Part-43

"I liked the black short dress you bought" Neha brought Kria back from her thoughts! "I am sure that Rey is gonna be clean bowled seeing you in that sexy dress" She knocked Kria's shoulder lightly! Kria smiled on that! They were heading back to Hotel with Kevon! Rey's cell was still not reachable and Kria's unease was on peak!

After that speedy lap of tracks, Rey was back in his elements! Ali and he were wandering in corridors of stadium with bears in hand! Ali was kinda happy too after seeing somewhat old Rey! He was changed man till date ever since he met Kria! Ali wasn't being mean but modest about missing racer Rey! He was changed!

She dropped shopping bags on couch! "Drop that sad face Kria" Neha shouted! Kria was back from her gloomy world!

"It is kinda exciting to have Leo back on tracks!" Rey said to Ali! Ali smiled tremulously! "I don't know man whether I should be excited or afraid about his comeback" Ali said!

"Your brooding expression is for sure scaring me" Rey teased him! Both laughed! "I am more scared of that hot mess "Elena", Ali added! Rey tapped his back, "You are on roll man. Talking about the lady, you gotta be drunk" Rey vexed Ali! "You tell me! You know a lot about this girl! Had quite a history with her! huh?? Ali asked with that deadpan expression! Rey gave him back that serious look and then both busted into laugh!

"It's late man! Let's head back to Hotel" Rey reminded Ali!

"It is quite a facility here" Kevon explained the girls who were taking foot massage in hotel spa! Neha was all gummy throughout his pampering session! Kria's eyes were on mobile screen!

And it rang! She picked on first ring! "Where were you? I have been calling like from 3 hours" She asked in one breath! "Wohhhoo! Slow down girl!" Rey answered! "I have been to tracks. Cars are here!" He added!
"You didn't even tell me! I mean what the hell Rey! You were supposed to tell me about cars!" She was mad!

"You were busy after all with shopping, Cape Town and the guy! What was his name??!! Oh yeah! Kev-oo-n!" Rey was being sarcastic!

"I didn't mean to interrupt you!" He concluded! "Kria had that tight lipped expression throughout listening Rey's sarcasm! "Oh yeah! It was fun! We shopped a lot! Kev-oo-n has this amazing taste in dresses and you know what he is so good at massage!" She made that pleasing sounds! Neha's mouth was opened while listening what Kria was saying! She knocked her shoulder to inspect what she was saying! Kria ignored her reminder!

"What??? What he is doing exactly?" Rey asked with that anger in voice! "Massage! Foot massage!" Kria answered! She had that sly expression throughout!

"Oh! Good! Ask him to stick to feet only! You know you never know these boys!" He laughed humorlessly! "By the way you carry on! I have got this meeting! I will see ya later!" Rey hung up the phone!

Kria had her mouth open with shock of this royal ignorance! "Didn't work??" Neha asked! "Kria answered, "will work! I am feeling all rogue!"

"Foot massage? Was she kidding me?" He mumbled! Ali's laughing horses were finally free! "I don't believe it! I mean who is this Kevon guy? He trolled you man!" Ali said!

"I know man!" He admitted!

They didn't talk all night! He was changing sides all night! She was abusing pillows and curtains all night for not letting her sleep!

Morning was sunny! Rey took the shower and headed towards tracks! It was first race of tournament and he needed to be in mood to kill it! He messaged Kria about being there! His anguish and ego trip was somewhat off! And reply was there within seconds! "I am already at tracks." She replied! Rey was amazed with her attitude! He dropped the cell and wore his white shirt!

He with Ali headed towards tracks! The place was fully decorated with flags and stuff! Though race was in evening but mood was all built! There were some fans on the gates! They started screaming as soon as they saw Rey and his Bugatti! Rey waved to them! "I love this part man!" He laughed!

Rey parked the car in front of their workshop! Kria peeped out of big glass wall! "White shirt with blue denims and denim cap on head! He was looking dashing!" She smiled without even realizing but withdrew it as soon as he headed towards workshop!

"Elene!" Neha said the name while watching outside! Kria turned around to see! One girl was squeezing Rey's cheeks with her lip-stick-ed lips! "What the Fish!" Kria uttered!

Rey could see her girlfriend standing like a warrior princess with her hands on wais! His expressions were saying "I am not doing anything! See!". "OMG! She is back!" Neha added! "Who is she?" Kria asked! "An Old flame of racing world, she used to be with Leo!" Neha answered! "And what this old flame is doing around Rey?" Kria asked! "Hey! Chill down! They know each other so it must be a greeting kiss! You know these racing cheeks greet like this only!" Neha said so casually! Kria looked at her glowering!

Rey entered the shop! Kria still had her hands on waist! Rey had the expression of being screwed! He side hugged her and kissed her cheek tightly! "You didn't even tell me before leaving! We could have come together!" Rey said to her!
Kria wiped lipstick mark from his cheek and said, "Actually! Kev-oo-n offered us a ride! So I couldn't refuse!" She walked back to work after saying that!

Whole day, team was working hard with the settings and cars! Rey was going through every new detail added in his car! Kria was specific about everything! From engine to paint, everything was perfect! Ali and Kria were totally busy for the day! Neha was just sitting and watching them work! Rey was on phone with someone! Vicky was lying on his car's bonnet!

Rey looked irked after attending call! Kria asked about it by raising her eyebrows! Rey nodded in no!

His eyes were on watch! Kria was noticing his irk! She walked to him and asked, "What is the matter?" "She is coming to join the team! And I couldn't say no! I don't want any drama!" He answered! "Who?" Kria asked! "Sharon" Rey told!

There was silence for few seconds! "Let her join the team! She is part of dazzlers! You just focus on race!" Kria said with smile! Rey was bit relaxed! She brushed his cheek a bit and walked away!

And evening was nearing! Rey's anxiety was pacing! Return of Leo certainly reminded me of his old days when he was new in business! Stadium started filling in! Lights were on! His face could tell the anxiety level! While oiling the engine, her eyes were on his restlessness! Vicky and Rey left for changing room for getting ready! Neha was off to green room! Ali and Kria were looking out at tracks! It was crowded at moment! "It's big. Isn't it?" Kria asked! Ali answered, "Biggest of what you have seen till now".

Kria put on pit crew uniform! Red leather jacket and pants! Ali and Kria pushed Bugatti to the tracks! Vicky's car was too jabbed to the side track!

And cheers went insane when a yellow car was parked to next working station! That same lady from the day was standing next to car! She was beautiful and so does the car! Kria had curiosity in eyes! "It's Leo's team and pit!" Ali told her!

Kria's palms were getting sweatier! Announcements were about to make! Her wavy hairs which were touching her neck in wind, were somewhat cooling her anxiety level down! Neha was walking towards the pit in her uniform! Checked flags were waving around! Neha had flag of dazzlers! And behind her, Sharon in her total diva look walked in! She was simply looking stunning in short red dress and red lipstick on! She waved towards Ali! Ali greeted her with smile! Kria wasn't expecting anything! Sharon with her famous smirk looked at Kria and waved a hello! Kria responded with friendly smile!

And it was time! Introductions were started already! Team 4, the number for Dazzlers! Leopards', team 3!! Crown went crazy as soon as name Leo has been announced! He in yellow attire walked towards car, a handsome man in his mid 40s, Kria kinda checked him out! The one weird thing about the Leopards' was their constant attention towards Dazzlers!

And the big fancy moment, Team4! The Dazzlers! Announcer took the name! Heartbeats of Kria were amplifying! For few seconds, she thought she might faint! And cheers went even louder, she turned around and saw love of her life walking like a man towards the battlefield! Red leather suit and helmet in hand, he looked determined! Winds were going crazier! Kria looked at sky and it was cloudy! With his first look, volume went viral! Rey looked into Kria's eyes! She was lost and she knew it! She down casted her eyes! She of course didn't want to wish him nervousness! Rey waved to crowd! Next was a eye lock between Rey and Leo! Kria couldn't hold her anxiety anymore! "Okay! Listen! I want you to be very careful! Weather is bit shady!" She told Rey while holding his jacket's chain tightly! Rey held her from waist and assured, "I will be! And I want my girl to have trust in me! Okay!" She nodded in yes! Neha and Sharon were doing their killing dance moves. It was quite a showdown!

Team introductions were over! And Racers were instructed to bring their cars to racing track! Rey was about to walk towards car! Kria stopped him and gave a tight kiss! "All the best" she said! Rey smiled on this sudden comeback of love and said, "I thought you were angry!" Kria looked at him playfully, "I still am. Go now!"

Rey wore his helmet and entered his car! Both the cars of Dazzlers were on main track now, lined up for final whistle!

Kria's heartbeats were nothing less than drums! And final of three beeps blew and flag went up with an indication of start! Race was on! There were total of 8 laps! Rey was not the leader for sure! He never rushes in first few minutes! Leo's car was roaring the sound of comeback by leading the scoreboard! Rey parked the car to pit for tire change! Kria and Ali was busy oiling car whereas rest of crew was changing tires! Burns out marks were all over the tracks! Lap 4 it was! Rey was now pacing the bugatti! Leo and he didn't have any interaction till now! Ali was feared because of that! He didn't want that interaction to be held on tracks! Things were smooth till now and that was making Ali more restless!

Lap 6, Leo and Rey were on position 1, 2 respectively! And a sudden showdown! Leo turned his car around and made it face Rey's car! He was racing the car in reverse! Sighs in crowd could be heard! Rey nodded his head as he knew about Leo's gonna do something like this! For few meters, both cars were racing like this! Leo had that mysterious smile on face and he bid a greeting salute to Rey! Rey smiled on that! Rey overtook the Leo and headed towards finish point! Leo wasn't even trying to race him down! Rey crossed the line and race was over! Kria was jumping in joy! Whole pit crew was happy about first win! Rey knew that Leo lost the race on purpose! Qualifier 1- Top 3 racers have qualified for round two! Announcer announced! Kria looked at Elena who was standing in her pit! Kria was trying to figure these people out but she wasn't getting anything! Were they up to to something?! Kria thought!

Elena passed sly smile to her and went in! Rey came back to work station! Kria walked fast towards him but got interrupted! "Sharon was first there hugging Rey!" Kria smiled and reached her! As soon as she saw Kria standing next! She just made that face telling nothing personal! "It's just I always wish him congrats first" She clarified! Kria let the thing go and hugged Rey! "Congratulation" She whispered in his ear! Rey kissed her temple! Whole team was there celebrating the win! Vicky too made to next round! Leo was disappeared! Rey's eyes were looking for him!

Next was the party time! Whole crew walked in!
