Chapter 2
Taani could no longer witness what has been happening that too right before her eyes...!
She had heard a lot about kriya and rey's past.. And what just happened, rey completely lost in kria.. So much so that he even forgot her existence for a while pricked her hard!
She stood rooted to her place, and when she could no more bear it... She dashed away from them!
Kria and rey separated as soon as they realized what they were upto..
Their former college days were again bought back into their minds after what just happened..
That was the first time kria had been so close to rey, when he saved her from tripping due to a basketball in the past too!
As the memories of past were again reminisced, they abruptly turned paths and walked away from each other...
The gang who witnessed the entire thing stood confused..
Swayam had only been focussing on kria, and her expressions when she was looking at rey clearly proved that whatever she'd told rey the night she brokeup was utter false...
Swayam was sure from the start when rey had told him about how and why kriya had broke up, that she could never do that.. And there must be something else to it.. He had even tried explaining it to rey!
But rey's stubborness and his belief in kria's words, that she'd just used him was too strong.. And that was what stopped swayam from going any further in search of her!
But now.. He cursed himself for not following what his heart said and not searching for kria right when she'd left.
And yes, he admitted that he had almost completely forgotten about her as time passed.. Though she always remained an integral part within him always as she had a major role in uniting him with dance as well as sharon. And her sudden appearance today reminded him of many things.. As well as that he once had a so called bestie called 'kria ghai' !
He felt highly ashamed to even face her.. Knowing what she must have expected from him but he could'nt even stand up to it.. She must be highly disappointed by him as well as... Rey ofcourse! They were the closest to her, yet.. Did'nt even bother finding anything about her since she left!
Though she was always remembered somewhere deep in his heart.. He had'nt taken the initiative to go find about her whereabouts all these years..
Now he realized he was not worthy of a friend like her! Though he knew how to love truely, he had failed as a friend!
He felt himself shrink more as he realized that if kria was in their (his and the rest of the gang's) place, and if himself, rey or any other member from their gang had suddenly gone without prior explaination, kria would have been the first to take initiative and pursuade the rest to go insearch of who ever has left!
Many different types of thoughts were playing in his mind...
He felt guilt completely overtake him! And all he could do was moan at the chance he had lost to prove his friendship!
He also realized as to why kria must have been ignoring and showing a cold shoulder towards all of them now...
And thinking about it now.. He was surprised that she even managed talking with them a while back, though without the slightest recognition.
Well.. Now there was no use of cursing himself or feeling guilty. He had indeed committed an unforgivable mistake, but alas he could not just do nothing about it.. Or worse give up on kria so soon.
He sure could not change what he had done in the past.. But could surely repent for his sin.. And maybe as well correct it!

Taani sat all alone in the FE..
She dint know how to feel anymore.
What she just witnessed a while back..made all her burried insecurities to resurface..
She had been in a relation with rey for more than 2 years now. And things were normal so far... Until this morning!
Till a few moments back.. She was positive that her's and rey's relation was strong enough not to be affected by a mere love.. Ok maybe first love of his.
But she was well aware that all was not what it looked like.. And a part of rey, unknowingly is still stuck there... Where kria had left him, giving no proper expaination of her sudden departure..
Yes, she understood now.. That one could not completely forget a loved one, especially if there was no valid proof of betrayl.. And to top alot of mysteries that surrounded it all..
With so many thought drowning her.. Taani held her head in her hands, as if that would be a solution to all her problems.
A moment later she heard the FE door open and someone walk in. she very well knew who.
Rey quietly made his way in.. Sat next to taani and held her in his arms. He very well knew her dilemma and cursed himself for hurting her out of all the people..
He could listen to her silent sobs.. And all he could do was pat her back and kiss her forehead.. He himself grew teary looking at the mess he had created, and it irritated him more given that he had no valid explaination to what happened a few moments back..

kria was a bit shaken due to the sudden developments.. But her resolution was firm enough and so she soon overcame everything.. Or rather chose not to think about it.
And decided to maintain as much distance as possible from... Rey!
She headed back to the RH so as to get her bag before going to the canteen..
Just when she exited the RH and turned to go to the canteen, she saw swayam..
She decided to ignore and keep walking, when swayam stood right before her...
'Listen! Like i said before...' kria started but was cut short by swayam..
'hey.. New admission right.. Want me to show u around the campus..?' Asked swayam..
Kria stood there, trying to contemplate what exactly is happening..
And soon found out what it must be..
She herself had clearly told them all that the past could never be revived.. And now they are nothing but strangers...
After giving it a short thought she nodded and began walking with him..
He had his hands dugged in his denim pockets and was casually walking around the college and showing her the entire campus.. He loitered a little longer at the bb court, rh and canteen.. All the places which were attached to all of them...
After having a look at the auditorium, they were heading back to the canteen..
And just when kria thanked him meekly and was about to leave, he stopped her..
'umm.. Kria right? And you're new here.. So what say.. Friends?' swayam asked filled with nervousness and his hand held out..
He could see kria trying to decide..of what had to be done.. And just when he thought she was going to walk right past, she held his hand firmly and shook it.. 'friends.. You're my first friend here' kria said while shaking hands and smiling slightly.
swayam left a sigh of relief.. Finally he had got a chance.. To mend things! And he promised himself that..he would make sure that things get back to normal... Atleast between kria and himself!

Rey had made up his mind.. He was not going to allow his past affect his present! Yes he was anxious to know why kria had left all of a sudden..but whatever it maybe it did'nt change the fact that for her he was a mere way to popularity!
And now..he was happily in a relation with taani.. So no matter what he was'nt going to allow kria's presence to disrupt his present life
yet again he chose to outright ignore what he felt moments back.. When he had kria in his arms and the world ceased to exist right there for him..
Putting all those under a petty excuse of being shaken due to kria's sudden appearance.. He held taani's hand, sure of where he belonged and made his way to the canteen.

The gang were already there and were then joined by taa rey.
'Ye swayam kaha reh gaya? Sharon toh yaha hai!' asked a confused bharat..
'Haan, i was thinking the same.. Bhai kidhar reh gaye?' seconded taani.
Just when sharon was about to make a call.. Swayam entered the canteen smiling at all..
'where were you dude?' asked nil..
'heyy guys.. I just made a new friend,a newbie.. Wait, main tum sabko usse milwata hoon..' and his eyes scanned the canteen searching for his new friend...
The gang looked at him in utter shock.. Here they were making plans to rag and their dear friend had befriended the newbies.. Just greatt!
They saw him walking towards a corner and returning with a petite girl following him.. It was only when they reached the table that the gang realized who the girl was!
chapter 3
All chose to remain silent.. Especially after their confrontation with her the earlier morning in the RH..
'So guys meet my new friend... Kria!' introduced swayam..
The gang were suprised at how swayam introduced kria, but then soon realized about what kria had told earlier... And maybe she was right on her decision..partly!
Almost 2 years since she had left.. And there was no contact at all these years. So yes they were more of strangers now.. Given that kria's prior exit is still a mystery..and neither had they tried to find how or why!
And neither had she left a clue.. As to what they must do, or as to why she even left!
Keeping all these confusing thoughts aside.. It was sharon who spoke first after giving a brief look at rey and taani!
'Ohh.. So here you are again..' stated sharon
She was back to her 'diva' avatar..
'Sharon..ye tum..' swayam started but was stopped by sharon..
'Come on swayu... We can cannot just make some Stranger our friend, thoda bohut intro toh banta hai.. Especially after our previous experience...' sharon said.
Hurt was evident in her voice as she spoke the last sentence. Though others could only find the diva behind it, swayam realized even sharon was much affected by it all..
Infact she even had a very soft corner for kria which she kept hidden due to her so called dazzler tag then!
The rest of the gang (esp weaklings) too had almost the same reaction. Mixed feelings of anger and happiness to see the sole reason of their success back!
Neha was silent.. Kria was her bestie other than swayam's. And her sudden exit had left her with almost no one to depend on and trust completely. But left with no other option she too had began mingling and trying to find the same bond with others, but to no point so far.
The bond she had shared with kria, How much ever she tried.. Could'nt be built with anyone else..
And though she was angry at her for leaving so suddenly, a greater part of her was happy to get her bestie back..
But just when she felt things were getting right.. Kria burst her bubble by refusing to acknowledge any of them..
And though it did'nt click them then..
Now looking at what swayam was upto.. They knew just how to get win their friend back all over again!
And by now they also assumed the reason behind kria's sudden change in behaviour.. But all chose to keep quiet and win her back before any confrontation...
A tiny part of them were still upset with kria for leaving so abruptly.. But keeping those aside so as to sort out later, all had made up their mind to first get Their Kria back before having to give or get any explaination!
Which looking at the current situation and kria's cold behaviour looked impossible.
So finally after having a grip on themselves and their feelings the gang decided to go with the play..
Rey sat quietly all the time... And taanis eyes remained fixed on him and his reaction..
Soon the gang except taa rey had surrounded kria and swayam.
'So miss newbie.. What is ur name?' sharon asked kria.. Going along with the game kria had started..
'Its kria.. Kria ghai' she replied with confidence.
'So.. Since you are new here.. Why dont you do a few things as told.b?' asked vicky..
'Well.. It depends' kria shot right back.
'We're telling you.. Not asking!' ordered sharon
'So... Who would like to give miss. KriPa any task... Afterall aise hi koi humare gang ka aur iss collge ka hissa thodi banega..! Said sharon
All were thinking of what to be given.. Something that would'nt bother kriya much nor would it give away their act..
But before anyone could speak, taani interrupted. 'I would like to give her a task...'
all looked at her shocked with mixed reactions..
Taani had enough of rey's silence and wanted atleast some kind of reaction from him to know what he feels!
'So kria, i'm taani, swayam ki cousin.. And what i would like you to do is..' taani continued..
She looked around and at last came up with the perfect task for kria, as well as to get a proper reaction from rey!
'You have to... Well do what ur good at! Dance! Right here..!' finished taani.
Though kria was an excellent dancer she did'nt want to do it on anyones order.. So she just rolled her eyes and was about to make an exit when she was stopped by the gang...
'well u gotta do it.. Sorry but theres noway out! Better now or be ready to face this daiily...!' said simmi.
Kria thought for a while.. Yes, she could have easily complained to the VP but.. Well, she had to spend 2 more years in this college. And any such step from her side might isolate her.. So finally giving up, she kept her bag on the side table and asked for music!
Swayam went and plugged in the music system of the canteen.. And on a count of 3 played the music!
The song began to play.. And it was a couple dance song 'dhak dhak' new version..
After a few single steps, without thinking again kria walked up to... Swayam and took him for accompanying her further. And swayam too joined her without hesitation..a slight smile playing on his lips.
After a phenomenol performance for the first time together.. Both joined the gang..
'Whoaa must say kriya... U were too good! Even better than bef..' but rinni stopped in between realizing what she'd been blabbering!
'if u guys are done.. Then can i leave?' with that kria took her bag and was about to leave when..

All through the performance rey was silent.. And anger was quiet visible in his eyes.
Kria's words before she left him pierced his heart yet again.. He felt decieved yet again..
Looking at them dance, all he could think of was kria and her words for swayam! How she had always defended him... And yes, preferred swayam over him!
By the time they finished their dance, followed by hooting and clapping.. Rey was finding it hard to contain himself and his feelings about what just happened.
But he somehow controlled himself as he did'nt want others to bring the past again..that too infront of the gang and taani. He'd still not told anyone as to what Exactly had happened between himself and kria.. And neither had he told swayam that the reason was partly him...
After a lot of debating rey decided to follow kria and have a talk with her about what just happened...
But for that he had to make sure neither the gang nor taani notice it! Because it was ought to arise insecurity and doubt among them..which was far from what he intended. At the same time, neither could he talk about it infront of all.
Taani saw rey's reaction and was finally content. She had expected him to do stop the dance or even blast or get jealous.. But there he seemed abit angry instead and lost in his own thoughts. She was now very sure that their relation could withstand everything, though at times she had let herself wonder if they could ever be better compatible with anyone else... But then chose to ignore any such thoughts..
If they were'nt each others true love or were'nt meant to be.. They would'nt have stuck together for so long right!
Finally giving the wierd thoughts a rest she decided to go ahead to her alloted RH as the free period was over.

Rey found kriya exiting the canteen...so after bidding the gang and taani a quick bye, he left telling he had an important call to make.
As soon as he found kria alone, heading towards the locker...he looked around once again to make sure no one was looking and headed towards her.
'Kria..i need to talk to you' said rey.
Kria stopped in her tracks...but soon composed herself. 'Do i know you..? Oh yea..part of swayam's gang right?' replied kria.
That's it...that triggered rey once again...and he spoke in a more serious tone this time. 'I dont actually want to..but i have to talk to you right now...' before rey could complete, kria cut him in between agan.
'well, your absolutely right... even i dont wish to talk to strangers... given that we have not yet been introduced other than being swayam's mutual friends...' kria continued.
rey smirked from within...some things never change. baatcutter ki baatcutter hi rahegi. But things are not always how it looks like... ' kria, i need to talk, now.. and please call this act off for a few minutes.. after that we can continue your game of being strangers!' spoke rey frustratedly.
kria became quiet... hiw much ever she tried pitting a brave face on.. why was her universeji hell bent on reviving the past and the wounds related to it.
having no other option...kria was about to outright ignore rey and walk away when she felt a strong hold on her hand...and the next instant she was in the FE!
This place which once had soo many beautiful memories related to her life...now she felt disgusted to be here! that too the same person was responsible for both her fondness and disgust for this place!
Now rey had clearly crossed his limits...! and before thinking kria blurted out...'hope im not trespassing anyones private property...' she said with utter sarcasm. Rey felt really guilty for a moment, but then again chided himself.. why should he be guilty!
'u left me with no other option...than to bring u here. and about trespassing..feel free to what u think!' rey shot back... And even before she could reply, rey continued...'i dont know what u exactly feel for swayam! but remebering our last conversation im quiet clear you were attracted to him...' rey said...he could feel all those hurtful words by her resurfacing!
how she had compared him with swayam...and said she preferred swayam over him...and that she used him! but keeping aside his anger and trying to convince himself that all those were things of the past...and all that he need to be concerned is of his present..taani! and so he continued..
'well, i hope that does'nt get to your head again..i mean it felt as though u had some serious attraction towards swayam... and so..now the dance... well, i just wanted to tell u that now after a lot of tests and problems sharon and swayam are a couple and i dont want u to come in between them!' rey completed in a go.
He looked at kria and was suprised to find so many emotions being displayed on her face. But then thinking how wrong he had been to judge her before..he chose to look away.
after a few seconds just when he was about to leave, he heard a firm reply from kria..'if i was ever attracted or for that matter had any feelings of 'more than a friend' towards swayam i would have directly went ahead and confronted him! rather than telling you!' and before rey could sum up what exactly happened or what had he been told... he heard the FE door shut and kria walk out.
Leaving behind a frustrated..and confused rey! Now he knew there was much more to this girl than he thought.
