( ARNAV'S POV )
After strenuous meeting of 3 hours we were finally able to crack t deal. It dint come as a surprise to me as I knew only a fool would reject a proposal from AR. I am not boasting or thinking highly of myself. After t horrible incident that changed my life I put all my energy into the business. In 3 yrs I made this No 1 business in India from scratch.
Everyone calls me heartless.
That's because I have already given my heart to someone else 4 yrs back.
Thinking of her brought back both happiness and sadness.
Happy that she happened to me and sadness thinking how I lost her forever.
I shaked out of my thoughts and got ready to go home.
Di would be waiting for me.
I quickly got out of the client's place and got into the car.
I started driving towards home lost in thoughts.
As I parked the car I could see di waiting for me as expected.
How many times I have told you not to wait for me di? I asked her.
How many times I have told you I can't sleep without making sure you're ok she replied back.
I knew I can never win with her.
I quietly sat in t dinner table while she went to get my food.
She came out with food and served me.
How was your day chotte she asked while serving.
As usual. And I have to go to London for 10 days fr a meeting I told her.
Why suddenly chotte? she asked
It was finalized in today' s meeting. I should go there to finalize a few things di. I said.
She sighed and asked about my flight timings.
Tomorrow mornin 10 di I replied.
Do you need any help in packing? She asked
I just nodded negatively.
Why don't you find someone for yourself chotte she asked. I sighed. Same question always. How can I tell her there's already someone in my heart and I can't give her place to anyone?
Not again di I have already told you that I have no interest in marriage. I am fine like this. I repeated my usual dialogue.
She just sighed as usual.
I am going to Akash's room di.
I went not waiting for her reply.
I knocked Akash's room and got in.
Am I disturbing you? I asked.
No bhai pls come sit he replied.
I sat down next to him and explained the things to be taken care in my absence.
I will take care you pls don't worry bhai he replied.
Thanks Akash I am leaving for my room goodnight I reply.
Goodnight bhai he replied.
I came to my room after that
I just randomly picked up my things and packed it.
Then I went the poolside my sanctuary. The only place I feel a bit peaceful and feel close to her. And moreover this is one place where I don't have to act strong and let my feelings out.
I just stood there staring at the stars. My heart was filled with a void. I couldn't help but think how I would' v been now if things were different back then.
Everyone thinks I have everything just because I have money, fame, power and looks. But no-one knows that the one with whom I want to share all this is not there with me. A lone tear made its way from my eyes. I dint bother wiping it. I slowly made my way to the bed. I had to get up early for airport tomorrow. I closed my eyes as sleep slowly took over me.
