And then they told each other everything…
Every truth about Shyam, his betrayal, his evil deeds.
Arnav and Khushi walked to the mandap where Payal and Akash were waiting for them to take the pheras.
Everyone heaved sighs of relief as they saw the two except for Shyam who twitched his nose (Eternal twitching nose) in anger, seeing them together.
Anjali quickly walked to Arnav, hugged him and cupped his left cheek, saying, "Chottey, where were you? We were so worried! You disappeared, alone and…"
Arnav cut her, "Di, I'm fine…"
He glanced at Khushi and slightly smiled before whispering to Anjali, "I was not alone Di."
Khushi blushed and the worry on Anjali's face was quickly replaced by a mischievous smile.
Arnav looked at his happy sister and thought, "Her smile will vanish when she learns about Shyam... Why has Shyam betrayed her? Why dammit? But it's enough now. I can't keep her in the darkness anymore."
Arnav said, "Di… I am sorry. There is a bitter truth which has to be revealed to you. And just remember… We, your family members will all always be with you… Always."
Shivers run along Shyam's spine. Khushi handed Arnav an envelope which was given to Anjali.
As she opened the envelope, she saw photographs.
She stared at them for long…
Nani, mami, mama and NK looked at the photographs, standing behind Anjali. Everyone had shocked expressions.
Tears rolled down Anjali's cheeks and she walked steps backwards faultily.
The photographs of Shyam-Khushi engagement! Anjali dropped them down.
Shyam saw the pictures and quickly walked towards her, feeling anxious.
NK stopped him (In Dadi style) and held Anjali's shoulders.
Arnav and Khushi then revealed everything about Shyam being a paying guest, the engagement with Khushi, his betrayal to Anjali.
Anjali listened quietly...
Unexpectedly, she walked to Shyam and slapped him hard multiple times. She blasted at him and cried her heart out.
Shyam tried to find excuses but Buaji, Payal and Garima supported Arnav and Khushi.
Arnav held Shyam by the collar and threw him out of the house where the police were already waiting.
Arnav ran to Anjali and asked if she was okay.
She wiped her tears and said, "I know this is going to be hard but I will move on. It is high time I stop being dependent. That liar betrayed me… I have been a fool. But now… I will be strong and face the reality."
She smiled and said, "If my family is with me, I don't need anyone else."
Arnav went to her and hugged her. He said, "Di... I am really proud of you. And if mom had been here, she would have been so too..."
Everybody felt better and relieved.
They felt happy that there was nothing bad in their home anymore…
The pandit reminded, "Naniji, the auspicious hour is passing by. The pheras should start."
Payal and Akash looked at each other and smiled shyly.
They had been waiting for this moment since long and were longing to be with each other…
The pheras started and happiness reflected on everyone's faces.
Arnav looked beside him at his left and saw Khushi excitedly throwing flowers on her sister and brother-in-law.
She looked so beautiful…
He smiled and started throwing flowers on her.
She looked at him, pleasantly surprised. She smiled and looked into his eyes lovingly…
She slid her hand in his and they entwined their fingers…
As Akash and Payal became husband and wife, everyone cheered happily.
The newly married couple sought blessings from the elders.
Everyone started hugging each other.
After hugging her sister and teasing her, Khushi saw Arnav in a quiet and discreet corner… If she had not had sharp eyes, she would have never seen him. She walked to him and hugged him.
Arnav hugged her back, smiled mischievously and whispered in her ear, "Hadn't it been for your stupid, yet effective plan, this marriage wouldn't have happened today. Congrats… "
Khushi giggled, stroked his hair and said, "Same to you partner... My stupid yet effective plan would not have been successful without your help. We did this together. Thank you for supporting me."
She kissed his cheek tenderly and let her lips loiter on his cheek till his neck. Arnav closed his eyes and hugged her tighter…
He murmured, "I love you Khushi…"
She closed her eyes and got lost in his arms… She felt like the happiest person in the world. Arnav Singh Raizada was hers.
Oh… how she loved the fact that he loved her too and that he was only hers… He inhaled in his musky scent and shivered in pleasure.
She smiled and broke from him to run away.
But he held her waist, swung her around and pushed her against the wall, pinning her to it. She was almost off to the ground, close to his body…
They were inches apart, breathing heavily. They could feel each other's breaths on their lips…
Her hands were on his shoulders and her lips were trembling… They stayed in that position for what seemed like forever…
He murmured, "Khushi… Kiss me."
Her eyes snapped open. She looked away.
At her reaction, Arnav felt saddened. He clasped his eyes and released his tight grip on her waist… He let her slide down his body. He took two steps backwards and re opened his eyes.
She looked at him, confused. Hurt was clearly reflecting in his eyes.
He turned to go but Khushi grabbed his neck and pulled him towards her, smashing his lips on hers.
He was shocked by this boldness but closed his eyes and let her kiss him. Her lips were pillowy soft and velvety. She broke the kiss after a while.
They opened their eyes and looked at each other. His lips were on fire.
He approached her and sucked her lower lip. He licked her lips, learning her shape and taste. Khushi on her side was going crazy. Adrenaline rushed through her veins. He bit her lip and as she gasped, he plunged his tongue in her mouth.
She sucked his tongue and let him explore her mouth. God, her man tasted delicious. She was enjoying their kiss a lot… She loved him so much…
Their tongues clashed and their hands battled to explore each other's bodies.
Arnav's hands went to her breasts and flicked her nipples.
She then got a feeling that she had never got before…
She wanted to feel Arnav in her arms, feel his body on hers… She had an urge to feel his lips on her all night and wanted to be alone with him…
Only him and her…
She wanted to feel closer to him; she wanted them to be one. She felt her body ache for this.
She caressed his face and continued kissing him passionately.
After a few minutes, they broke their kiss with a thin string of saliva linking their mouths.
Both were panting and gasped for oxygen. They looked in each other's darkened eyes, flared with desire.
Arnav cupped her face and placed a hot and delicious kiss on her lips which made her feel dizzy and make her want more.
She softly moaned and Arnav loved her reaction.
He approached her and she closed her eyes…
And…
"AREY SANKA DEVI! Where are you? Come and eat!" shouted Buaji.
Without thinking, Khushi shouted, "Ohfo Buaji! I am already eating!" and immediately put her hand on her mouth, her eyes wide open!
Buaji and Arnav spoke at the same time! Arnav said, "What the…" and Buaji shouted, "What??"
Arnav looked at her with a shocked and amused expression. His eyes brimmed with mischief. He softly spoke, "And… Do you like what you are eating Khushi Kumari Gupta?" She looked at him and gulped nervously. A sexy smirk curved on his lips which made Khushi get wild thoughts.
Before she would completely lost control and kiss him senseless, she moved away.
Arnav pouted and looked away, annoyed.
She turned back and giggled at his reaction. Tempted by that cute pout, she walked to him without making any noise, quickly pecked his lips and ran away.
Arnav was shocked by her sudden action and smiled, touching his lips…
Everyone went to have dinner.
Her thaal of food in her hand, Khushi's eyes were looking for Arnav. She had not seen him for dinner…
She walked to his room and entered it. She saw him coming from the poolside and she smiled… But he looked strange. His eyes were half-closed and it looked like he was about to faint.
Khushi's smile vanished and she quickly put her thaal on a table.
He whispered weakly, "Khushi…"
She thought, "Hey Devi Maiyya! It looks like his sugar level is low!" She panicked, ran to him and held his shoulders. He held her for support.
She made him sit on the bed and fed him a piece of jalebi from her thaal. She embraced him, let him rest on her shoulder and closed her eyes.
After some time, he seemed better. He woke up and looked at Khushi. She caressed his face and whispered, "Are you okay Arnavji?"
He nodded and slightly smiled.
She continued, "You should eat now."
She fed him a piece of paratha and wiped the food near his mouth. He broke a piece of paratha from the thaal but Khushi said, "No Arnavji. Let me do it. I…"
But she couldn't complete her sentence as Arnav put the piece of paratha in her mouth. She smiled…
They kept feeding each other while looking in each other's eyes.
Eating from the same thaal made them feel closer to each other.
After eating, she gently scolded him, "I am sure you forgot to take your medicines. Don't be careless Arnavji… Please take care of yourself. If anything had happens to you, I will not be able to live."
He looked at her and said, "You love me so much?"
She held his hands and replied, "More than anything… Even more than jalebi…"
He realized what she had said and laughed.
She looked at him, mesmerized… He looked so hilarious and handsome when he laughed. She burst out into pearls of laughter and seeing this, Arnav asked, "What happened?"
Khushi who was still laughing said, "It is so strange to see you laugh like this. But it feels good too. "
Arnav said, "You have taught me how to smile Khushi… You have brought khushi (happiness) in my life…"
She looked in his eyes and saw an ocean of love for her… He pulled her to him and hugged her tightly. She hugged him back and they broke after some seconds.
Arnav whispered, "I'm sorry Khushi…"
Khushi frowned, "Why are you apologizing Arnavji?"
Arnav bowed his head down and, in a broken voice, said, "For every single time I have hurt you… I… Each time I do so, I feel a thousand times worse. I don't know how to put all this into words… I am sorry for everything."
Khushi, tears filled in her eyes, put her finger on his mouth and shushed him.
She cupped his face and caressed his cheeks with her thumbs.
She tenderly murmured, "You don't need to say anything Arnavji…"
Tears filled Arnav's eyes and he asked, "I can't understand how you fell in love with someone like me. I have caused you so much pain and insulted you so many times and…"
Khushi cut him, "Love doesn't need any reason Arnavji… It just happens…"
She closed her eyes, approached him and kissed his forehead, his eyes and his cheek… Her lips lingered on his cheek till she finally kissed his lips gently.
He felt relieved and his heart was filled with love as she soothed him with her kiss… He closed his eyes in both bliss and sadness… He held her waist, pulled her against him and kissed her back…
Their tears mingled together…
Khushi whispered against Arnav's soft lips, "I love you Arnavji… I will always be with you… Always…"
And they kissed again…
