When Arnav comes back after attending the call,he finds both the families,esp. Khushi,waiting impatiently for him.

He recalls how he cupped her face & blew gently in her eyes.
Khushi(thinks): Hey Devi Maiyya! I dont know what Arnavji did that time? Y is he hesitating so much!
Arnav catches the look of embarassment on Khushi's face & smiles.
Arnav: Relax!
Khushi(shocked): Ji?
Arnav: I just.. removed ur hand from ur eye &.. blew in it. We kept lookin at each for a while. Suddenly u pushed my hand away. I thought.. may b u didnt like the fact that.. I touched u. So I turned to go,when u held my hand & stopped me. I didnt know what exactly u wanted from me? Just then u said.. *Flashback*
Khushi(cups his face): I wanna ask u something,Arnavji..
She holds his right hand & places it on her chest,a little to the left.
She looks at his hand & then looks him in the eye.
Khushi: Y does it happen this way? Whenever u're nearabout,my heartbeats start racing! I tried to reason many times,but I failed. (tearin up)I tried to forget u,but I couldnt.
Arnav feels sad upon seeing her eyes glistening with tears.
Khushi: Y does it happen this way?
In response,Arnav lovingly cupped her face.
Khushi: Tell me naa.. Y does it happen this way?
Arnav swallowed a lump even as Khushi continued wondering aloud.
Khushi: My heart beats faster than it ever did. I want to know,y?
Arnav didnt know how to answer the question.
He was baffled,shocked,happy that she loved him & sad to see her distressed.
Before he could answer,Khushi became unconscious.
Her limp body leaned against his hard,protective one.
Arnav wiped the lone tear that threatened to flow down his cheek.
He checked his emotions before scooping her up in his arms.
As he walked with her towards their room,his gait,his swagger,his eyes all screamed of confidence & a new found ray of hope.
*Flashback ends*
Khushi(shocked): I'm shocked! Its so... strange! And wierd! I said so many things to u but.. I dont remember a word now!
Arnav: I put u down on the poolside chair & started wiping the color off ur face. Meanwhile u gained consciousness. When u looked at me,tears started pooling in ur eyes. I told u..
*Flashback*
Arnav sees tears forming in Khushi's eyes and shakes his head.
Arnav: I'll tell u y that happens..
He takes her fragile hand in his & places it on his chest,to the left.
Then he inches his face a little closer to hers.
Arnav: When u're next to me,ur heartbeats mingle with my heartbeats. Our hearts beat as one. That is something which u feel,which I feel!
Khushi,who's satisfied with his reply,smiles.
Khushi: Our hearts?
Arnav(nods): Beat as one!
*Flashback ends*
Khushi: Then.. what happened next?
Arnav: We sat at the poolside for sometime before di called us to have lemon pickle. I wanted to stay next to u. I.. didnt want the moment to go. But..
He sighs audibly.
Khushi: What?
Arnav: We went downstairs,had the pickle & were back to r senses. Di had recorded some videos in her phone. We were dancing together in 1 of them. We both were embarassed upon seeing them.
Khushi: Yes, I remember that. Then I followed u to the room. I'd asked u,if u remember anything. But u lied to me! Y did u lie?
Arnav: Coz I thought that.. u remember everything but u're pretending as if u dont. I thought.. perhaps u're only attracted to me. U know.. u dont love me. May b u.. just hav a.. crush on me..
Khushi(confused): Crush?
Buaji: What is that,Nandkisore?
Anjali: Buaji,it means being attracted to someone. He thought that Chhoti doesnt love him. She's only attracted to him.

Buaji: Arnav cannot b blamed in this situation,Nandkisore!
Everyone is surprised to find buaji taking Arnav's side.
Paayal: U r sayin this,buaji?

He looked towards her,awestruck by her beauty.

Arnav looks towards Khushi to find her blushing.
The moment their eyes meet,she lowers her gaze.
Buaji: Now u tell me,who was attracted to whom? I think u were the 1 who was attracted to r Khusi! While u thought that it was love,in reality,it was only attraction!
Arnav: I admit,buaji,I was attracted to Khushi's beauty! But that doesnt mean that I didnt love her or that I was only attracted to her! I know that it was always love!

They look at each other & smile.

Mamaji(confused): What r u talkin about?

He stops sensing Aakash's awkwardness.
Arnav: Look Aakash,if some problems arise between the two of u bcoz of thyis issue,I'll feel like.. indirectly I'm responsible for it all.

Arnav: 1 minute,Khushi.
He hugs Aakash.
Arnav: Ya,now u can give this sharbat to him &.. come with me.
Khushi(surprised): Where?
Arnav(makes a face): Honalulu!
Khushi: What?
Arnav(holds her hand): Come.. Excuse us,Aakash.
Aakash(smiles): Sure bhai!
Arnav drags Khushi towards nani's room on the ground floor.
Khushi: Areh! Listen to me! naniji is in her room.
Arnav: I know!
Khushi: Hav ur Sharbat. And dont drag me like this,the sharbat is spilling out of the glass.. The floor's getting dirty (tries to free herself)Lemme go!
Arnav(holds her wrist tighter): Y?What work do u hav?
Khushi: I'm thirsty,I wanna hav the sharbat..
Khushi stops abruptly when nani opens the door of her bedroom.
Arnav leaves her wrist.
Nani: What is the matter,Chhoti bitiya?
Khushi(embarassed): a.. naniji..
Arnav: Nani,can v sit in ur room for 5 minutes? We need some privacy & there r way too many people outside. So..
Nani: Ya,sure!I was on my.. way out. U'll.. join me soon.

Arnav: Khushi.. (holds her hand)I'm sorry!
He kisses the red marks on her wrist.
Khushi closes her eyes & lets out a sigh.
Arnav: Can I say something?
Khushi opens her eyes to find him gazing at her with guilty,remorseful eyes.
Khushi(cups his cheek): Relax! I'm fine.
Arnav(holds both her hands): I know. I wanna say something..
Khushi: Yes. What is it?
Arnav: Next time,wen I tell u to come with me somewhere. plz.. agree. Dont disagree. Coz wen u say u dont wanna come along.. or u try to withdraw ur hand.. I feel like.. u're going away from me!.. Like u're.. leaving me..
Khushi(shocked): What? But Arnavji..
Arnav(interrupts): I know!.. I know.. that u would go to the lounge but.. I dunno what happens to me during such times? The more u tell me to leave u, the more I wont allow u to do so! And.. then.. (looks at her wrist) I end up.. doing all this.. and I hate it! I dont wanna hurt u.. but..
Khushi: But u cant see me going away from u.. Isnt it?
Arnav(nods): I guess.. Sorry Khushi! U must b thinking that I'm crazy! but.. what do I do? I'm like this!
Khushi: I know. And i like u the way u r!
She kisses his widow's peak.
Khushi: Now,its time u hav the sharbat. Then lets go outside. Everyone must b waiting for us.
Arnav(cups her face): 20 minutes r not over yet..
He tucks a loose tendril of her hair behind her right ear.
Khushi: Ya.. But.. Arnavji..
Arnav: Hmm?
He kisses her forehead.
Khushi: U.. must.. b thirsty. So..
Arnav(kisses the tip of her nose): So?
Khushi: Ssh.. shar.. bat..
Arnav inches his face closer & Khushi closes her eyes.
Arnav: I dont need sharbat. I need strength!
Khushi(opens her eyes): Ji?
Arnav(nods): Strength,encouragement,love,peace... Basically I need u!
Khushi(smiles): I'm right here!..
Arnav(smiles): Right!
He claims her lips,pulling her closer to himself.
Khushi feels his body relaxing against her own.
When she gently runs a hand over his back,Arnav sighs in her mouth.
Even after ending the kiss,they remain in each other's arms.
Arnav rests his forehead against Khushi's and admires the changing hues of her cheeks-from pink to red & red to crimson.
Khushi closes her eyes and relaxes as Arnav's breath fans her face.
They stay like that for a few minutes.
Khushi: Now,we must leave..
Arnav(nods): Hav the sharbat first..
He brings the glass of sherbet near her mouth.
Khushi: But this 1 is urs naa?
Arnav: So what? U wanted to hav sharbat ,right?so,hav this.
Khushi: I can hav it while sitting outside. U need to hav this. U must b tired n thirsty. Hav this..
Arnav: The moment we go outside,U'll turn into a bunch of nerves. U wont even b able to sit properly! How will u hav the sharbat? Hav it here..
Khushi: U cant stay without arguing with me,isnt it?
Arnav clicks his tongue & smiles.
Khushi: U finish half of it first & then I'll finish the rest..
Arnav: But Khushi..
Khushi(interrupts): Enough! U're not allowed to do as u plz everytime! Come on! Drink this..
Arnav: Okay!

Mamiji: Aakas bitwa,go & caal the lovebirds. Else they'll start making their lovenest in sasumaa's room whereas we all will keep sitting here, staring at each other's facewa!
Nani(chides): Manorama! dont talk rubbish! Give them some time..

Everyone turns their attention towards the couple,who enter the living room,holding hands.
Arnav: Hari Prakash...!
HP comes running from the kitchen.
HP: Yes Arnav bhaiyya?
Arnav: Fetch 2 chairs from the Dining room.
HP: Yes bhaiyya!
After HP brings the chairs,Arnav makes sit on one of them while he sits on the other,beside her.
Arnav: we're sorry to.. keep u waiting!
Nani: Doesnt matter! Go ahead..
Arnav: Unfortunately,things didnt go as per my plan. Khushi didnt accept the fact that she would hav to stay here for 6 months,as my wife.
He looks at Khushi & cocks an eyebrow.
Khushi: Actually.. (turns towards the family) I could think of only 1 way..
Nani: And what was that?
Khushi: a.. irritating Arnavji so much that he'd get tired of me &.. kick me outta the house!
Nani(shocked): What?
Khushi: I.. thought.. this was the best way to.. escape the wedding drama!
Arnav: And so,Khushi started irritating me. At times she would sneeze & sneeze & sneeze! Then she would start singing loudly. And wash clothes at the poolside! At other times she captured part of cupboard,bathroom & room & made them her own!
Khushi: Plz forgive me..
Arnav: No,no! Its okay. There must'nt b anyone else in this world,save for urself,bcoz of whom Arnav Singh Raizada had to sleep at the poolside!
Mamiji(shocked): Arnav bitwa,bhat r u tailing? (telling)
Arnav: U heard it right,mami. Khushi acted as if she'd had a cold &.. so I had to sleep at the poolside.

Khushi smiles proudly.

The smile is wiped off Khushi's face.
Arnav: I swear.. when I saw that Salman Khan poster.. I was totally enraged! I wanted to tear it into pieces!
Khushi: Enough!(makes a face) U dont need to say anything else!
Arnav: Yes,u did irritate me. But.. u also did stuff that made me very happy!
Khushi(wonders): Like?
Arnav: Like.. (smiles) using the handsfree,just like I do!.. Bringin home made lunch to the office.. And..
Khushi: What?
Arnav(turns towards family): When I came back from office one evening,I saw Khushi walking on the bed! She was giving instructions to some1 on the handsfree. (turns to Khushi) U said something which made me very happy!
Khushi: That I'm a halwaai's daughter & a businessman's wife?
Arnav: Ya! That one! How'd u know?
Khushi: No wonder that u smiled at me! Otherwise u never smiled at me! (pouts) U only yelled at me!
Arnav: Aww! I'm sorry!
Khushi: I'm also sorry! I left no stone unturned to irritate u!
Arnav: U need not say sorry,Khushi! U irritated me only coz I harassed & blackmailed u. Else u would never cause any harm to anyone,knowingly. I can say this for sure!
Khushi smiles at him.
Nani clears her throat loudly.
Mamiji: Looks like its time for birek no. 2,sasumaa!
Khushi: Mamiji,u must b hungry naa?
Mamiji: Naat aat aaall!
Khushi: I was thinking of frying some fritters..
Mamiji(excited): Bhy naat,phati saadee! Bhat is staaping u?
Khushi(to Arnav): U tell them the rest of the things meanwhile I'll get crispy,hot fritters for everyone.
Buaji: Aye Sanka devi! No need to go anywhere!R we watching a philam,that we'd need to hav food n drinks while watching it? Sit right here! The one who's hungry is quite capable of making arrangements to refill herself on her own!
Mamiji gets up,makes a face at the Guptas & birdwalks to the kitchen.
Khushi: But.. I could've helped mamiji..
Arnav: Khushi,HP is there naa. He'll help mami. u need to b here,coz u need to know whatever I'm about to say now.
Khushi: What is that?
Arnav glances towards the coffee table.Following his gaze,Khushi's eyes also fall on the table first & then on the files delivered by Mr. Roy.
