The Pursuit of Love

This work of fiction is greatly inspired by the serial "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon", books I have read and people I have met. The characters are similar to that in the serial, although the content, situations and style of writing are mine.

I would love to read your comments and suggestions, I would not promise to include all in my writing and would like to add, constructive criticism is always welcome; it would greatly help the story and my effort to stay true to the concept. I am relatively new to writing and though I enjoy it immensely, my ability at writing regular updates is limited. The update soon comments, honestly cannot be honored as I mentioned earlier, cannot type that fast.

I request you not to copy/duplicate this work, it's petty to plagiarize and sincerely hope you enjoy my work, like and comment. What did Arnav get by not letting Khushi go to Aakash's place apart from both Khushi's and Aakash's surprise? He got to kiss Khushi! 😆

What did Arnav get by forcing Khushi to come to his apartment using both his attitude and charisma??? He got to kiss Khushi! 😳

He told her he found her vacation "unnecessarily long" 😲 😃

When Khushi said "This is so you" I wanted to tell her this is so him AFTER meeting her. You have brought a change in his heart and his taste. Nahi toh you would have seen black and white decor, kitchenette, etc etc. Ask Suzanne

I loved the way he told her he wants her and how they sealed it with a kiss or two and thorough ones at that ☺️

PS: I had not realised she had not called him Arnav yet

Loved this chapter...Arnav at his romantic best...I like the way he confessed to khushi in a very simple, unadorned fashion...he is a man of few words...and his actions definitely speak more...he faces the problem head on rather than beating around the bush...I quite like his attitude. I like Khushi as well...I mean she is smart, intelligent and quite grounded...she deliberates over a matter in hand before taking any rash measures...she is sincere, kind and thoughtful. In the past, I have always admired her for her straight forward, no nonsense attitude...she knows how to give back as good as she gets. I understand her hesitant manner when it comes to Arnav...he is after all the quintessential rich bad boy...she is not the kind to embroil herself in a fling and yet she feels terribly attracted towards Arnav...Arnav on the other hand is quite open about his interest in her...in fact it vexes him to no end that Khushi has always tried to escape this inevitable confrontation...if I may dare to say so, I have to agree with Arnav here. I like the feisty Khushi way more than the coy one...it makes me a little sad that Arnav has to go out of his way to even talk to her...it seemed to me that she had decided in Turkey that she would pursue this thing with Arnav...then why did she seem to run away from it after she got back? Cold feet?

Hey Kalyaani , Just read this FF in one go since yesterday . This is one powerful FF . Loved it very much . Me being a south indian especially andhraite loved the telugu "Chinnu" touch . You are one heck of a writer . Each and every character is so well defined and emoted . The last chapter was fabulous . Mahi was so up to the point and each and every word he said was cent percent correct . His regret is so palpable that he could not bring up arnav and anjali properly with more ethical and moral values . Also what he realized that correcting those mistakes will be difficult as time has gone by. But glad that he is atleat going to give it a try .

Finally he confessed and she accepted omg I can't believe it did they actually speak their hearts out with that nods and ahem ahems
But their egos are a big problem will it create a problem when mahis truth comes out willit? Arnav is so cute atleast he took a step forward towards something unlike khushi who is under dilemma always
