You know for the first time since I have started reading this fic, I thought there was something missing in their romance - passion perhaps? Maybe because of their circumstances (office) and the fact that its still initial stages. And by passion I do not mean sex / physical intimacy. ithink Arnav may have some what caught some part of my thoughts in the last update when he said "what if i want needy & cling?" Though I must confess its nice to see a guy go thru these emotions as well instead of just the woman.
But it was heart warming to see Arnav''s boyish excitement at the first open display of togetherness / belonging by Khushi. You know I do like the fact that Khushi is the one keeping things normal at work, being a lil reserved cos it almost always works that way at work esp when you happen to be in love with your boss!
Read your comment after the update. Hmm.. yes office makes it a little difficult because of your equation and the fact that world and its pop suddenly starts to believe that you were incapable of anything to begin with, it was the getting-into-the-boss's-pants that got you where it did.
But its no different from any issue that any other relationship faces. Its just that we are used to having a certain facade in place at work, there is an element of formality at the workplace, its a part of your life which is not privy to your personal life and then suddenly - wham! Everything personal is in public domain, in a domain that you've tried hard to segregate from your personal one..so it irks more..
But I think the reason that it irks a lot more / hits a lot more is also because it ends up in your capabilities / competence being questioned and that's the difference. Otherwise, all situations come with their own set of issues!
