The lights got dimmed, giving a natural moonlight effect, the spotlight was only and only on Armaan and Shilpa. Soon music started to play in the background and a projector started playing. Shilpa looked at the projector screen and gasped, so did the others. On the projector screen, a slide show was playing, it wasn't just a slide show, it was a slide show of Armaan and Shilpa's photographs. Shilpa smirked at the shocked faces of everybody especially Tanya's. Armaan spun her around once and together they started dancing to the song.

"Ahaan..I am impressed, nice surprise Mr. Malik." Whispered Shilpa, resting her head on Armaan's shoulder. They were still dancing.

"We mean to impress Mrs. Malik. I hope, I am forgiven." Armaan whispered back.

"Tum kyon maafi maang rahe ho Armaan, it wasn't your fault. I was just.."

"Possessive?" Armaan tightened his arms around Shilpa and said, "I love you Shona and I love your possessiveness and jealousy regarding me as well. Let's just enjoy the moment!"

Shilpa sighed and swayed smoothly along Armaan to the tunes of the song. While dancing, it seemed as they had forgot the presence of others around them. Armaan and Shilpa were in their own world after shaking the ground beneath the others. Rahul and Nikki, and all the batch mates of Armaan and Shilpa, along their teachers stood gawking at the sight in front of them...Armaan and Shilpa dancing, so close that even air couldn't pass between them.

As they song ended, Shilpa raised herself a little and kissed Armaan's forehead, earning a sigh of content from Armaan. Somebody cleared his throat, and Armaan and Shilpa broke out of their sweet moment. Looking around they saw the open mouths and wide eyes of the people present there. Armaan casted a look towards his best friends and taking in their expressions, he whispered to Shilpa, "Shona, baby, I guess hamme Kareen Kapoor ki advice le leni chahiye!"

"What?" asked Shilpa, making a face.

"Rahul and Nikki are so ready to bombard us with their never ending questions, and I am in no mood of answering them, especially our dance. I guess we should..run.."

"Backstage..to the exit door.." winked Shilpa. Armaan grasped her hand in his and before anybody could react or act, both of them ran towards the exit door, backstage.

As the events of the night got registered in everybody's brains, they all started chanting, "This can't happen" "This is unbelievable" "Was that even real?" and much more.

Rahul and Nikki tried to follow Armaan and Shilpa, but failed. But like they say, "Kab tak bhagoge!" So they decided to wait a bit more.

Rahul, Muskaan, Anjali, Atul, Sid and Riddhima, were at Abhi-Nikki's place. Together they were chatting about the events of the reunion party and the hot topic, Armaan-Shilpa marriage, was the topic of discussion.

"I seriously can't believe this!" exclaimed Nikki handing a cup of coffee to Riddhima.

"Nikki, why are you still acting like this? It's so obvious that they are married are completely in love with each other. What's there not to believe?" asked Anjali.

"Anjali.." trailed off Rahul. "We do realise that they are married OK. Par yeh sab hua kaise and last time jo hua uske baad, aurr unke kisse.."

"Yeh kya tum dono baar baar ek hi baat repeat karte rehte ho? Aise kya baat hai that you are still in denial mode about Armaan's marriage to Shilpa?" asked Muskaan. She was damn irritated by Rahul and Nikki's behaviour.

"Yeah, Muskaan is right. What exactly is Armaan and Shilpa's equation? Why are you two acting like this?" questioned Riddhima.

"So you guys wanna know, ki humme Armaan aurr Shilpa ki marriage par itni hairaani kyon ho rahi hai?" asked Rahul.

"Yup!" they all nodded. Rahul and Nikki looked at each other and started telling Armaan and Shilpa tales, and how Rahul and Nikki met Armaan and Shilpa.

"Armaan aurr Shilpa, bachpan se ek saath hain, ek hi ghar mein rehte thhe dono. Shilpa used to live with Armaan and his parents. I came into picture, when in class 6th I got admitted to Armaan and Shilpa's school. I was a nerd back then, huge glasses, braces and all. Sabhi students, including Armaan, mera bohot mazaak udate, meri baat baat par rone ki aurr har waqt bolte rehne ki aadat ki wajah se, Armaan named me Basanti. It was only Shilpa who helped me around. She used to help me with everything, ek baar toh woh mere liye Armaan se bhi lad padi. And Armaan being Armaan started calling Shilpa, Dhanno." Told Rahul.

"Dhanno" Abhi raised his brows, "Why?" he asked.

"Well, Sholay movie mein, Basanti ki best friend kaun? Uski ghodi Dhanno! And in my case, I was Basanti and Shilpa, Dhanno, because she's my best friend." Chuckled Rahul, and everybody smiled.

"Armaan aurr Shilpa kabhi bhi and I mean it, kabhi bhi ek doosre ko unke naam se nahi bulate thhe. For Armaan, it was Shippu and For Shilpa, Armaan was Golu." Told Rahul.

"Golu.." giggled Muskaan, "Why?" she asked, giggling again.

"Armaan used to be fat back then. Really really fat, just like a gol matol ball."said Rahul, making everybody laugh a little.

"So what pranks they used to play at each other?" asked Sid, sipping his mango-shake.

"Well, the ones I know are like..we were in 7th and Armaan and Shilpa just had a huge fight over the seats. Shilpa wanted to sit on the first bench but Armaan did, Shilpa didn't even got a chance to move Armaan away. It was recess and Armaan had gone to buy something to eat. You know Shilpa spread the superglue over the bench seat. Armaan ne dhyaan nahi diya and he just sat down on the seat. Ab jab uthne ki baari aayi, toh janaab uth-te kaise, chipak jog aye thhe bench ke saath. After a lot efforts, we were able to separate the bench and Armaan, but..." Rahul started laughing.

"But what?"

"Usse aurr bench ko alag karne ke chakkar mein, Armaan ke uniform trousers and his mickey mouse print underwear, dono hi peeche se...phat gaye.." he said in between his laughs.

"Infact he suffered rashes too. 3 din tak bechara dhang se baith nahi paya!"

"So Shilpa ko kissi ne kuch nahi kaha?" asked Atul, laughing loudly.

"Usko punishment milli na. She had to do Armaan's incomplete homework, and Armaan never used to do his homework, so Shilpa actually had a lot of work to do."

Arre yeh toh abhi shuruvaat hai, abhi Armaan ko bhi toh apna revenge lena tha!" exclaimed Nikki.

And by this started a series of pranks done by Armaan and Shilpa on each other, everybody laughed and laughed only. When Rahul's side of story got completed, Nikki started her one.

"I met Shilpa, Rahul and Armaan at fresher's party. They came together, but the moment they entered the party, they took different ways. Armaan being the charming guy he is, got surrounded by the female crowd of the party and Shilpa, well she was enjoying the party fully. Rahul used to be a little shy around people. I met Rahul first and he introduced me to Armaan and Shilpa. Tab tak Rahul aurr Armaan best friends ban chuke thhe." Told Nikki.

"We became friends and soon enough me and Armaan started dating.." Nikki was interrupted by a possessive snarl coming from Abhi. This made Nikki giggle and smack Abhi's chest, "It was a matter of few months only. We figured out that we can be best friends but nothing more than that."

"Any other famous prank?" asked Atul and Sid.

"I remember, our chemistry teacher had Shilpa and Armaan paired up for a project in lab. Armaan slept during the lecture and Shilpa, well, she poured water on Armaan's jeans and it looked as if..as if..he did it in his pants!" Nikki said, biting her lip, trying not to laugh.

"Oh I remember that.." Rahul spoke between the bouts of laughter.

"Chera dekhne waala thha uska, jab woh utha. He actually thought that he really wet his pants! He tied his lab coat around his lower body and left the lab." Told Rahul and everybody laughed more.

"Yaar Shilpa itni khatarnaak ho sakti hai, I didn't knew that!" exclaimed Sid, "Armaan ne kuch nahi kiya?"

"Kiya na..."

"Kya?"

"Armaan disguised himself as a scary clown and scared Shilpa. She was sleeping and he just shook her from sleep and Shilpa freaked out because she isn't a fan of clowns and Armaan had this scary clown look on his face. She freaked out and ran outside the room, and accidently fell off the stairs. She had her left hand and right leg fractured."

"Ouch...that really would have hurt."

"And Armaan was hell guilty. You know, main kabhi unke rishte ko samajh nahi paayi. Yeh dono itna jhgadte thhe, Armaan used to think that Shilpa is taking his parents away from him and was jealous of the love, his parents had for Shilpa. But..." trailed off Nikki.

"But.." continued Rahul, "But they cared for each other really. Not only cared, maine Armaan ko dekha hai, Shilpa ke liye possessive hote hue. You know, he didn't hated me for being a nerd, he hated me because I became Shilpa's other best friend. Shilpa ke paas koi ladka aa nahi sakta thha, Armaan ke haaton marna kaun chahta hai?"

"You remember, Armaan's ex-girlfriend, Maya?" Nikki asked Rahul.

"Yeah, I do. Yeh wahi Maya hai na, jisne Armaan pe molestation charges lagaye thhe?" asked Rahul.

"What?" shrieked everybody.

"Yup, she did and I am really guilty about this, but hum mein se kissi ne bhi Armaan par trust nahi kiya. It was only Shilpa..." trailed off Nikki.

"Yeah, I am guilty about it too...maine bhi uspar trust nahi kiya. Lekin Shilpa..she was like, you know, uska Armaan par trust..Shilpa ne khud he Maya ke against evidences collect kiye and all!" added Rahul.

"You guys are really weird, you know! You have the answer to your question already and you are still freaking around!" frowned Riddhima.

"What?" asked Rahul and Nikki at the same time.

"See, tum log ki bataon se yeh saaf zaafir hota hai, ki Armaan and Shilpa chahe jitna lad lein, jhagad lein but woh kabhi ek doosre se door nahi reh sakte thhe. They cared, they shared and I even think that they loved each other, right from the start." Exclaimed Riddhima.

"I agree." Said everybody except Rahul and Nikki.

"But jo last time hua.." they trailed off.

"What last time? Itni der se kya last time, last time laga rakha hai?" muttered Anjali.

"We were in second year, a college party was going on and Rishab ne jo kiya..." trailed off Rahul.

"Actually it was about Shilpa's parents." Said Nikki.

Abhi shrugged, and said, "I've been meaning to ask this, but you all were so involved so let the subject drop. You said, ki Shilpa, Armaan ke saath, ussi ke ghar par, uske parents ke saath rehti thhi. What about her own parents?"

Rahul looked at Nikki and gestured her about something and Nikki nod to Rahul's unsaid question. Rahul turned, facing everybody again and said, "Actually Shilpa ki Mom and Armaan ki Mom, best friends thhi. Shilpa's Mom got pregnant with her, before marriage, her (Shilpa's) Dad left her Mom. Ananya auntie, Armaan's Mom, tool care of Shilpa's Mom, she wanted to abort Shilpa but couldn't because of pregnancy complications. And when Shilpa was born, her mother left Shilpa. Unhone Ananya auntie se kaha thha, that...that she can do whatever she wants to do with Shilpa, be it, abandoning her, sending her to orphanage and even...I can't even say those things to you all.."

The atmosphere tensed that instant. Those who were laughing a while ago, were now all sad and had tears in their eyes.

"Ananya auntie ne Shilpa ko apni beti banakar rakha, usse Armaan ke equal rakha. Even Billy Uncle loved her like his own child." Added Nikki.

"But iss sab ka, Armaan aurr Shilpa ke separation se kya lena-dena?" asked Sid. His voice tense and sad.

"Rishab was Armaan's friend, and he used to like Shilpa, more of a stalker types, he was. Jab Shilpa ne usse poore college ke saamne reject kiya and thppad bhi maara, so he swore revenge. So he decided to do something to avenge his insult. And usne sabe seedha raasta use kiya..Armaan. sabhi ko pata thha, that Armaan and Shilpa stay together, so Rishab decided to find out why. Armaan kabhi kissi ko batane waala nahi thha, so Rishab took him to a bar, got him drunk and asked him about the matter." Told Nikki.

"Armaan was highly drunk, so he blurted the whole truth out and Rishab used the college party as a way to spread the truth to the whole college and then blamed it all on Armaan." Added Rahul.

"You remember Riddhima, when you got to know about you being adopted? Uss raat jab Armaan tumhe manane aaya thha, you got mad at him and said a few words to him...do you remember?" asked Nikki.

Riddhima frowned and tried to remember the words she had thrown at Armaan that night and when she did, she actually felt guilty..

"NO'YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND AN OUNCE OF WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH ARMAAN. TUMHE PATA BHI KAISE HOGA, TUMHAARE PAAS TO EK PERFECT AND LOVING FAMILY HAI NA. TUMHE KAISE PATA HOGA, KI HOW IT FEELS IN SUCH A SITUATION. GO TO HELL ARMAAN. LEAVE ME ALONE FOR GOD'S SAKE."

"I remember.." mumbled Riddhima.

"Jab yeh Rishab waala kaand hua, tab Shilpa ne bhi yahi kaha thha uss-se. That day she broke all ties with Armaan. She left him alone, usne college chod diya, ghar chod diya aurr Armaan ko bhi. Only Armaan's parents were aware about Shilpa, and where she was living but no one else did. Armaan tried every possible way to contact Shilpa but I guess she was way too much hurt to reply and Armaan stopped trying after a few months. Iss sab ke baad, yeh log kab mille, kahan mille kaise mille, kuch nahi pata. So it's surprising that when they came back, they came back married!" sighed Nikki.

Everybody sat quiet for few minutes. But Muskaan had to break the silence. After-all she's known as chatter-box for a reason!

"Oye sab samajh aa gaya, but yeh samajh nahi aaya ki Shilpa tujhse kaise milli?" Muskaan aked poking Sid's shoulder.

"Haan!" Riddhima narrowed her eyes at Sid and said, "Party mein toh bada chipak rahe thhe uske saath..."

"Arre yaar, tum kyon pareshaan hue jaa rahi ho.." frowned Sid.

"Nothing much, we just met and became friends..just as simple as it sounds!" shrugged Sid.

"I don't thinks so..kuch toh gadbad hai.." smirked Rahul.

"Oh I remember Sam Bro..yeh wahi hai na.." Nikki smiled wickedly.

"Bhabhi Ji.." Sid muttered, warningly.

"What?" snapped Riddhima.

"Actually Ridz, Sid ki ek girlfriend thhi..Aisha. She was so much in love with Sid ki usne toh bachon tak ki planning kar rakhi thhi!" told Abhi, smirking widely.

Riddhima glared at Sid, she was mad because Sid never told her about this Ayesha. He had told her about every girlfriend he had but this Ayesha never came up and he didn't even told her about Shilpa.

"Just like usual, Sid was running away from Ayesha, when he collided with girl, mujhe nahi pata thha ki woh ladki Shilpa hai. I mean, me and Abhi were in Singapore and Sid was completing his studies in America, so I never met that girl, Shilpa, I mean." Smiled Nikki and continued, "Abhi bohot akadta hai na, ki kissi se nahi darta..janaab Ayesha ke darr se Shilpa ke peeche chup kar khade ho gaye. It was Shilpa who handled the situation claiming Sid as her fiance."

"We became friends afterwards. I used to call her Sam Bro and she used to call me Sidhu Bhraji. Weird as it sounds but we were like kumbh ke mele mein bichde hue siblings! She's adorable!" said Sid, smiling sheepishly.

"He's right Ridz." Rahul said, "Abhi toh tum uss-se properly milli nahi, ek baar usse jaan lo gi, usse samajh lo gi, then you'll yourself get to know that why we adore her like this!"

"Sab kuch set hai bas ek question ka answer milna baaki hai!" sighed Anjali.

"Hhmm..Inke dill mill toh gayye.." trailed off Muskaan.

"But yeh , Dill kaise mille?" they all said together.

Armaan and Shilpa were lying on the bed, bare as usual. Even after 1 and years of marriage, they still couldn't keep their hands to themselves. Exploring each other, in the every way possible, and in the most intimate way, they expressed their love to each other. The love they had for each other had passed various stages, it was like a seed when they were kids, it grew up into a bud as they grew up but the flower of love blossomed when they realized it. Childhood love, is like this only. Jiske shuruvaat ka kuch pata nahi, uska kya ant hoga?

"HHmm..uumm..chodo Armaan, kya kar rahe ho!" whisper-yelled Shilpa, as Armaan was caressing her at places that tickled lightly.

"Never had I thought that my dream will ever come true!" whispered Armaan, nuzzling Shilpa's neck.

"It still feels like dream.." trailed off Shilpa, as she ran her fingers through Armaan's hair.

"It's real baby, it's real..." replied Armaan, trailing kisses on Shilpa's bare shoulder.

"Armaan.."

"Hhmm.."

"Make love to me..show me that's it's real, please!"

As the word left Shilpa's mouth, Armaan didn't waste even the next second as he just kissed Shilpa. The kiss felt as if fireworks exploded deep down their stomachs, tingling their hearts. The kiss was romantic, possessive, pleasurable and explosive. Shilpa let out a throaty moan, as Armaan started moving his hands over her bare body.

Armaan slid his hands under Shilpa's legs and picked her up. Breaking the kiss for a second, Shilpa asked, "What..?" Her voice husky with pleasure.

"Got to prove you that it's real!" replied Armaan and carried Shilpa upstairs to the terrace. As the cool air hit Shilpa's body, she snuggled deeper into Armaan's chest and was glad that they had this particular house. It was like their own private paradise, with no neighbours around.

The terrace had a contemporary outdoor beach bed. It was beautiful. (Like shown in the pic below)

Laying Shilpa on the bed, Armaan sat on his knees and started caressing her legs. Shilpa felt ticklish and his touch. Moving his hands upwards to her body, Armaan fondled Shilpa's bosoms, making Shilpa moan in pleasure. Caressing his back, Shilpa moved her left leg and hooked it around Armaan's waist, wanting more skin to skin contact.

Nuzzling between her bosoms, Armaan started planting wet sloppy kisses. He nipped and nicked at her collarbone, giving her love-bites all over.

"Sheesh..Armaan! I'll be a mess.." Shilpa whispered but couldn't keep away the pleasure in her tone.

"It's my way to show everybody that you belong to me, just me. Mine. Say you are mine!"

"Armaan.." sighed Shilpa, as Armaan moved towards her aching, pleasure wanting and wet core.

"Say you are mine!"

Shilpa raked her fingers through Armaan's hair and pulled him towards her core.

"I need words baby, say it!" he said, licking her wetness.

"Yours! Just yours Armaan...just yours!" replied Shilpa, sighing in pleasure.

And the whole night went like this. Armaan loving Shilpa, Shilpa loving him back and their friends still thinking about how their hearts met!

Loved the flashback part..and awww Armaan was soo angry because Shilpa wanted to leave him and said that everybody left him and went away..poor baybee!!!

And tinky-winky..la-la!! teletubbies!! Really!!! I hated that show..it creeped the hell outta me!! hehehe

And now even am more curious to know what else they used to call each other!! Yaar cliffy end..no fair!!
