I am famous for giving my hugely long comments because I tend to miss out on updates, but I know you're more a fan of my biggish comments than the regular ones, so here goes! :D
You dedicated two chapters to me! Do you know how much I love you for that? You almost brought me in equation with Sami Di to whom this entire story is dedicated, or so I would flatter myself to think :D
Well firstly, it was all getting too hard to bear for me, watching Khushi struggle with her feelings for Arnav and trying to recoup from her recent breakup (for her obviously because she loved him) Arnav and Khushi's spat was like a bomb bursting! Both of them saying out loud whatever was held in their heart. Khushi blatantly proclaiming what an inexcusable hypocrite Arnav was to be two-timing, and at the same time unknowingly revealing her open jealousy to him, and Arnav trying to reason with her that he WASN'T two-timing whatsoever. But when do these two listen to each other. each just wants to say what they wanna say! And then they broke-up Khushi, I feel for! She had one problem after another break over her head like hell breaks loose. And amidst it all, the poor girl's troubles only multiply rather than cease and a new bomb is thrown on her. She is not what she thought she was since her birth! She's not her Amma-Bauji's chutki, nor is she Rohan's Bacchi. She is the cousin. A mere cousin, who was never by direct blood related to the Gupta's. She is a Yadav, the daughter of a man who brutally murdered his wife and only because of his insane doubts. What an absolute shock it would have been for her, and only you know Fari how she bears the torture! It was all so sudden for Khushi the way things are revealed to her. So sudden and so dramatic! The first flashback after the revelation of the papers was so poignant. I had a lump in my throat reading it all!
So now I know! Now I finally know what all the mad gossip was about! Everyone knew about Khushi being the adoptive niece/daughter of the Gupta's and that's why they thought her incapable of being anyone's bride? Like how ridiculous can people get? What do they have in their brains? Cow-dung? What was poor Khushi's fault if her father was a mad-man? I have an urge to whack Mami across the head suddenly!
Fari, the way things unfolded are yet again, so precise and to the point. Nothing too less and nothing too much. Everything is being revealed in due time and hats off to you for such a marvelous way of writing! I love your writing so much, i could marry it!
The way everyone handles Khushi after the revelation was so real! It was only normal of them to be forcefully protective of her and try to reason with her telling her that nothing had changed and all this doesn't matter! I had tears!
And then finally! My favorite part arrived! The entry of Arnav and also the entry of the news breaking upon him now! For all this while I expected Arnav to be standing by the door of Nikunja, listening to the whole drama unfold, but Anjali seems a better way to have told him the news. It gave him time to let the shocking news sink in and also understand (this part I loved) what his poor lil baby Khushi must be going through if the news had such a strong impact on him! I love your imagination Fari, and your way of showing little things that form the basis for bigger things is so astounding! Khushi bravely undergoes the new change and tries to bring herself to accept the truth, but her over-concerned parents make it more difficult for her! Arnav finally goes ahead to soothe Khushi's wounds and I'm looking forward to their conversation!
Love it until here Fari! Going to the new thread to read 32! :D
