It was 7 pm when Khushi decided to stop studying and go get ready. Her phone rang and she picked it up and answered. "Hello?" Khushi said. She blushed when she heard his voice. "Hey munchkin! I just called you up to apologize!!" Khushi sighed and said "Hey, lemme guess, we can't do tonight because you have girlfriend issues?" "How did you know that? Are you a psychic or something?" Khushi laughed and said "haha no way! It's just that I am used to people saying No all the time.." Arnav felt horrible. "Hey don't be like that munchkin! I swear I would have come but Sheetal won't spare me if she finds out I have been out with you. Sorry sweets" Arnav said. Khushi smiled and said "Oh don't worry Arnav! Its fine, you go take care of her, I will be fine! Plus me and my sister are planning to go out tonight anyway!" Arnav smiled and they talked for a little more and decided to see each other in school "Anyways I'll see you in school tomorrow kay munchkin?" Arnav asked. "Sure Arnav and hey by the way, where did you get my number?" Khushi asked curiously. Arnav smirked and said "I have my ways munchkin, see you in school!!" With that he left the phone and Khushi smiled and went to get ready.

"Khushi are you ready yet???" Payal screamed while banging the door. "Hold on jiji, almost done, you go get in the car, I will come soon!" Payal went off outside.

Khushi looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. "Guess I look okay huh?" Khushi wore blue shorts and a purple shirt, tied back her hair into a high pony tail and left out her side fringe, added some makeup and went off to get in the car.

"So sister where do you wanna go?" Payal asked Khushi. "I don't know jiji, anywhere is fine!", "why don't we explore the night light here in Delhi? I have heard it's really good!" Payal agreed and drove towards the best night club.

As soon and Payal and Khushi walked in to the club, all eyes were on them, especially Khushi. They walked over to the bar and acted as if nothing happened."Jiji I am 17, I am clearly underage, so why did you bring me here?" Khushi asked a little shocked. Payal smiled and said "Oh come on Khushi! I am 22, so I have permission so it's ok if you accompany me! Now relax and enjoy it, do you want a drink?" Khushi nodded and said "urm yeah just some water, not in the mood for anything." Khushi got her water and they both got talking.

Arnav and his gang were having fun in the club when Sheetal pulled him to the love seats and sat next to him. "Arnav you hardly spoke to me today! You were with that loser the whole time! What is wrong with you?" Sheetal whined. Arnav rolled his eyes and said "oh god calm down will you? Look its my life, I can talk to whoever I want, and whenever I want and as for your 'loser', her name is Khushi, I suggest you start using that, and show her some respect, she is much smarter than you!" With that Arnav walked back to the dance floor leaving a fuming Sheetal. Kabir noticed Khushi near the bar and pointed it over to Arnav. Arnav grinned broadly and went over to her.

"HEY MUNCHKIN!" Arnav yelled out to Khushi. Khushi and Payal looked at Arnav and Khushi smiled broadly. She went over to give him a hug and he came with her to meet Payal. "Jiji, this is Arnav, remember I told you, and Arnav this is my sister Payal" Payal did a full body scan of Arnav and looked at Khushi and said "10.5 sister! Not bad!" Khushi's jaw dropped and she started blushing while Arnav just looked confused. The 3 of them sat down and got talking.

Meanwhile Kabir, Tanya and Sheetal were watching in awe. "Wow I have never seen Arnav like this before! It's shocking, what's so special in her anyway?" Kabir said raising his eyebrow. Tanya grinned "maybe he just really likes her-----"she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Sheetal giving her a death glare. "Looks like we have to do something Kobo, don't you think?" Sheetal said with an evil smirk. The 3 of them smiled broadly and fixed their plan.

"Hey munchkin, I have to tell you, you look adorable in this outfit!" commented Arnav. Payal bit her lip trying not to smile. "Munchkin huh? Arnav just to let you know Khushi is single and she desperately needs a boyfriend! She studies to much and she spends all her free time writing, playing music or reading books! Please help her!" Khushi glared at her sister while she blushed red. Arnav smiled and said "Khushi you write? And you play music?" Khushi shrugged and said "it's just a past time, not that im any good.." , "Stop being so modest Khushi! You could easily be Beethoven and Mozart's child! And you are definitely Shakespeares daughter my foot!" Payal said. Arnav smirked and said "Khushi you have to show me! Please munchkin?" Khushi smiled and said "Fine, I will play one day.." "what do you play anyway?" arnav asked curiously. "Well I can Play Piano, Guitar, Violin, Drums and a little bit of the flute, I play by ear but I can play Guitar and Piano by reading the notes as well''" Khushi said as if it was no big deal. Arnav nodded and said "yeaaah no big deal munchkin'SERIOUSLY??!!??? Okay listen to me munchkin, you are freaking talented! There is an annual talent show every year, and the shows auditions take place next week, you HAVE to come okay! And I will make sure you do!" Arnav said. Khushi smiled and said "fine laad governor! If you say so but...'""But nothing munchkin!, you are doing it and that's final!" Arnav smirked. Payal decided to leave the 2 love birds alone so she asked Arnav to drop Khushi back home, which he agreed to and she went back.

Sheetal had enough, so she walked up to Arnav and Khushi and sat in front of them. "Hey, you are Khushi right?" Sheetal asked. Khushi smiled and said "yep, and you are Sheetal." Sheetal faked a smile and said "Oh so I guess you two have become good friends?" Arnav smiled at Khushi and turned to Sheetal and said "yes we have.." Sheetal looked at the distance between Arnav and Khushi, there was hardly any, she turned green with anger. "Arnav? How come you never talk to me like the way you talk to Khushi? You seem so free with her.." Khushi felt awkward so excused herself from their and went to sit at the bar.

"Hello boo?" A tall handsome guy came up to Khushi. Khushi turned around with a smile but her smile turned into a big shriek of joy! "OH MY EFFING GOD???? JAY??? WHAT THE? YOU ARE IN DELHI!!! YOU IDIOT WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!!!! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!!! URR I HATE YOU!!!" Khushi yelled. Arnav had heard her scream so he ran to her only to see her hugging a guy and she was jumping up and down with happiness. For some reason, the sight of Khushi with someone else made him fume with anger so he walked up to her and pulled her to him.

Khushi was confused at Arnav's behavior and pulled away and said "Urrm hey Arnav?" Arnav looked at her and softened a bit but looked back and forth at Khushi and the guy. Khushi smiled and said "Arnav meet my best friend Arjun, well I call him Jay so yeah'" Arnav looked like he was ready to strangle the guy but faked a smile and said "hey dude, since when do you two know each other?" Jay smiled and said "Me and Khushi have grown up together, I basically know her inside out and she knows me more than anybody else, and we just cannot lie to each other. I left London a month ago, we stayed in touch but I missed her loads so I decided to go back but when I found out that she was here in Delhi, I decided to surprise her! Little did I know that my lioness would be here in this bar" Jay ruffled Khushi's hair. Arnav couldn't take it anymore. 'How dare he call Khushi HIS lioness! She is only MY lioness! Urr shut up Arnav! What is happening to you?' Khushi noticed how Arnav was feeling left out so she decided to take him out for some fresh air. Arnav was more than happy to go out so he followed her without hesitation leaving a dumbstruck Jay.

Khushi looked at Arnav's face and burst out into laughter. Arnav glared at her and said "Why are you laughing? It's not funny!!" Khushi giggled even more but controlled it and said "awww Arnav are you Jealous?" Arnav rolled his eyes and said "WHAT!! NO WAY!!" 'are you Jealous arnav?' arnav thought mentally. Khushi looked a little disappointed but shoved it away but before she could say anything...

Arnav kissed her on her lips...

What awesome update, I like this Kushi she is the multi talented personality. Arnav is so cute when i jealous of jay.I enjoyed when Sheetal is fuming, hoping to read the next chapter soon with more lovely updates.

HEY GUYS! OKAY TO BE HONEST AFTER THIS UPDATE I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL THROW ME TOMATOES AND SHOES -_- , I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE TIRED OF ARNAV AND KHUSHI FIGHTING BUT THIS WAS SORT OF NECESSARY FOR MY STORY TO GO ON!!! AND ALSO I FEEL LIKE KHUSHI IS TOO QUITE IN THE SERIAL, SHE NEEDS TO BE STRONG AND I WANT HER TO FIGHT BACK FOR HERSELF, SHES ALWAYS QUITE AND SHE ALWAYS SARIFICES HER HAPPINESS FOR OTHER PEOPLE, BUT DON'T WORRY, MY STORIES NEVER HAVE BAD ENDINGS, ONLY HAPPY ENDINGS!! AND THIS SAD TRACK IS ONLY FOR A FEW PARTS AFTER THAT THERE IS GONNA BE A LOT OF ICING ON CAKE ROMANCE AND THIS PART IS GOING TO BE A SLAP ON THE FACE TO OUR ARNAV AND ALSO SHEETAL. SO LOOK FORWARD AND PLEASE KEEP READING!!

As soon as his lips touched hers, she couldn't help but give in, his lips tasted like honey and she wanted more. 10 seconds later Arnav pulled apart and looked at her and walked off.

Khushi was confused but embarrassed. Arnav stopped walking and turned around and burst out into laughter. Khushi was wondering what was so funny but soon realized that this was all just a prank as soon as all of his friends came out and started laughing with him. Arnav came up in front and said "MUNCHKIN, what did you think? That I actually cared about you? That I wanted to be your friend? Nope, this was all just a J.O.K.E; I can't believe you actually fell for it! I thought it would be hard with you since you came off as a little lioness but nope, guess my charms work on everyone huh?" Sheetal walked over to Arnav and kissed him and everyone hooted. Kabir walked up to Khushi and said "Welcome to Mount High and that baby was Arnav Singh Raizada for you'" with that everybody started laughing at Khushi again and Arnav yelled out to Kabir and said "hey dude that was epic man! And Sheetal you actually thought that I would be interested in her didn't you sweets?" He picked Sheetal up and walked off leaving everybody and they soon followed.

Everything was like a blur for Khushi. Tears threatened her eyes but she didn't let them fall except for one. She was still in a daze when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She slowly turned around to see Jay looking at her. She was relieved when she saw him; after all, he was her rock all these years. She crushed herself into his arms and burst out into tears. Jay just held her and let her cry her heart out. "Sssh Khushi, sssh, they don't deserve your tears, stop crying.." Jay said soothingly. Although he was calm for her, he wanted to kill each and every one of them and give them so much pain. How dare they make Khushi cry? "Why does this always happen to me? Why me? Why is it always me!?" Khushi mumbled into Jay's neck. Jay closed his eyes in frustration and told her "Khushi it always happens to you because you give in easily, be strong, look, I am transferring to Mount High for you okay? Don't worry." She clutched on tighter to Jay and he picked her up and went to his car.

He dropped her off at her house and drove off. He was going to have a 'chat' with Arnav. He drove back to the club and walked in. He spotted those idiots having a good time, laughing with each. He walked up to them, Sheetal saw him and said "Bhai, what are you doing here?" Jay gave a look of hatred to his little sister. He looked at Arnav and gave him a death glare "What the f***k is your problem? Do you have any idea how much pain Khushi is going through?" said Jay. Arnav looked at him and rolled his eyes and said "calm down dude, it was a joke, tell her not to take it so seriously'" "A joke? Seriously? Hurting somebody's feeling's is NOT a joke! You have no idea what kind of pain she went through back in London, one of the main reasons she came over here. She left all of us, all our friends, music, writing, everything. She was so bubbly, fun loving and hyperactive but for one person she left everything. She trusted you Arnav Singh Raizada, but alas, she got hurt once again. Having fun has its limits as well, always remember that. And as for Sheetal, who are you? You are definitely not my baby sister! You seriously don't remember Khushi? You don't remember what she did for you?" Jay said with nothing but hatred in his voice. Sheetal looked up and said "Bhai enough okay! I know who she is! I know what she did for me! But I only wanted your love and care which you only gave to her! She may be your best friend but I know you very well, you would easily give your life for her without hesitation. That kind of care should be given to ME! But no you didn't, even mumma and papa loved her, why she is such a bitch!" yelled Sheetal. Jay just gave her a look of plain hatred and said "Look Sheetal, Arnav and all of you, stay away from Khushi, she is my Best friend and my life, hurt her once more and you will have to face my wrath!" with that Jay walked off leaving a dumbstruck Arnav and Sheetal. Arnav soon ran out to stop jay.

"Wait Jay!" Said Arnav. Jay turned around and said "What do you want now?" "What happened in London?" asked Arnav. Jay grinned sarcastically and asked "why do you want to know? If she was just a joke to you? You don't even know her, you met her today, so why are you so interested?" Arnav sighed and said "Just tell me, please'.."

"5 months ago, Khushi was in a serious relationship with a guy back in London, his name was Rehaan and Khushi loved him a lot and they both were pretty perfect for each other. He was flying to Paris one night when his plane crashed'" Arnav's breath hitched. "She was lifeless for a month but she soon recovered. See Khushi is a strong girl; she knew there was no point in moaning for the loss of someone who will never come back. Her sister is getting married, so her parents decided it was best if they came back here, for good, so that Khushi will find someone else. Khushi smiles but she is breaking on the inside and she has no one to share her pain with. She is still looking for her soul mate but she is scared because she doesn't want to lose her love again. She trusted you. She thought you were different and that you actually cared for her. She was so excited that she made a friend. She obviously misses home and our friends but she knows that If she goes back, all those memories will haunt her, she is trying to run away from it but she just needs someone to protect her, to love her, to respect her and to never leave her. Look I am telling you this because I know you are a good guy and I trust you but i have to tell you one more important fact which only a few of us know. Please promise me you will never tell anyone." Jay said. Arnav was in tears but he nodded. "She is adopted. Her parents passed away in a car accident when she was just eight. Her uncle and Aunt adopted her and they love her more than anything and they never made her feel like she was not their own but she still has an emptiness in her. She was so happy, positive, bubby easy going, filled everybody's lives with happiness and love, everybody loved her, she sacrificed her happiness for others. Now when she smiles, there is always something missing. She just needs some attention and love and I feel that only you can give her that."Jay said. Arnav looked up at Jay, Jay smiled at Arnav. "Hey buddy don't worry, she isn't mad at you, right now she is just mad at herself. I think you should go talk to her'" He patted Arnav's shoulder and walked off. Arnav was tearing. He punched the wall and broke down into tears. "WHY OH WHY DID I HAVE TO DO THAT!!! I NEVER MEANT TO HURT HER!! OH SHIT OH SHIT!! SHE IS IN PAIN AND ITS ALL MY FAULT. URR!" Arnav soon grabbed his keys and drove off to her house.

The lights were off so he thought that everybody must be sleeping so he creeped into the house and went to her room.

The door was still slightly opened and he saw her clutching a pillow tightly, leaning against the bed post sleeping. He walked up to her and felt his stomach churn when he saw her tear stained face. He hated himself so much. But no more. He was going to make it better. It was Arnav Singh Raizada's promise. He slowly pushed away a hair strand on her face which made her stir and wake up with a jolt.

"What the hell? Arnav what are you doing here?" She soon ran to the door and locked it and put the lights on. Her eyes were red from all the crying and Arnav just went up to her and engulfed her in a tight bear hug. "Im so sorry, im so so sorry Khushi, yell at me, swear at me, do whatever but please don't blame yourself. Please talk to me, im so sorry." Arnav cried into her neck. Khushi slowly pulled out of the hug and saw Arnav in tears. She put a hand on his cheek and said "Hey don't cry, let me guess, Jay told you everything huh?" Arnav smiled and said "yeah but Khushi listen, you are not alone, from this day onwards, you have me okay? I will never be able to forgive myself, I never meant to hurt you, I am so sorry munchkin." Khushi smiled and said "it's alright Arnav, I forgive you and I have to admit, I did miss munchkin." Arnav laughed and pulled her into his arms again and kissed her neck and forehead and then he moved on to her nose. Khushi realized what he was doing and slowly pulled apart. She blushed and tried to run away but he pulled her back and said "do you trust me?" She slowly nodded and he pulled her face to him and kissed her ever so lightly on her lips. They both started tearing while kissing and she soon buried her face into his and cried her heart out. "Arnav what about Sheetal?" "Sssh baby, I'll sort that out later, just let it go." Khushi pulled apart and said "But Arnav we barely know each other, I mean we only met today, you may know my past but I don't know anything about you'" Arnav chuckled and said "don't worry about that, we have our whole lives for that and as for getting to know me---" "SANKADEVI, WHAT'S THAT NOISE?" buaji shouted out from the door. Khushi got a shock and she dragged Arnav under the bed and went to open the door. "Bua, it was nothing, I was dreaming and I fell off the bed." "Ooh you really are a sankadevi aren't you! But Im glad you are back to your old self, I was worried whether you had opted for the silent version of you.." Khushi grinned and closed the door and turned around only to find Arnav sitting on the bed grinning at her. He opened his arms and she ran into them and they both slowly slept off''..
