Chapter 13- Making the Move

I think the 'WAR' has officially begun.
When I entered the canteen today, NK was walking in from the other door with his arm slung over Khushi's shoulder and I could actually feel a pang of jealousy.
When NK spotted Me walking in, He gave Me a grin which showed a mixture of arrogance and greatness.
I could feel myself jealous of how open NK was with his feelings about Khushi.
All my gestures were considered friendly by Khushi but He seemed to be more than friendly with Her.
"Arnie...Awww...I missed You..." Khushi cooed walking towards Me and hugging Me tightly.
"Happiness...I missed You too..." I returned the hug while smirking at NK who did not look quiet happy.
"Princess...Are We going fo lunch?" NK interrupted.
"Oh Yeah..Damn Hungry...Arnie, Lets Go get something to eat." Khushi said and walked towards the canteen.
"So...Sandwich?" NK said looking at the Menu.
Before Khushi could reply, I intervened,"Khushi had a sandwich while coming to college with ME."
NK looked a bit startled but composed himself and said, "Pizza?"
"Khushi had pizza for dinner with ME last night." I said and looked at Khushi who was looking at the two of Us in confusion.
"Guys...I will get my own lunch...You take care of your own respective food." Khushi said loudly.
Just because Happiness said, I am going to get
My lunch right now.

God! Help Me...
What is wrong with Arnie and NK?
Both are behaving like they will just claw each other off.
After so much argument over MY food...I just had to take whatever Aakash had bought for his lunch.
"What is wrong with the two of them?" Lavanya asked, more like whispered.
"They are trying to take the limelight off each other." Payal scoffed while We three walked towards our usual table.
"They have lost it...Now You both don't start." I said while sitting at my usual seat.
"Hey...Have You Guys heard...A new student has entered our college?" Aakash exclaimed while NK and Arnav settled themselves on either side of Me.
"No... From where did You get this news?" Lavanya said.
"Saw 'Her' today morning..." Aakash claimed but was interrupted by Payal.
"Its a 'Girl'? Why are you drooling over Her already?" Payal said in an irritated voice earning a snort from my side.
"Yeah..She is one of those Girls for whom I am lining up already." Aakash drawled earning a smack on his arm from Payal.
"I am fine with my Princess." NK said and looked at Me.
"I cannot possibly think of sharing my Happiness with anyone." Arnav claimed wrapping his arm around my shoulder tightly.
Just then the door of the canteen opened and a tall girl entered.
She had large brown eyes, a very sweet face and long straight hair which went up to her waist.
Damn.
Aakash was not joking when He said that He would line up for Her because almost all the Guys in the canteen were sighing loudly.
The Girl glanced around the canteen and spotted our table.Her eyes seem to light up when Her eyes landed on our table.
She smiled brightly and walked towards our table and stopped in front of Arnav.
"Awww...Arrrnnnaaavvv...Cant believe it...I am finally meeting Arnav...!" She squealed and hugged Arnav.
The whole canteen was watching this rendezvous like a movie.
I turned and looked at Arnav who was giving Me a confused reaction.
"Whoooaaa...Arnav..You have a Secret Girl-friend?" NK said breaking the silence.
Secret Girlfriend??
"Pfft...She is not My Girl-friend...I don't know even know Her." Arnav claimed while giving NK a death glare.
"Oh! Of course...We have just met." The Girl said in an OVERLY SWEET voice,"Hey... I am Sheetal."
The girl said holding out Her hand to Arnav who shook it warmly.
"I am a transfer student... I am, Your Cousin Sister, Anjali's Best Friend...We were Best Friends when were in School and obviously now too ."
"So...You are still in touch with Anjali?" Arnav questioned curiously.
"Yeah... I was Her neighbour in Mumbai but now I have transferred here. I had seen Her family pictures on Facebook. That's How I recognized You." Sheetal said while Arnav smiled.
Sheetal then turned towards Me.
"Hey...You are Khushi, right? Anjali was talking about You too." Sheetal said and, to my surprise, hugged Me too.
"Oh, She told You about Me too.." I said in a surprised voice.
"Oh, Yes...She showed Me your pictures too...You are very pretty, I must say. Can We be Friends?" Sheetal questioned.
"Thank You...Of course, You don't have to ask." I said as I made space between NK and Me for Sheetal.
I don't know why but I did not feel like placing Her between Arnie and Me.
"Pheww...I was really scared when I thought about How I would be able to make friends here but I was sure of the fact that Arnav will help me out." Sheetal said fluttering her eyelashes at Arnav.
I can't deny the fact that She is a very nice and lovely person along with being extremely beautiful but still I did not like the way She was talking about Arnav.
By the end of the lunch hour, Sheetal was friends with everyone on our table and also had talked to Arnav a lot in spite of Me sitting in between.
"Oh NO NO...Oh Damn...I almost forgot!" Lavanya squealed while face palming herself and trying to jump on her six inches of heel.
"Now what?" Aakash inquired.
"I have got four passes to the Amusement Park and its getting expired tomorrow...Is someone interested?" Lavanya said looking at all of Us.
"Why don't You put them to good use?" NK said.
"Err...I have plans for tomorrow...I wont be able to make it...I don't want to waste these." Lavanya pouted.
"Sorry! I can't. I have a mountain of assignments to complete...So count me out." Aakash said raising his hands as if in surrender.
Lavanya nodded and turned towards Payal.
"Nah! I have to visit My Grand Ma...She is not keeping well." Payal excused herself.
"Oh...Ok..How about You Guys?" Lavanya questioned looking at our side of the table.
"Amusement Park? If Princess is going, Count Me in!" NK squealed.
Lavanya looked at Me with an amused expression,"Khushi?"
"I guess, I can go.I don't have any plans for tomorrow." I said looking at Arnav for confirmation.
"Okay...If Happiness has decided to Go..Then I have to go with Her." Arnav agreed.
"Sheetal...Please, Go with them and use the last ticket..." Lavanya said.
"Oh...You are inviting Me?" Sheetal exclaimed.
"Of course...You will have fun with them. Trust Me." Lavanya said but gave me a questioning look.
Oh No..Did My face look like a picture of worry?
"Of course. I would love to." Sheetal exclaimed.
"Alright." Lavanya squealed and pulled out the tickets from her handbag, "Enjoy these tickets."
I don't know why but I feel that tomorrow is going to be anything but 'Enjoyable'.
*YAWN*
Feeling really sleepy.
