She glanced towards the door and her impatient voice erupted her lips as she heard the sound of cracking the door and saw him stepping into the room. Arnav lifted her eyes startled a bit to realize her deep, inviting gaze her him, straightening himself he curled a boyish grin stepping closer to the spot where she was standing. "Is it possible I reject a beautiful girl's invitation?"He spoke in flirtiest tone but then taking her hand and kissed her knuckle softly like a gentleman then dropped it and the laugh escaped from her lips as she appreciated his gesture with a broad smile signaling him to take a seat in front of her, "well'I think it's impossible" She fluttered her lashes in the seductive way meeting with his gaze and Arnav just could smile in response. "I'm so glad you came"
Her husky voice slowly penetrating in his ear and he looked at her through his lashes, something was deep in her eye flushed and he hardly could bring back his all thoughts realizing the way her eyes were scanning and admiring his features.
"Ermm! You told me you want to talk about project?"
Arnav curled a faint smile feeling a bit uncomfortable trying to sound normal and she shook herself removing her eyes from him realizing he'd been caught her staring at him shamelessly, "oh!yeah'actually I want to tell you something-------"She paused a bit purposely biting her lips trying to recover her embarrassment and then flashing a grin on her thinned lips she offered him a file, "What is this?" Arnav raised his brow taking out the file from her hand and lifted his gaze meeting with her giving a quick glance to a bundle of papers.
"Mr.Arnav Sharma you're now our partner in this new project we are offering you 40% profit"
Arnav blinked his eyes looking at the papers in shock and then at her who was now grinning enjoying his expressions and the sound of her soft laughter was ringing in the room.
"Is it true?"He asked lifting up his brow in unbelieving sound and Riya holding her giggle stared back into his eyes.
"you deserve lots more Arnav'it's nothing in front of you"
He startled at her words staring back into her and the emotions he'd seen floating in her eyes had taken his breath for a moment'He felt uncomfortable--restless.
Realizing what she just said she quickly recollecting her senses correcting herself, "I mean'it's nothing in front of your hard work, your talent'you deserve lots more success in your life"
Before he could bring himself out of his trance of thought he felt his hand on his shoulder and he starlted looking up she was standing beside him, "I hope you will get everything that you ever dreamt of"
He smiled at her before standing on his heels and straightened to look at her, "Thank you Riya"
He returned back her gaze with a huge grin and then he'd found himself frozen in that spot when out of sudden two arms slipped around his neck leaning on him, a soft feminine, seductive breath touched his cheek and he felt his body stiffen " there are many others ways to thank someone"
He'd seen her eyes trailed on his face seductively and her lips had shivered to stare at his, He knew what she was demanding and at the back of his mind he thought of Khushi,her lips on his, the previous night that he'd spent in her arms'There was just Khushi he could think about at that moment'her eyes, her arms around his neck, her surrendering body against his'He didn't know what he felt about Khushi but he knew the feeling. The emotions he felt for her he never felt for anyone and couldn't have felt for anyone'those emotions, strong feelings belonged to her'just her.
"Riya!"
He pulled himself back shrugging her arms slightly and she roused titling her head towards him who was looking around feeling a bit uncomfortable realizing her gazes at him and she gasped trying to stable her composure, "I'm sorry" Her voice came out so low as she gulped down the lump of hurt realizing his rejection to not kiss her, embarrassment shot in her eyes realizing how shamelessly she'd taken a initiative again but he stepped back.
"it's ok"Arnav smiled at her trying to remove the lines of embarrassment from her face and she gulped curling her lips with a faint, plain smile, "Thank you Riya'Thanks for giving me chance to prove myself" Became aware of the deep taut silence he'd broken it with his voice and a smile and finally she'd lifted up her gaze meeting with him, "you deserve it.
She'd smiled and this time whole heartedly trying to shrug the momentary hurt by his rejection to kiss her.
After signing the few important documents Arnav flew out her office'He didn't know why he reacts in this way? She'd thrown herself at him taking the initiative and he stepped back'he rejected her without realizing it could damage his plan but he didn't know what'd happened to him when Khushi's face came in front of his eyes'he couldn't think anything except Her'he realized he didn't want anyone but her in his arms'he didn't want to kiss anyone but Khushi.
He took a deep shuddering breath realizing finally he'd been reached at home..he tapped the door impatiently and when it had opened, her face has come into his view, her same shining eyes with happiness to see him back, her smiling lips, her glowing face'He'd realized she is the only girl whom he desire 'she is the only girl who has the guts to bring out the passion from his heart.
"I know you surely take out some time for me"
Khushi had smiled to see him stepping into the room and then she couldn't say anything as pulling her demandingly in his arms he'd pressed his lips on her taking them into a deep kiss.
