First off - no need to thank me for pointing out the typos. If I can be of little service to a great writer like you, it is a huge thing in itself 😊

Onto the chapter -

I was glad how Akash and Khushi were able to hit it off. This is an interesting parallel to the original show, with almost everything alike, except the things which I hated (I say I because I have been told my tastes don't match with many. If there is another person like me - though I doubt it - then join the party) like how NK and Khushi were never given a chance, how Khushi could have been more than a jalebi spewing idiot and how... I don't know, I love this story.

Arnav cooks? That is a pleasant surprise!

I am curious to see how Khushi ended up from such a happy place, to the abortion centre

I kind of see a connection between the abortion and arnavs view on having kids in this update.

Lovely update.. so both of them felt something during the incident.. of course.. when Arnav and Khushi come together, sparks are expected.

Loved this line - As it is India's population is over a billion, no one is going to cry if a miserable man like me doesn't father a child

Waiting to see what will happen next!!!

Hope your lil one is better after the immunization!

I want to be pampered too 😭.. NB, Arti got her flu shot yesterday.. but Arti was very brave and didn't cry! <sucking my thumb>

Khushi too is being a little more rational about things and I'm glad she apologized to NKay. Her earlier behavior was uncalled for, however confused she may have been. Would she have reacted the same way if NKay had spoken like that in front of someone other than Arnav, a man Khushi is attracted to?

Anjali is being an interfering, bossy older sister. She's in a happy place, married and all, and wants her brother to find the same joys. Understandable. But she needs to respect the fact that he's a grown man who does not want to get married...maybe not right now, maybe never. And why should not wanting kids make you self-centered? Uh uh, don't agree, Anjali.

Anjali is based on my character, I make a bossy, interfering older sister. No wonder my brother never introduces m to any of his girl friends.😆
