OS: Picture Perfect!
'Aaa'.' She winced in pain as she placed her foot on the floor. 'Mummaaa..' Kriya cried out loud but there was no reply. 'Ye plaster bhi abhi hi hona tha' she frowned even with the thought. Then how couldn't she be upset when she in real has a plaster on her ankle. 'Aise hi hona chahiye tha' she yelled at herself softly for running carelessly down the stairs.Her excitement was killed by the unforeseen incident of her falling of the stairs. Kriya had officially returned to Mumbai to fulfil her dancing dream. Even though it took her a few months to convince her mother completely, but in the end, she was successful in doing so.
She smiled at the thought, when her mother had agreed to her dancing all over again. It was like a new life, she had started living then. At the same time, Reyansh Singhania missed his soul buddy. His sweetheart friend's company who always said 'Rey aap'.. 'Aap woh''Aap ye' he was dreaming big. A dream, his mind said would never come true but his heart supported him saying 'You'll meet her again this New Year.' Reyaansh smiled at both his heart and mind, the war was very interesting for him but irritating at the same time.
Though Reyaansh's mind wanted to visit Dehradun once again for the New Year's Eve party at the same club, his heart on the other hand wanted to stay right where he belonged in MUMBAI. Kriya was astonished at her heart beating faster, ' pata hai Swayam hume aap ke baremai humesha kehta rehta hai, jaane kyu aisa lagta hai hum milege bahut jald Rey' said Kriya but fumbled as she heard the knock on her door.
'Do, I have the permission to enter you're room madam?' asked Swayam with a smirk. 'Nahi aap vahi pe ruk jaeye, hume aapse koi baat nahi karni!' Kriya said, pouting. Swayam held his ears and said 'I'm sorry for coming late, please andar ane do mai already aunty ko explanation de chuka hu abh tumhe bhi nahi please' he requested. Kriya immediately bursted out laughing watching Swayam's puppy face. 'Haasii toh matlab maaf kar diya' said Swayam with a wink as he walked in and sat on the bed near her plastered foot. He knocked the plaster, while Kriya acted wincing in pain, Swayam got hell scared. But Kriya once again laughed out at his worried behaviour.
'Tumhe ye sab karne mai maza aa raha hai na?' questioned Swayam while Kriya nodded in reply. 'Jao abh hum baat nahi karege' stated Swayam while Kriya tried to get up and walk up to him to apologize. But before she could fall, Swayam caught hold of her, he yelled at her straight on her face for doing such an act. Kriya apologized while at the same time she begged Swayam to be taken out of the house today on New Year's Eve. 'Anywhere would do but I just don't want to welcome 2013 sitting idle at home' Kriya stated firmly.
Swayam tried to convince Kriya's mother, but she was stubborn just like her daughter. Kriya tried to convince her mother as well, but she was not ready to either understand her feelings or the situation. Kriya gave up and said 'Maa, chalo isse aacha hum Dehradun hi vapas chalte hai' Kriya's mother pouted at her daughter's demand.. 'Fine you can go only if Swayam goes with you' conditioned her mother.
Kriya gave a hard glare to Swayam , 'Ye mai kaha fas gaya' his mind thought while Kriya's face lit up with a secret evil smile.
Few hours later. Swayam and Kriya reached the party venue that Swayam's outside college friends had arranged. The party was on since 10pm but the duo's reached there a little late by 11:30pm, as Kriya just enjoyed the ambience of Mumbai, the new ambience that she hadn't got a chance to experience yet. It was a place where the best dancers of Mumbai attended the party because it was full of liveliness and dance. A passion that most of the attendees shared, even though Kriya limped Swayam had accompanied her there just for his best friends' happiness. Kriya rested her foot on a lone sofa reserved for her, all this while her heart secretly wanted to see Rey at the same time her mind refused. She was scared and shattered since their last meeting, it was awful and she was heartbroken, thinking about the same killing her completely from inside. If that was her situation then Rey would be worse, thought Swayam predicting every single expression from her eyes and the continuous change in the behaviour and body language.
He danced on the central dance floor while he also kept an eye on her from a distance. In between Swayam's dance he felt Sharon around, 'Well it won't be surprising to see St. Louis' best dancer on this floor.' thought Swayam as his smile immediately turned into a wide grin. He blushed at the same time, which was noticed by Kriya from a distance. It delighted her heart to see Swayam fallen deep in love, while Sharon's body language said the same story even though her eyes tried to deny them. She was scarlet in no time, just a smile of his pumped your heart out 'how could you say you dont love him?' Sharon questioned her inner self. Swayam walked off from the dance floor towards Kriya while Sharon kept staring at his back.
Shortly her chain of thoughts were chucked out of her, as soon as she saw a glimpse of Kriya. 'OMG!', she exclaimed trying to hold on to her excitement. First, she thought she was dreaming but soon she understood it was her i.e. KRIYA..
She stopped midway thinking about sharing the bestest news to her best buddy of all, Rey. She immediately called Rey and was about to share her experience but Swayam shut her mouth with his hand. She stared at him intently and he nodded a no signalling her not to do what she was going to. On the other end Rey picked up his phone and spoke, he kept on repeating hello Sharon, Sharon you there?, but there was no reply. Swayam and Sharon shared a very long eye lock. Where only eyes could express what words couldn't. Their love was always silent yet with so much intensity and the love they felt and shared was beyond words, even beyond sea... It was hard to reach to the point where their loved would take a break but there was no end as it was eternal.
Kriya thought how deep Swaron's love was, she had moist eyes when she indirectly compared thier love to hers, Kriyaansh. 'Stop it Kriya' ordered her brain. She forced on a smile while she fixed her moist eyes 'Sharon' she called out breaking Swaron's eye lock. Sharon walked up to Kriya greeted her and inquired about her ankle, while Kriya explained about her childish excitement that ended up into a fracture. 'I want to dance today but I cant , you see' said Kriya mocking herself but Swayam heard her words from a distance.
They had a comfortable chat , after all they were meeting each other after few months, Sharon informed her about Rey indirectly. While Kriya accepted the fact that she was rude to him before she left and now she wasn't ready to face him whatsoever. Sharon promised not to tell Rey as Kriya forced her to do so.
Sharon smiled inwardly and Kriya forced a smile on her face, they hugged and soon parted. After few minutes of chatting Sharon went back on dance floor as she couldn't resist showcasing her talent. Swayam watched her from a distance as she leaped towards the stage to fulfil her passion, Kriya noticed the eagerness in his eyes and she insisted Swayam to leave her and enjoy himself.
Kriya's heart had dropped to her gut in a matter of a second; the reason was unknown to her. Her heart started beating faster than usual, she frantically looked around but found no-one. Kriya had a weird feeling of a pair of eyes looking at her intently but she had no idea from where they were looking, as there were thousands of people around and she was resting herself on the Reserved Couch. Kriya could feel her blood pumping in and out, up and down faster than usual. She got up from the couch gripping tightly on the crutches that were her only guide. She silently winced in pain 'Aaaouuchh' she gripped the crutches tighter, the blood drained from her palms due to the tightening grip. She crutched her way out of the party hall. Under the dark sky, she stood sightly unbalanced yet complaining to the stars above her.
She almost tripped because of her unbalanced leg 'Uff! ye fracture' she cursed herself in between but soon a pair of strong arms enveloped her lean figure. He was wearing a hood, but his cologne was strong and somehow familiar to her. 'Pagal! kitne ladke hai jo ek hi cologne, ek hi perfume use karte hai' she taunted her conscience silently.
The hooded guy didn't say anything, he just held her firmly, guiding her to the bench nearby. Kriya sat there comfortably but as soon as she turned around to thank 'HIM' he was vanished in thin air. Shortly she checked her watch and there was only a few seconds left for the church bells to hit twelve. For the fireworks to light up the dark sky. She smiled and held her crutches quickly and crutched inside to wish Swaron as they were her only friends around.
She tried limping her way through but the crowd didn't moved nor could she. Cursing herself under her breath, in her excitementshe missed a step and almost tripped over, the crutches slipped away which resulted in an immediate painful sensation in her arms.'Omg' she exclaimed in fear. Soon the hooded guy held her from the front, with his hood still on. Her eyes meet his, she gasped suddenly her eyes had immediately welled up. She lowered her gaze while he looked intently at her.
'Thank you, I mean I'm sorry for everything' she said softly. His eye brows arched as she had recognized him. 'Ma'am you remember me?' he said mockingly. 'I'm sorry Rey' apologized Kriya as a stream of hot tears made their way down her pale cheeks. Reyaansh loosened his grip from her arm, slightly pushing her. She lost her balance immediately thumping backwards on the ground. DJ stopped the music as he announced only two seconds left to welcome the New Year. Rey had walked off but when he turned around he saw Kriya's elbow bleeding. He ran to her, cursing himself and his fate. How could I do this to her, he stressed his brain clenching his teeth.
'I'm sorry I shouldn't have done this' apologized Rey as he helped Kriya up. She nodded as she continued shortly 'I deserve this, maybe more, but please forgive me' said Kriya sobbing, she continued again 'I just can't live with this guilt all my life, please' she pleaded. Her eyes followed Rey's hands to his face, his eyes were moist. He had a smile glued to his lips while his eyes were moist with love, apology, pain and guilt in a corner.
Before Kriya could say anything Rey hugged her. This was when the fellow attendees were counting down the time. Kriyaansh could only hear each other's words, the count down, Kriya's cell nothing was audible to them.
Kriya parted the hug, looked straight into Rey's eyes 'Rey, main aapse kuch kehna chahti hoon' while Rey probed her to continue. 'Woh main aapse' she stopped as Rey's eyes stared at her intently expressing his happiness. Kriya's cheeks were scarlet red, she immediately lowered her gaze elbowing him slowly. Rey hugged her lightly and twirled her around in his arms, that's when the crowd noticed them being there. Everyone around wished each other but nothing seem to bother Kriyaansh as they were in their own little world.
The DJ played a romantic number as there were more couples than single onlookers cum dancers.

Kriyaansh were the centre of attraction since the clock struck 12'o clock. They danced slowly in each other's arms. Without letting her touch the ground as she had plaster on her foot. Yet she danced just the way she wanted to, in those pair of arms that would be there for her forever. A pair of arms that wouldn't let go of her even if she wanted to. An unbreakable trust that had built inside them over the last few months of separation was evident. Their love blossomed like it never did before; it was showcased in a way that could never be expressed. Before the crowd broke their trance they ended up hugging each other tightly, with Kriya's arms resting on Rey's neck tightly gripped. Rey's arms held Kriya tight and close to his chest.
Swaron watched on to the couple from a distance, they looked at each other and then Kriyaansh simultaneously, eventually their hands encircled on its own. They shortly hugged each other with Swayam kissing Sharon's forehead and Rey pressing his lips onto Kriya's at the same time.
