@bold - you picked up exactly what I wanted to show :) If anything, the fact that Khushi isn't fighting with him, is not blaming or accusing or even angry at him, just makes it worse because she has just arbitrarily removed herself from him and not given him a chance to counter. I'm really glad you liked the transition of his emotions, culminating in his realisation :) Thanks so very much for reading, and for touching the depth of the update!
