!!" She said getting impatient and more worried and scared.

Sharon checked everyone in the locker room and Swayam checked in the rehearsal room and everywhere around it seeing if she was in the corridors anywhere. But neither of them could find her anywhere.
They met back where they had started from. The desperate look on both of their faces told them the neither of the other had found her.
"Now?" Sharon asked.
"I tried calling her too. It was busy."
Sharon sighed. They turned to look at Taani.
"I didn't see Rey either." She informed them.
All three of them sat down on the nearest bench to take in a deep breath and relax. While sitting down, Sharon's arm brushed past Swayam and she instantly shivered at the touch. Swayam was quick to notice but didn't look at her intentionally as he knew that if he showed any sign of acknowledgment, she'd get more conscious.
Taani broke the silence noticing the awkwardness of the moment. "So how do we find out if Kriya is back or not?"
"Rey can tell us. We can wait for him to tell us." Sharon suggested a second after complete silence.
Swayam shook his head. "I doubt he will. If he said something like that about Kriya, then I don't think he'll share. Even to me."
"Then?"
"We wait." Both of them said together.
"We wait?!" Taani asked freaking out.
"Yes. We wait." Sharon repeated calmly. Taani slowly nodded, not getting why she had gotten so hyper and had freaked out.
All three of them stood up and got ready to walk up the stairs when they, mostly Sharon and Swayam, froze seeing the scene in front of them. More than a 'scene', a 'who' would rather be a better word choice?
