I must tell you it was so much fun reading them..!

But the last update..? At least Roshni should have called Inspector Avinash right away without telling Choti.. Being a police officer's wife she knows how dangerous that would be..i mean not informing the police.

CHAPTER 5:

Anji was so worried. Rosh was taken by the Anti Narcotic Cell (ANC). She immediately called Papa and cried out. They reached home to find a broken Choti. After crying out her heart she told everything to papa. He assured everything would be fine and went to the ANC. But he was not allowed to get in. there was only one way left for him- Arjun.

He immediately reached his office only to find Arjun is only on his way back. He informed Inspector Avinash about the matter, who called and informed Arjun at that moment. He called back his father that he is on the way. He asked Avinash to get to the matter before he reached the place. Papa went back to the home. Choti was all the more crying when he reached alone.

Arjun was completing his work and on the way, when he received the call. The news shocked him to the maximum extend. He couldn't imagine his Roshni in an interrogation room. He wished to be near her ASAP. He asked Avinash to get to the matter, as he knew someone was actually framing him.

There in the interrogation room, she was lost and frightened. "Arjun...please jaldi ayiye... please... mujhe bohot dar lag raha hai..."

A man along with 2 lady officers entered the room. She was in a chair in the middle of the room. The male officer took a chair nearby and looked at her.

"tho Mrs. Roshni Arjun Suryakanth Rawte... kya khoob kaam kiya hai apne?? Aapke pathi, yaha ke criminals ko bhagane me lage hai. bechara usse ye nahi patha tha ke ek criminal apne ghar me bhi the..."

"nahi, meine kuch nahi kiye believe me. I didn't do anything"

"acha, tho fir ye packet apke bag me kaise aayi?"

She was silent. How could she say about Choti? No she kept her silence.

Man: apko laga ke apke pathi ghar pe nahi hai tho kuch bhi kar sakthe hai.right??

Rosh: nahi sir aap galath samaj rahe hai. ...

But her voice was stopped by a tight slap on her face. She winced in the pain.

Man: sahi aur galath mujhe math sikha tum. Yaha bohot sare log athe hai, aur unse sach bhi hum nikalwayi hai. tho tum kya ho? Ab bol, (tightly holding her hair back) bol kaun kaun hai tumhare group me? Bol??

She was crying and saying she was innocent. He slapped her again. And again she said the same.

He was getting frustrated, he raised his hands again.. "RUKH JAO..." a thunderous voice came from behind. she turned to him. "Arjun..." she cried out.

The officer had heard about him but never saw him before. In front of him stood an angry young man, with murderous look and lots of pain in his eyes. She tried to get up and go to him. But the lady officers stopped her. "ye apke ghar nahi hai...jab jake apne pathi ke paas jaye..." she looked at him with pain. He couldn't take it anymore. He turned to the officer.

Arjun: aap aise barthav nahi kar sakthe. Agar unhe interrogation bhi karni hai, tho wo lady officers se honi chahiye. Not by you

Off: aap mujhe math sikhayiye. I know my job. Pura Mumbai sudharne gaya. Par ghar bhool gaya kya??

Arjun (held his fist to control): mujhe bhi patha hai kya karna hai. aur rahi Roshni ke baath she is innocent. Aur ye mien patha lagake rahunga. Ab filhal ye lijiye (he gaves an envelope to the officer) ye case me, mien bhi involve honewale hu. Commissioner sir ke orders hai. so if you don't mind can I have some questions for her.

The officer was pissed off and didn't want him to get this case. But he didn't have a choice. Arjun and Avinash came in and the officers had to go out. Arjun looked at Avinash and he moved out leaving them. she ran into his arms.

"Arjun... please trust me I didn't do anything. Trust me..." she broke down on his shoulder. He held her tightly. "I know meri jaan... I trust you... Ab sambhal apne apko. Mien aagye hu na??" he kissed her forehead. He took her face in his hands and saw the marking of the earlier beatings. It was red and swollen. He felt himself boiling. She sensed it and closed her head in his chest. He held her for a while.

He made her sit down. And took her hands. "Roshni, ab bolo kya hua tha?"

She told about Choti coming from market till she hid it in her room. He heard every word of her patiently. He called Avinash in.

Arjun: yaha ke officers ko hamare ghar ke patha kaha se mila?

Avi: sir, officer ne ek aadmi ko pakda tha.Danish. Jisne aapke ghar ke patha bathaya, ye kehke madam uske team member hai.

Arjun: thab tho usse milna hi hoga. (he turns to her) mien abhi aya.

But she holds on to his hands, frightened and nodded negative. Avinash felt bad about her. Arjun held her face "I promise Roshni, mien tumhe bohot jald yaha se lekar lejaunga. Trust me. Aur tumhe ab yaha koi haath thak nahi lagaunga" he kissed her forehead and went out.

He was furious, first by the way they treated her and about the case. He went and held onto the officer's collar. "ye bhi koi thareeka hai? aurat pe aise haath uthathe hai kya??"

Avinash came from behind and removed the officer from Arjun's grip.

Off: yaha pe aise hi hothe hai. no special consideration. Even for your wife. She is a criminal.

Arjun: don't you dare to say that again. She is not. Wo Danish jo apke custody me hai, mujhe usse milna hai. and you can't stop me from meeting him.

Again the officer didn't have a choice.

Arjun marched to the lock up. Danish knew Arjun and when he saw him, his life was almost sucked out. Arjun sensed it and went with a killing look. And placed his gun right on his forehead.

"Ab bas such. Wo packet kaha rakha tha. Zara firse apne team member ka patha bathana? Zara mien bhi tho sunu..."

Danish gulped. He stammered. Arjun cocked his gun and pressed it again. "me mere sawaal dohrathe nahi hai. tho soch samajh kar hi bathana."

He stammered with the address.

Arjun: kya hua? apne team member ke address aise kaise bhool sakthe ho tum? (he grabs the collar and pins to the wall)

"Avinash check him well." Avinash checks and finds the paper bit and hands to Arjun. he turns to the officer who was open mouthed.

Arjun: dekha aise bhi sawaal kiya ja saktha hai... aapke hi lock up me rehna wale ko ek chit athe hai. aur apne jo isne bol diya wo maan liya. Ek aadmi jo pure raath ko muh nahi khol sakthe, wo agle subah kaise khol diya? Huh?

The officer didn't have any answer. Arjun turned to Danish. "abhi thak seedhe saadhe puch raha tha. Ab bol, kisne diya ye?"

Danish keeps mum. Now Arjun lost all his control and slapped him hard. At last he had to open his mouth "Shravan, usne bhaja tha... ek hawaldar ke haath."

Arjun is all the more furious and turns to the officer. He gets the cue. He calls the hawaldars and Danish recognizes the man. Arjun walks to him and looks at him. "sharam nahi aye the kya. Ab bol, kaha milege ye Shravan"

"patha nahi sir, wo bas paise diya the... aur mien..."

Arjun closes his eyes to control.

"chale jao... warna ek policewale pe bhi haath uthane padega"

He turns to Danish, "ab tum bol, kaha milega ye Shravan?" he gives the address. He gave Avinash the orders.

Arjun walks to the officer. "ab Roshni ko chod do"
off : I'm sorry sir, par aap janthe hai ke uske liye court orders chahiye. And its over for the day. Aur kal Sunday bhi hai. so no court. Tho aap unhe Monday ko hi leja sakthe hai"

"WTH..? Wo begunah hai..."

"I know sir. But we don't have a choice. But I promise, unhe yaha koi kuch nahi kahenge. She will be fine here." Arjun didn't have a choice now. He went to her. She was sitting in the corner of the room, with her had hidden on her knees. He sat by her and placed an arm on her shoulder.

Rosh: Arjun, please take me from here. Please...

Arjun: I'm sorry Roshni. I'm helpless. Tumhe lejane keliye court orders chahiye. Aur wo ab Monday ko hi milege.

Rosh: yani do din, mien yaha... (she cried out.)

"jab tadapta hai kabhi apna koi...
khoon ke aasu rula de bebasi"

Arjun couldn't take her tears. He held her tightly. She was shivering. He held her more tightly. "I'm sorry Roshni, I'm sorry..."

She wept hard. Avinash came in and saw his senior in tears. "Excuse me sir... I'm sorry. Par Shravan ka patha chal gaya hai." he nods and Avi goes out.

Arjun: (taking her face): Roshni, listen...yaha tumhe koi kuch nahi karega, aur na kuch kahega. I promise mien bohot jald aunga. Please thab thak apna khayal rakhna. Please.

She cries and nods her head. He kisses her and slowly leaves her.

He gets hold of Shravan. He beats him, giving out his fury. And by night he brings him to the ANC, where he confesses everything.

Arjun goes back to Roshni. She slept a few minutes before after crying for a long time. he gently caresses her hair and wipes the dried tears on her cheeks. The officer comes behind. "Sir, I'm really sorry. But you should leave now. I promise, ab unhe kuch nahi hoga"

He kisses her forehead and leaves the sleeping Roshni. At home all were waiting for him. Choti knew when he came alone, about the matter. She went and hugged Arjun. "I'm sorry bhai, ye sab meri wajah se hui hai. we should have called the police. I stopped her. I'm sorry..."

"its ok Choti, case ab solve ho chuke hai. Roshni is proved innocent. Par... court order Monday morning ko hi milega... thab thak..." his voice cracked. Mom came and hugged him. At last he broke down on her shoulder. She didn't say anything other than holding onto him. After a while he went to his room and sat on the bed. He took the photo frame and held on to his chest...the night passed slowly...

The next day he reached the ANC. She was waiting for him, and he saw a pale face, without any emotions. He felt terrible. And today he hugged her and she could feel him crying. She patted his back and consoled him silently. he had a phone and was called to meet his seniors. He reluctantly left her.

The seniors had to speak about the recent situation, and for the first time they saw a broken ACP Rawte. But he held on. Evening him again came to meet her and left by night.

Monday morning, first he got the court orders. He took her home. The family saw a pale Roshni at he door steps. They took her to the hall. Choti held on to her neck and cried. "Sorry bhabhi...sorry..."

Roshni just patted her back and took Choti's face in her hands. She nodded negative and gave a weak smile. Arjun took her to the room.

He made her sit on the bed. And he sat opposite her on his knees. "Roshni, kuch tho bolo... please aise chup math ho... please..." she saw tears in his eyes that moved over his cheeks. She wiped it and hugged his neck and both of them cried their hearts out. They missed each other too much.

After a while Roshni was sleeping peacefully on Arjun's chest with her holding on to his shirt firmly.tears rolled on his cheeks. He held her tightly and kissed her. "I promise mien ab tumhe kabhi aise haal me nahi chodunga... I promise..."
