Chapter # 2
Swayam called his assistant in his office and ask her to bring him a large cup of coffee with extra cream.He loves coffees when he works he rather drinks dozen of it in a very short time.His assistant was more of a coffee maker for him than his helper.
She made a coffee and bring it to Swayam.He smiled nicely towards him and sipped his coffee.He asked her to sit in front of him as they were working on some important file which has to be submitted in a week,because of that he can get a very high amount of bonus to his company with a satisfying great contract.
A:Sir,your mom called me and ask me to convey her message to you that she really wants you to be there when they all will go to see the girl for you in evening! She said to him and saw his shocked expression.
Swayam was embarrassed and shocked on how can his mother tell these things to her assistant though he can really trust her assistant but still it was quite embarrassing for him to hear this from her.
Sw:I need to talk to my mother alone,you can take a leave for sometime! He said and grab his phone from the table to call his mom.Meanwhile his assistant went gone from his office.
Swayam mom picked the call and start raining him with billion questions.
M:Where are you swayam? Tum itne irresponsible kese ho sakhte ho..tumhe pata hai na ke hammai aaj tumhare liye larki dekhne jana hai tumhe abhi ghar pe hona chaiye tha..you got my message from your assistant? She said in one breath.
Sw:Breath mom breath! I am not coming as I have some very important work..aur jahan tak baat larki ki hai tu aaj aur dadi sa dekh aye na..wese bhi mujhe ap dono ki pasand se hi shadi karni hai'please mom don't force me main nahi asakhta..i am working on a very important project agr yeh contract mil gaya tu yeh hamari company ka ab tak ka sab se bara contract hoga..I really need to work hard to get this contract!
M:God,swayam kitna ajeeb lagega ke tum laki dekhne nahi jaonge..tum apna yeh kaam baad main nahi kar sakhte kya??
Sw:Agar kar sakhta tu kar leta baat main..please mom try and understand!?
M:Ok,I will manage here..but please dinner time pe le lena kyun ke shayad ghar pe nahi honge..aur aaj tu main teri shadi fix karke hi aungi..aur sath hi sath larki ki ek photo bhi laungi..dil lagate rehna uski photo dekh ke shadi tak! Cha lab kaam kar..bye! She said while giggling and cut the call.
Sw:God,mom bhi kitni filmy hain! He said and cut the call irritatingly.
Sharon on the other hand was on her way.She was late and could expect her mom calling her and scolding her anytime.She was nervous and frustrated.She never liked the idea of becoming a show piece for anyone.She felt like she was something weird so that every guy must have to come and check her out by himself.She hated it and hoped that today the guy do not come to see her.
She reached home and have a glass of orange juice.Her mom shouted on her that why is so late when she already told her that some family is coming to her tonight.
M:Sharon they will be here anytime..beta ja kai fresh hoja aur please tayar ho ja..mene tumhare liye dress niakl dia hai tere room mai hai..ab jaldi ja! Mujhe baat kaam hai..hey bhagwan itna sa time reh gaya hai who log kabhi bhi atai hunge..She said and continue doing her preparations.
Sharon entered her room and saw a beautiful baby pink color full Indian dress on her bed.It was simple yet classy.She freshened up herself and change herself I the dress,applying some kajal and lipgloss..and she was ready.She left her hairs open as always instructed by her mother that boys like open hairs of girls.
After few minutes her mom entered her room only to find Sharon in her deep thoughts but looking beautiful as a fairy directly landed on earth from fairyland.
M:Sharon? Beta tum ready ho na..larke wale kisi bhi time atai hi honge! She asked her in a motherly tone.
Sh:no response..
M:Sharon! She said in a little high picth.
Sh:Yeah? Jee mom..kuch kaha apne..sorry woh main kuch soch rahi thi! She said.
Her mom smiled and sit next to her,she placed her hand on her shoulder and gave her a warm smile.
M:Don't be tensed..i know larkiyan kaafi sharmati hain is time pe..but its ok..it is a part of a life,meri beti hai hi itni achi ke koi bhi use dekh ke pasand karlega..ab chalo main neeche ja rahi hai..tumhari friend aii hai..jab tumhe neeche ana hoga tu main use tumhe lene bhej dungi..She said and left the room.
Sh to herself: Mom..i know you are happy for me..but there is one more thing which is very important for me..my studies,aise kese beech main sab kuch choor dun main? Kuch kar Sharon..ajj tu tujhe himmat dekhani hi hogi..ajj nahi tu kabhi nahi! She said and take a deep breath to calm herself.
Raiparakash mansion's door bell ring,Sharon mom reached the door and greeted the family who was here to see Sharon.
Sh'M:I hope apko yahan anai kuch takleef na hui ho?
Dadi sa [Dd]
Dd: Arre nahi beta..sab theek raha..akhir apne bte ki liye larki dekhne ayen hain agr thori takleef ho bhi gai..tu chalega! She said and everyone giggles on her statement.
It's been almost half an hour that the both families were talking and discussing about their family background and business.Dadi sa was really impressed with Raipraksh's..and vice versa!
Sw'M:Arre hamari baton main hum apni beti se milna tu bhool hi gaye? App Sharon ko tu bulaye..!
Sharon's mom asked her friends to take her down.After few minutes Dadi sa and swayam's mom has a wide grin on her face as they saw a beautiful girl coming down from stairs..her walk was elegant..there eyes were stuck on Sharon.
Sh's m :yeh lain Sharon bhi agai..app beta!
Sharon came and touches their feet,swayam mom made her sit with her.
Sh's D:Arre,Swayam woh nahi aya?
Sw'm:Sorry asal main aaj uska ek bohat important project tha..koshish karne ke baad bhi who aaj aa nhi saka..i hope aap log bura nahi manenge? She said and smiled apologeticly.
Sh'D:Arre apka beta apne kaam ke upar itna focus hai..yeh sun ke bohat khushi hui..koi baat nahi abhi na sahi tu agai ja kae milenge use..
They kept talking for a long time.Swayam family was sure to make this rishta pakka today itself.They could not get anyone like Sharon as their Bahu.Even Sharon was talking with swayam's mom and dadi sa in betweens.they all were really comfortable now.
Dd:Hum tu yahan sirf larki dekhne aye thai..lekin ab hum rishta pakka kar ke hi jaynge..hamme Sharon bohat pasand ai hai..Bus aap haan karde hum jaldi se isse apni ghar ki bahu banana chahte hain!
Sharon's parents were happy that the family has chosen her final.Her dad did not wait a second and agreed to their decision.but before her dad could say yes,Sharon interrupted.
Sh:Main kuch bolna chahti hoon..She said while looking down at her hands.
Her mom and dad was confused on her sudden reaction.Where as dadi sa and swayam's mom was curious.
Sh:Aunty mujhe is shadi se koi problem nahi hai agar mom aur dad hank arte hain..but main..main shadi ke baad..baad apni studies complete karna chahti hoon! She said and looked at swayam family.
There was a pin drop silence in the hall.Sharon thought to mentally slap herself for asking such thing in this time.
Dadi sa smiled and looked at swayam' mom..who was smiling as well.
Dd:Bilkol kar sakhti ho apni parhaiye..yahan tak ke tumhari honai wali saas ne bhi shadi ke baad hamare haan apni parhaiye puri ki thi..Parhna achi baat hai aur hamme isse koi masla nahi hai beta..!
So,finally rishta was final in only one meet..offcourse Sharon can win anybody's heart even only in one sight than one meet was too much.
When they were going swayam's mom asked separately to sharon's mom if she can have a photo of Sharon.Sharon' mom gave them her photo.
The picture her mom gave to swayam's mom as one of the most beautiful pictures of Sharon.Her hairs were falling on face due to wind..she was wearing white churidaar in that picture with silver jhumkaas..without any makeup except tons of kajal in her eyes making her look angel..and she was laughing in that picture with her hand on her lips.The picture can steal anyone's heart.
They reached home and were very happy.Swayam's mom entered his room..only to find her workaholic son working on laptop half laying half sitting on bed.
Swayam smiled at her mom and continued his work.She came and sat next to him and ruffles his hairs.
Sw:Kya baat hai aaj meri piyari maa bohat khush hai? He said while smiling and looking at laptop.
M:Haan who tu hongi hi na..apne beta ka rishta jo pakka karke aai hoon!
Swayam looked at her in disbelieved and thought what is to disbelieve in this..since her mom and dadi sa can do anything and if they selected the girl in one meet that she must be good.
Sw:Oh,tu soli pe latka aai aap mujhe..He said and giggled on her mom's glaring eyes.
M:tujhe kuch batane ki zarorat nahi hai larki ke barai main..oho no teri hone wali wife ke barai main..photo dekh lena sab kuhd hi samjh jayega..ke kese hum ne ek hi meeting main use pasand kar liya! She said and leaves his room after pulling his cheeks and keeping the photo in envelope on his bed.
