Maan after speaking with Yash was so worried about Geet.He couldnot help himself as the tras rolled down from his eyes.He called adi and asked him to cancel all the meetings for the day and entered a room which is inside his cabin in tne KC.
After the death of Snjay and Sonia Rano and Mohinder handled both Khurana nad handa industries.Since the project would go hand in hand with both industries it wasnot that difficult for them to handle both.Afte Maan completed his UG and joined MBA,Mohinder made him come to KC in morning and evening so that he could learn the business.
As such Mohinder had planned Mann quickly grabbed the idea of business.When he was given the MD post for Kc mohinder was too overjoyed to see Maan in this position.He felt that maan was exact replica opf snajay in handling the business.nothing changed in the Khurana nad handa industries relation even after Maan took up the business.For whatever Construction KC would take up Handa industry would design the interior.
It was after he had become MD he made this spl room inside his cabin and had a Photo of his family members.Especially his mom and dad's photo.Whenever he was confused he would come here .It would make him feel light at heart.Now this room also had rano and Mohinder pictures.
He came towards the photo where the most important ladies of his life was there.the photo had daadi sitting in middle with Sonia in the right and Rano in the left.Sonia had the baby Geet in her lap and Rano held baby Annie in her arms.It was his fav pic.
He touched the image of Sonia in the frame tears started rolling down in his eyes.
"Why mom?why everything happens to me?whoever I love in my life never stays with me for long?i loved you and papa a lot and u died in the car accident and next Rano mamma and mohinder papa they also left me.now Geetu ma..I cannot take easily if anything happens to her.I will die ma..I couldnot hold the indifference she shows.You know na how much she speaks but she is not uttered a wprd to me in two months.atleast to daadi and annie she is speaking a few words.but not even a single word to me.i cannot take this ma.I just feel like to run into your arms and be there with you.How many days my GEETU is going to be this way.I recovered soon when u left me,it's mainly due to her presence maa.She was there with me.I thought I got you In the form of her.but after Rano maa's death she didn't say a word.i want the same Geetu who comforted me when you were not there.Please maa and maama you both make her my old Geetu .please get her soon to me as my Geetu.I plead you."
Saying those things Maan collapsed on the couch in that room.He soon drifted to sleep due to the tiredness and his outburst.Call on his mobile made him wake up from the sleep he had after months.
He wa suddenly tensed again to see who was on other side.It was Sameera Malhotra.She was his classmate in MBA.He never liked her bcos of her attitude ,greedy behavior and more than that she will make Geet tensed very easily by throwing herself on him.She had always thrown herself on him.Now after college when Mr.Malhotra came to him on the pretext of constructing a new building for his office this headache accompanied him.
He never accepted the proj at first because Malhotra who was into interior designing said that the interiors for the building will be done by Sameera and not by Handa industries.But after the peruasion from Mohinder Maan accepted this proj.This was the only proj that Khurana and Handa industries are not working together.
"What do you want Sameera?" he asked slightly irritated.
"Hi Maan,just thought could catch up what' s happening around us.Are you free for lunch tomorrow" said sameera in a flirtious tone.
"No I have got better jobs to be done."
"Oh Maan this is purely professional.i want to discuss on our proj" said sameera hoping that he would agree.
"Then ok.Meet me in my office.But no lunch."
"Maan stop fussing around.I am not going to do anything to you.And moreover Geet will not be there to screw your head when she sees you with me.Its truly professional.We will meet tomorrow at lunch" with that she hung up.
Argh why the HELL she is making everything hard for me.That B****h is upto something.am sure of that.Everytime she makes something to make GEet yell at me.Now also she will have some plan up on her sleeves.Stop over reacting Mann this time Geet is not going to be around.Its truly professional.so be calm.Maan reassured himself.
Maan retired to KM.This was a hectic day.Tomorrow he had a line of meetings.First in the morning he have to sign a big deal and then meeting with Sameera and then he had got 4 meetings.So he thought he could rest a little.The same sight welcomed him.Geet was sleeping in the couch in the living room.
She was having her jhead on Annie's lap and holding her dress as if that means a lot to her.He took Geet in his arms and took her to her room.he placed a kiss on her forehead and came down for his dinner.
After having his dinner he spoke to Daadi and annie about the call by Yash and discussed on the upcoming Pooja in the home.HE wanted a social gathering in his house soon so that they could sense Geet's behavior.
"Daadi arrange for the pooja day after tomorrow itself.We will see whether Geet is geeting socialized or not."
"Bhai,can I call my friends?"
"No Annie.No need.If she didn't respond then your friends will feel low.Let Daadi call her friends."
"Oki beta.I'll see to that.you don't worry."
"Daadi I'll go to bed now.Got lot of meetings tomorrow"
"Good night Chottu."
"Daadi please don't call me that way it reminds me of Rano maama.Please Daadi."
"ok Maan I'll never call you that way.Now go to bed.Annie you also sleep.Good night"
With that everyone gone to their room.
Maan was working on the last minute details of next day's deal.While doing that an envelope had fallen from his cupboard of files.He recognized it to be the letter that Mohinder papa had given him on the fateful day of their accident.He cannot label that day to be a fateful one because it was on that day the elders decided to get them married.He was pushed back to that day.
FLASBACK:
Daadi Maan and Annie gone to HAnda Haveli to ask for the hands of Geet.
"Arrey what a surprise .Everyone is here. Chottu come I have made your favourite pasta..Annie,Geet is in her room. Get her down.
"Ji ma.Is she awake?"
"Ya beta now oly she woke up after her tantrums."
Annie fled to Geet's room.Maan was having Pasta fro his Muma's hand.Daadi and Mohinder was discussing about the marriage as it was elders plan to push both Maan and Geet in the line of marriage.Maan had completed his MBA and geet and Annie completed their B.arch course.So now the elders thought to get Geet and Maan married.
"Hi daadi.Good morning" screamed Geet from the top of the stairs and ran into Daadi's arm.
"She is my Daadi,not yours" screamed Maan.
"Even she is my Daadi."
"Enough both of you now stop this drama.Don't you have anything else to do other than fighting."
"Then ok am not fighting.Annie come as you said lets go for Sky Fall movie.I heard its too good."
"Geet but Daadi wanted to speak with you."
"Oh ho Daadi am all available.So say Daadi what you wanted to speak?"
"Now stop this cheesy talk.Yourspoiling my Sister taking her to all the movies and having butter talk with Daadi."
"Maan beta now your zipping up your mouth no words against my Would be Bahu of Khurana Kandan."
Both MAan and Geet were shocked.Ofcourse it was what both had been expecting.But a sudden talk sent shivers run down on both of their spine.
Geet ran and stood behind Rano.She was all red now.She hided her face using her hands.
Maan was spellbounded to see blushing geet.He now wanted to make her fume.How much he loved to see that angry golgappa face of her.
"Par Dadi,How can I marry Geet.?I cannot marry that fightercock.See she always fights with me."
Everyone was shocked but relived as soon as they saw maan winking.
"Am in love with someone else."
Geet had tears in her eyes.She never expected that maan would deny to marry her.no one expected that Geet would cry all wee expecting to have a great fight from Geet,
As soon as Maan saw geet crying he said"Geetu don't cry.I'll marry you for Daadi's sake."
He said with a serious tone.Geet tears seemed no way tostop.Maan mentally scolded himself and said
"Geetu I was joking look at me.Am all ready to marry you.Only you."
"No you idiot you go you said your not gonna marry me right?Am not gonna talk with you.You don't Love me na?"
Maan was now caught.She will demand the thinga and he has to buy it t bring back a smile.
"No dear.listen I was joking I just wished to see you angry.but you are a cry baby..Now see this ring I had got it for you.Lets get exchanged now itself." He took a ring which he was having in his packet for years to propose her.
This made geet's tear to stop and she was again red.Noelders expected this.Annie hugged Geet out of happiness.
"Maan we will get engaged in front of Yash bhai.He will come home as a successful business man from London by that time we will get engaged.ok?"
"Sure Geetu."
When they were about to retire to KM mohinder gave maan that letter and asked to read when he felt something goes wrong.Maan did not understand anything but got that letter with him and placed it in his cupboard.
