"God who the hell does he think he is? He can't just walk into our lives again with his son and act like he owns the place!"

"Chote, just ignore them!"

"Di how can I when they're right in front of my face!"

"I know its hard chote. But this is something we have to do. But one thing chote, I really respect you for what you said about Anaamika aunty."

"Di, to be honest with you, I honestly have nothing against her. Like how he lied to our mother, he lied to that poor woman as well. I don't think she would have got into a relationship with a married man if she knew."

"Chote, you really are such a gentleman."

"Where's Khushi?"

"She was talking to Payal in our room."

"Well you go to her and give her some time. It's been a long day for all of us and you need some rest."

On the way back to his room, Arnav was passing the storeroom, the one that had been his mother's bedroom at some point. He walked in and looked at the large portrait of his mother.

"Mom, you saw what happened today. What do I do? Because of him, you're not here with me today. Because of him you cant see my wife, see how happy I am and be a part of it. I wish I could bring you back, but no matter what I cant. I wish like everything else I could just bring you back with my money, but I cant. I need you mom."

He turned his back and looked around the room. He opened up a photo album. This one was one he hadn't looked at in years. He opened it and flicked through the pages. An envelope fell from the album. He put the album aside and picked the envelope up. It was no longer white but had a creamy yellow tone to it. Arnav opened it.

"My Dear Chote. How are you? I'm sure you're no longer a 14 year old. You might be wondering what this is. Chote this is my last letter to you. I'm sure, when you read this, I would have been out of your life for years. I know you well enough; the album I put this letter in is one you would never look at unless something huge had happened. Arnav, my little prince, please read what I am writing carefully and try to understand me. My life is a mess; your father loves another woman and no longer wants to be with me. I know I should be strong for you and Anjali, but I can't do it. I am sure one day you will find true love and you will understand my feelings. I can't live without your father chote, hence why I have decided to end my life. I know I seem to be horrid and self centred. But I cant live like this. Chote but never forget this, I love you and Anjali more than anything. Arnav but one thing, please never blame Anaamika. She didn't know that your father was married and that we had you and Anjali. In fact I know her distantly through some of my friends. She's very nice. Chote take care of yourself and your sister. Make sure you live your lives to the fullest and never grieve over me. I am always watching you. Love you always your Ma."

Arnav grabbed hold of the letter and rushed to Khushi.

"Arnav where have you been?"

"Khushi look at this!"

He passed the letter to Khushi. Khushi gave Arnav a quizzical look but read it any way.

"Goodness. Ma really did know you well. I mean you pick this letter up today, the day your father comes back."

"Khushi what do we do now?"

"What do you mean?"

"Ma wanted me to do something, that's why she left this letter!"

"I don't know. What can we do?"

"We have to find Anaamika aunty! I'm telling you, something's happened that's why he's here."

"But how are you going to find her? You could ask Armaan, but I doubt he would tell you anything."

"Khushi, you are forgetting your husband is Arnav Singh Raizada. Finding a woman is nothing for me."

"But even if we find her what do we do?"

"Khushi like I said, something has happened, that's why he's here. And I have a feeling Anaamika aunty can help us bring him down."

"Ok, ok. Enough of this almighty ASR talk. I know this is huge for you, but I am your newly wedded wife, don't you want to spend some time with me?"

Arnav moved closer to Khushi and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Is someone jealous that my problematic father is getting more attention that you?"

"Maybe just a little bit."

Arnav placed his lips on Khushi's and kissed her. Khushi wrapped her slender arms around his neck and pressed her lips fully onto his. She kissed him with a new found passion that seemed alien to both of them, not just her. Arnav caressed her bottom lip with his tongue causing her to open her mouth, granting him entry. Arnav devoured Khushi's mouth like the hungry animal he was. Khushi mimicked what he was doing. When the kiss broke due to the need of air. Arnav sat Khushi down on the bed and began unbuttoning his waistcoat. Khushi looked up at him and blushed profusely.

"What's wrong with you. Its like you've never seen me undress before."

"I have. But I prefer it when I undress you."

Khushi got up and hurriedly unbuttoned his shirt, while Arnav undid the dori of her dress. Arnav crashed his lips onto Khushi's again. They grabbed whatever piece of clothing they could and removed it off the body of their lover. Arnav pulled down Khushi's shelwar and panties whilst Khushi did the same with Arnav's trousers and boxers. Arnav lifted Khushi into his arms and then took her down onto the bed.
