The support of the family khushi is getting is awesome. Arnav who is next to her in the labor room supporting her along with his fears of seeing his beloved wife in pain and smiling even in pain is most touching moment.

Wonderful smitha... Eagerly waiting for ur next update. I am ready to welcome the new chotte's chotte raizaada...

those parathas and kheer looked scrumptious, as did arnav 😉! YUMMY!

so they've managed to teach aarti to cook, too... loved the heart-warming humor when everyone fusses over khushi and she serenely goes about her work... the roaring lion met by a calm and collected lioness was equally rib-tickling! of course no one can come close to mamiji in the laughter stakes... her convo with naniji just raised the bar! it was touching to see arnav worried that khushi was overtiring her legs and her calm assurance... real fun watching the ladies act sensibly and like a well-oiled machine, when khushi's water broke, while the men tried valiantly to calm their fluttering nerves... "Khushi, Khushi, don't be scared...", his husky voice was a whisper. He seemed to be talking more to himself than to her. such a moving image of vulnerability and khushi being khushi is quick to assure him that she has no need to feel scared when he's with her... they are always there for each other!

arnav is always the pillar of strength for others, and wants to be strong for khushi but his worry for her and the fact that he's no longer in control of events makes his hand tremble... this moment of weakness makes him human and was deeply touching... Arnav held a shaking hand out to Akash, silently asking him for the keys. Akash held out the car keys, his fingers trembling. Aarti snatched the key from him before Arnav could take them. "Let me drive.", Aarti said. Arnav & Akash looked at her, relieved. aarti always understands what arnav needs... that was such a moving gesture of reassurance!

the scene of arnav and khushi supporting each other through khushi's labour was beautifully etched... simple words that depicted so much! akash and nk having second thoughts about having kids may not last long... the moment they baby is born and they get back to their beautiful wives, all such thoughts would fly out the window! anyway, gopi kaka's words hold a universal truth that they can't escape

a very realistically drawn picture of the mood and the emotions when a baby is about to be born! kudos, Smita! thank you for writing so beautifully about everyday matters, without having to resort to melodrama
