Recap- Arnav and Khushi argue for the first time in their life.
Arnav gets frustrated and leaves Khushi.Aakash tries to tell Khushi that Arnav loves Her but Khushi behaves dense. Khushi realizes her mistake and feels the need to apologize to Arnav.On the other side, Arnav feels bad for Khushi and He comes to apologize to Her. Both share an emotional moment. Read Further!

Chapter 12- Acceptance of Challenges

21st December 2011

I got up with a very happy-happy feeling today morning.

The painful memories of the previous two days were just over.

Arnav and I were back to being the best of friends.

The first thing, I got today morning was a text message from Arnie.

'Hey Happiness...Good Morning.: ) Get Ready for College. Coming to pick You up in 1 Hour.- Arnie'

Oh... It's so good to see Arnav's message early in the morning...It made My day feel fresh.

I quickly got up, showered and got dressed.

The yellow color of the dress reflected my mood- Bright and spirited.

When I walked downstairs, I was greeted with the usual morning sight of Aakash slumped over the table stirring his coffee in a grumpy mood.

"Hello Brother... Good Morning!" I squealed while settling next to Him.

Aakash looked at Me like I had just declared someone dead.

"You seem to be in your chirpy mood again...Thank God!" Aakash said sipping his coffee.

"Yeah...I am in a good Mood now...Arnie and I are Friends again." I said pulling out an apple from the fruit basket.

"Yeah...Friends? Right. " Aakash taunted, "And What about NK? He is Your friend too?"

"Hmm...Yeah. OH NO...I totally forgot that I had a date with NK and that I stood him up on our first date." I screamed face-palming my forehead.

"He is Your Friend right? Why so concerned about the date?" Aakash questioned while grabbing my half eaten apple.

Before I could answer, a loud honk interrupted our conversation.

"Go... Your Best Friend has arrived." Aakash said making the statement seem like a taunt.

I walked out of the house to an unusual sight.

Usually, Arnav sits in the car checking out his hair or maybe browsing through his phone while waiting for Me but Today, Arnav was standing near the passenger's door.

"Good Morning Arnie..." I squealed rushing forward into His arms.

"Good Morning Happiness... Looks like We never had a fight at all." Arnav chuckled.

"Well...I am just excited that You are not angry with Me and that We are Friends again."

"OK then...better get going..." Arnie said pulling Me gently and opening the door of the Car."What are Your plans for tomorrow?"

"Errmm...Nothing yet...What is on your mind?" I questioned after We had settled in the Car.

"Lets do all the things We usually do...Lets go out tomorrow, Khushi?" Arnav suggested.

"Perfect! I would love to, Arnie." I squealed excitedly.

When I walked towards class, a hand stopped Me from going further and the same hand caught Me from falling due to the surprise.

I glanced up to see NK looking at Me intently.

"Hey Princess... How are You feeling now??" NK said while the people surrounding Us gave curious looks.

"Hey NK...I am fine now...I am So Sorry I could not make it the other day.." I apologised.

"That's okay... We can go out tomorrow...The important thing is that You are fine now." NK said tucking my hair behind my ears.

Damn.

This Guy can literally take my breath away.

A Date with NK...Tomorrow?

Sounds AWESOME!

"Oh Lovely...I would Love to." I said even though I was not sure about my feelings that something is not right about tomorrow.

Out of nowhere, Arnav cleared his throat.

I looked sideways and could see Arnav looking at the two of Us.

"Are You OK, Happiness? Why do You look so uncomfortable?" Arnav said leaning closer to my face and staring in to my eye.

I am official going crazy with these two taking my breath away due to their antics.

"I..Uh,...Mmm." I could not even find my voice.

I looked down and stared at the floor as if there was nothing more fascinating than that in the whole world.

"I am FINE.." I said calmly.

"OK... I am going for Basketball practice...See You later." Arnav winked and walked away.

"Princess...I am going to the Library...have to collect some books.." NK said walking towards the Library.

After they both left Me near the Class Door., It struck Me...

Oh NO...

I had said 'Yes' to both of them for Tomorrow...

I am SO DEAD!

Somehow, I have a feeling that tomorrow would be one of the most unforgettable days of My life.

GTG...Time for My Next Lecture.

I am too happy.

Khushi has finally agreed to go out with Me.

Its not like She does not go out with Me.

But this is different for Me...for My heart.

The Ball seemed to reflect My happy mood because each shot was a Score!

"Hey Dude!" NK's voice called out from the spectators stand.

Damn.

Spoke too soon.

NK.

The Guy who has been trying to steal my Khushi away from Me.

The Guy who is my rival in the war of Love.

I sighed and walked over to the stands.

"Nice Game... You Play Well." NK said looking at Me.

"Hmmm... I am unbeatable. You play too?" I questioned clearly NOT hinting towards basket ball.

"Of course. I am New...But I am a good competitor" NK said grabbing the ball out of My hands and dribbling it.

Clearly, We both were not talking about Basket Ball...It was all about our own personal war- Khushi!

"Hmm... Try Playing with Me...Don't expect to win." I said sweetly grabbing the ball out of his range.

"You Like Her?" NK questioned.

'Her'..?

I was Right!

We were talking about Khushi.

"Like?? ... I Love Her.." I confessed arrogantly.

"I feel the same way about Khushi..." NK muttered.

"You would stay away from Her now that You know that Your competition is Me." I growled.

"If You think You are unbeatable...Then fight for Her." NK challenged, "If You love Khushi, You will not give up this challenge."

"Ha! You think You are winning this challenge? " I chuckled.

"So this means that You are accepting the challenge?" NK said raising his right eyebrow.

"Pfft! Challenge? This is an open Dare. But if You hurt Khushi in any way...I will make You regret the Day You entered Khushi's life." I growled.

"Don't worry about Me... Worry about Your breaking heart... I can already hear the crashing sound." NK said leaning closer to Me.

"You worry about your broken bones...They seem to crash in the same way." I retorted back.

"OK, Arnav...May the Best Guy Win." NK said and threw the Ball perfectly into the Basket.

The War has taken a new route.

It was no more One sided...

The fire was on both the sides now.

'Yeah...Let the best Guy Win!'

Whooa...Running late for Lunch.

Khushi must be waiting for Me in the canteen.

Arnav said to NK that he loved her, but NK doesn't said that he loved her, I think NK is just trying to make them understand that they love each other, I hope for NK, atrherwise I hope he get the signal 😆

Let's see how win

Khushi is going on a date with both of them in the same day, can't wait ot read what is going to happens, obvuoisly with Khushi everything is possible.

P.S. I think me and the like button are enemy, yes because everytime I try to hit him he doesn't work, will try to make it work later 😆
