Nice Jaya I liked the way they both have expressed their feelings. The separation will only prove whether the feelings are just mere attraction or first pangs of true love. Too soon describe in words what exactly they feel. 😊

They were planning to leave in the evening.

He finished with the remaining patients,

He knew Shyla will be returning from college in the evening only.

[HOPE I CAN MEET HER BEFORE WE LEAVE]

Nandu had done all the packing, Adrit freshened up and soon they were on the road.

As they reached the main road, he could see a bus coming their way.

Nandu can you slow down please, he said.

Tarun and Vishak were off the bus even before it stopped, followed by a whole bunch chattering laughing kids and girls.

Last one to get off was Shyla.

His eyes went warm and smile tugged on his lips.

Naren was already rolling down the window and calling out.

She looked surprised and came towards them,

''We are on our way to Mumbai, we should be back in a week or so.

Want anything from there?

Her eyes moved towards Adrit'

Chocolates, that was Tarun, trying to peek into the car.

Di loves chocolates, he got a glare for his efforts.

Adrit wanted to say something, but he just smiled at her.

She smiled back, bye take care she said, stepping away from car.

She stood watching as the car moved away. Adrit turned around and waved

She stood there feeling a sense of emptiness.

It was a really long drive, but both Naren and Adrit loved it.

Nandu was driving and the friends had a shut eye.

His knuckles grazed her cheeks.

Fingers pushed a stray strand of hair behind her ears.

Adrit woke up.

He shut his eyes again trying to sleep.

Shyla floated back into view.

Naren smiled with his eyes closed.

He could feel his friend struggle with his feelings.

Both Adrit and Naren got busy with their work. Meetings, paper work, supplies.

After more than a week they were both relaxing in Adrit's flat.

They were waiting for Ridhima, Naren's fiance.

Naren got up, I will better check the chicken.

Don't want to serve a burnt bird for my lovely bird.

Adrit laughed. Naren loved to cook, especially for Ridhi.

He looked towards the sea,

He had been busy, but his thoughts had constantly connected with Shyla.

[NA MUMBAI HAD NOT DIMINISHED ANY OF HIS FEELINGS]

The door bell rang.

It was Ridhi, lovable , sweet and completely in love with Naren.

He got a huge hug as soon as she entered.

Adi ..not one email, not one call, I am not talking to you!!

Where are books that you had promised you will pick up for me?

Adrit grinned and waited for her to calm down, which did not seem to be happening.

She continued, Where is that Naren, he was supposed to have picked up a dress from the tailor, I am sure he has'' she trailed off she got swept off her feet by Naren.

Soon the two were in their own world.

Adrit cleared his throat,

You know the two of you could use the guest room..

Both of them turned towards him, still hugging each other.

Naren whispered something in her ears.

Ohhh , really, her eyes wide and teasing.

Let me look she said,

She came and sat next to Adrit, her chin cupped in her palm and looked into his eyes.

She looked back at Naren.

Yes all Mooney.. she giggled.

Who is it?? Who is it?? pumping Adrit's hand up and down.

Who is what ? Asked Adrit innocently?

The one who is making you Mooney eyed.. she said.

Naren..what did you tell her, Adrit demanded.

Nothing much.. lets eat , I don't want my Chicken getting cold.

Amidst lots of laughter, chattering and teasing, the Chicken got wiped out.

Adrit decided to sit in the balcony to give the love birds their privacy.

[HE MISSED SHYLA]

He wanted to be back near her.

Naren and Ridhi watched him.

He is in love, they both sighed.

Got a pic asked Ridhi,

Naren took out his mobile and showed her the one he had taken on the boat.

Awww went Ridhi, she is lovely.

She looks young.

Yes still in college, Naren grinned.

Well, she has had a sheltered life, never met anyone like Adrit before.

Naren you should talk to Adrit about this.

Dr.A was waving , she waved back, smiling.

Thankfully she was saved by the bell.

As they trooped out to go home,Viji and some her close friends laughed out loudly .Who were you waving at Shylu darling, they teased, leaving her blushing.

Who is it? asked Viji as soon as they got into the bus.

Viji I don't know what to do' her eyes filled with anxiety.

Awww I miss both and love this update. So they are already on the road of love. Naren is a very sweet romantic full of life kind of guy someone whom u like instantly. Adrit is shy and reserved just like Dimplekumar
