He was pacing to and fro in their room, trying to find the best possible way for going ahead with their annulment. If only he could remember; he had read once in a newspaper and seen enough movies to know about the procedure for an annulment. But right now, his mind was drawing a blank. He couldn't, for the love of God remember how to proceed. 'Think Arnav, think!' he admonished himself. He took a deep breath and decided to think about it calmly. It was then that he saw Khushi fiddling with his ring. 'Shit!' he swore, seeing the ring brought back many more memories of what lay back in India. "Umm, Khushi can I have my ring back?" Arnav asked, at the same time searching for her ring which he had placed in his pocket sometime during last night. "Sure" she replied, taking the slightly oversized ring out of her ring finger. She took some time to admire the plain gold band with a single stone set at its centre. "Nice ring; it's something a person would want for his engagement." Hearing this, Arnav gave a sardonic smile before replying, "You're right about that; it is my engagement ring."
