Came across the thread for this story right now and read the last chapter. Pls give me the index for this entire work, i would like to read the same as C20 was really very interesting.

Yeah, it was difficult for her to choose exactly what was the right thing to do, but at the end of the day, if she's happy everyone around her will be happy as well. I really appreciate your patience :) She could have told him, and honestly that's what I was debating between a lot when I was writing the story, should she tell her parents, should she not? But I felt like at the end of the day, she knew she had to break it off with Anand and she was afraid that talking about it with any of her family would lead them to convincing her otherwise...and that's why she had to take the decision she did :)

Everyone needs parents like that, I think😆 But yes, I do think that everyone should get married when they feel they're ready, not because their mothers are afraid of them being spinsters or something of the sort. If you're not ready, you might not be happy, and there's no need to put yourself or anyone else in that situation. But thanks for reading and commenting!

Yeah, I think it was a relatively short update, but I felt like that was a good place to end the chapter because of the way the next chapter was set up and what was going to happen. More action? I don't think it's going to be too much, but it'll be progress, I promise :D

And I loved writing about this father daughter relationship because I know how much my relationship with my dad means to me, it really is the most precious thing in the world like you said! 😃

Yup, I think it would have been unbearable for Khushi if she had her entire family ganging up on her for breaking it off with Anand. Everyone needs a dad like Shashi! And next chapter in this thread, but hopefully we'll see the chapter after that in a new thread! 😉😆

Actually, as I was reading the update I could relate to it. Not that I have faced such a situation.

Just that if I were in one, my mom would have gone all emotional, hysterical, 'societal', etc. My father would have listened, understood and masked his disappointment.

I could read and know this is my family we are talking about.

Next time when you write a chapter neither let your PC eat it nor forget posting! Ok???

😆 I forgot for a while that we were in flashbacks and all of this was happening in the course of a day, but no worries, Arnav will be back with the next chapter, and will be present through the end now😉

I hope not too many people have to deal with something like this, but yeah, I felt like it was something very relatable for many people out there, and I'm glad you could connect with it! Having some kind of a real connection with a story always seems to make things better in my opinion😳

He realized that it was best to let them decide and come to this themselves rather than trying to force the situation.
