kriya was walking towards the locker room, rey's words continuously playing in her mind.
she could feel her eyes tear up..but tried her best so as not to shed them.He thought she felt for swayam! Inspite of everything they had shared back then?!
how could he think so low of her! agreed.. she herself had called this upon her... bend on sacrificing everything for her friends.. and praising swayam infront of rey!
she had intended to use reys insecurity over her's and swayam's friendship as their breakup key!
but never in her mind had she thought that rey would come to such bizarre conclusions! Back then..she did what she felt was right.. but dint Rey think of her..of ghem..even once?
had he thought all their previous close encounters were just an act for her? had he blindly brought her lie?
Yes..she wanted him to move on then... but never in her dreams had she thought him to link her up with swayam!
who was she kidding... a part of her trusted him so much so that..she thought he would come after her...
she somewhere hoped...that was not the end! she felt he knew her in and out..he might never believe her lies...
but what happened afterwards bought her back from her illusion.
not believing her lies was far away... here he was even linking up her and swayam! he thought she felt for swayam?!!
who she had always considered as a brother figure! Blinking her eyes a couple of times..she composed herself before she enterd the locker room.

Since it was their first day, it was decided that they would all be given a chance to exhibit their own dance forms. So the priinciple asked all of them to reach the auditorium soon.
All of them, except kriya met at the atrium of the college.
'so plan kya hai guys..??' asked a pepped up swayam
'yaar first day hai... fun time toh banta ha.. aur lets just go for what we're good at..!' said vicky.
Rey seemed lost somewhere all this while...
'are you ok?' taani asked..her insecurity coming back yet again. Rey just nodded...his mind still revolving around kriyas words...
what had she meant..? he kept thinking but could not form any valuable answer to his question.
'by the way..where's kri..i mean your newbie friend..' asked sharon.
she was still confused...whether to hate kriya for leaving rey abruptly.. or be thankful to her for whatever she had done to unite the dazzlers and weaklings!
Sharon dint know yet that kriya and rey had broken up before she left..infact none did.
They all thought that kriya had left suddenly which left rey broken.. And neither of them had revealed the truth to them..
that he and kriya had never started dating officially. In short, other than a few things here and there..
no one knew the actual story of Kriyaansh and their breakup. (just like it is in actual d3)
'rey..chale?' taani nudged rey... this bought rey back from his reverie and all made their way towards the auditorium.
Swayam was constantly looking here and there to find kriya..but could'nt spot her anywhere. Atlast all entered the audi where many other students were waiting for them too.
soon 5 of their dance instructors entered and asked them all to go and give a short performance one by one..so that they could train those who needed more practise.
each of them went on stage as their names were called out.. finally even the gang members had to go up and yes indeed each of their performance was phenomenol.
Taani had a few flaws in some steps but even then managed to pull it off.. At the end it was kriya's turn.
after a first few calls, she finally appeared on stage...and nonetheless gave a heartwrecking performance which earned her a loud round of applause.
all could just look at her in awe at the end of her performance.
At the end of it all, the instuctors were to call a male and female dancer who were the best on stage that day...an needless to say, it was kriya and... reyaansh who were called!

Rey looked up shock when he heard the announcement.. he looked at kriya to see the same look of horror written on her face. And then his eyes fell on taani who looked crushed.
Without thinking twice he walked upto one of the instructors and said something to him...
'sorry for the interuption guys... but here we have a request...and I think the suggestion is great' the instructor spoke to gain everyones attention,
'rather than making the best perform...why dont we give them a chance to dance with someone they want to perform with... that would be an even better challenge!' the instructor completed and the crowd hooted in response.
Kriya sighed in relief...though somewhere it hurt her a lot..which she outright refused to acknowledge.She looked down... there was'nt anyone she wanted to dance with then.
and the instructor had just announcec both to dance at once on the same stage...but with their respective partners.
She was just about to backout from giving the performance..when she felt a hand clasp hers. she looked up to find a smiling swayam looking down upon her.
'ek baar jo galti ki hai.. woh phirse nahi dauraunga.. iss baar i will always be there for my bestie' swayam spoke..looking at her meaningfully..and apologetically.
Right then kriya knew how much he meant what he said... she had then iself decided to give him a second chance... no matter what he did..he was there for her now.
and that was all that mattered then.
The dance instructor soon called both the pairs onstage and music began playing..
Teri khata hai... Mere jiya..

unka bharosa kyun.. tune kiya...
The song 'piya aye na' from aashiqui2 started playing. It was a heart touching song..and soon both the pairs started dancing with kriya and rey leading the other two.
Soon the song picked up and in one beat both had to change partners.. It was then that rey noticed who was dancing with kriya..
his first reaction was a sudden pang...which soon turned to anger..and then confusion at his mixed state and his confrontation with kriya in the fire exit!
but before he could ponder much on his feelings, his world yet again came to a stop for him as kriya was in his arms now.She too looked up adn the world came to a stop for both of them.
their movements were in synch without having to even try..even after these years.both their eyes spoke volumes...which they themselves could'nt decipher..
Soon their trance was again broken as they had to switch partners again. As soon as the came into their senses, both were left confused at their felings for the other.
Kriya was so much sure that she was over Rey..but just his mere touch, and then the dance with him... it again left her breathing hard. This was'nt right Kriya thought.
and she looked to see taani with rey...to see rey looking right back at her. He looked confused too...was he mirroring her feelings?!
Rey was stunned at what just happened.. what was up with him..and what the hell ws he thinking feeling all those that too for kriya! the girl who had backstabbed him?!
he almost cursed himself for feeling anything at all for her.. And taani!! was'nt she the girl who was there for him when he was broken...
how could he even think of kriya when she was in his life...he reminded himself again and again that he loves taani...and suprisingly it accepted the fact!
he sighed content..maybe it was just the proximity after such a long time for feeling that way with kriya...he glanced towards her and something inside him flinched,
just like it used to before..seeing her so close to swayam. but he chose to convincingly ignore all of it.
and just to prove his point...as their performance came to an end..he pressed his lips with taani's..making her pleasantly suprised and happy.
yes, it did hurt kriya a bit..afterall she had ONCE loved this guy...but she reminded herself yet again..that all that was ONCE and not anymore.
just when she was busy sorting out her feelings, she felt something soft touch her cheek. She looked wide eyed at swayam who just grinned..
she looked at sharon who seemed not at all affected by what swayam did.. 'Best friend hoon.. aur maine cheek pe kiss kiya hai..kahi aur nahi' swayam said..and all that kriya could do was look at him wide eyed with her mouth open.
Kriya was suprised at how bold swayam had become from his shy majnu avatar before.. but she was happy with this change. And without thinking twice she hugged him with all her might!
'Im glad to get my bestie back...' kriya screamed with joy...and the rest of the gang smiled happily.
On the other hand.. REy who had been kissing taani had abruptly stopped midway when he saw swayam kissing kriya on her cheek.
and the hug after that...was not well digested by him.He could feel all those past feelings and pangs of jealousy returning...but before it could go out of the way..
he put his tangled feelings to a halt reasoning that it was just his concern for his bestie sharon that made him think that way.
They all finally returned to the gang..all looked up at kriya hopefully thinking that she might forgive them too..
and suprisingly, other than REY..kriya started behaving a little better to all.. Sharon was happy that swayam got back his bestie.
And also happy that slowly kriya was getting back to being normal with all..but even then she noticed how smoothly rey and kriya were ignoring each other..
This made her more curious to find why had kriya left them? why did she leave rey? and why was she behaving so different after her return?
As much as sharon wanted all these answers...she also knew she had give kriya some time and pace before getting all her answers.

The day finally came to an end..and after short byes all headed towards their home. Swayam was the only one who had kriyas number..
whereas the others decided to give her some pace so that she opens up herself more.
rey as usual went on to drop taani...today was indeed a very hectic and shocking one for rey and very often he found himself deviating away from what taani was talking.
'rey..gaadi roko..'taani said...and on getting no response, she nudged him again..
'rey maine kaha gaadi roko...'rey stopped the car suddenly.
'tum kuch keh rahi thi taani?' rey asked..obvious from what she had been talking.
'rey aapki issi behaviour se i cant help but feel insecure over and over again..aap karte kuch hai aur feel karte kuch aur!' taani let out her frustration.
he knew she was right..and having nomore strenght to reason again.. he asked ' toh tum hi batao ki main kya karoon taani!'
'stop ignoring her..usse door bhagne bandh karo... friend bana lo usse apna.. either start afresh or confront her for god's sake!' taani let out.
rey thought for a while and pondered upon what she told..
'when you both act so weird around each other..and in each other's presence..tab badhti hai meri insecurity! i just want you to get over it for once and for all...' taani finished.
At the end of her talk...rey gave her a tight hug so as to comfort her and make her feel better.
'I think you are right taani... it's uptime I get over it all for once and for all.. it's uptime to confront my past.. Kriya!' rey spoke determined to have a talk with kriya..and that too.. soon!

i know iss baar bohut late hoon...but was reaaallly busy till somedays back..aur uske baad mera lappy down ho gaya tha.
but now its finally back...and so here's the update...
this story needs a little slow progres in the beginning..so please bear with me..đł
