A much needed and uncomfortable discussion: Khushi is beautiful and warm and loving, but she is also very intelligent - she cannot just accept decisions made on her behalf even if they are the right ones. Glad finally Arnav understands...

You know what this is by far the best chapter of R&S. I loved Kushi's outburst and the development of the story to that point. Arnav worships the earth she walks in, he adores her, loves and cant do without her. But most times men think its okay to make decisions for the women they love dearly. If you truly love someone, respect their ability to think for themselves and make decisions for themselves. It goes without saying not all of their decisions will be on the ball. But its for them to err and learn.

Bu protecting them and making decisions for them you are taking away a big part and experience of their life.

Im glad Arnav finally realize his folly and that's what i love most about this Arnav. he's by no means a perfect character, he is flawed in many ways. But more often than not he has shown a willingness to change for Kushi and for their marriage.

Finally khushi spoke for herself. Perhaps it's a norm that the man get to decide the life of a woman but I admire the man who gives his other half that oppurtunity. Not many I suppose nevertheless Arnav wanting to change was very refreshing. I like the fact that he rationalise what she said. He may be bad at expressing himself and selfish at times but he has always gave way to her wanting. Hope they'll reconcile soon. Great update!
