Present day, in New York, (refer to part 4, if forgotten by now.)

recap: Viren and Jeevika had come to visit Virat and Manvi who have been away from their whole family since they defied their elders and got married.

It was Viren's last week in US and they were enjoying time together, all four of them, on a beach in Hawai. They were having lunch under the sun on a beach-side restaurant.

"Bhai, you have got to extend your trip by another few days. I cannot believe you guys are leaving already." Virat tried to convince his bhai and bhabhi to stay back. They were scheduled to leave to Chandighar as Viren had finished up the assignment he had come for.

"Kyu bhai? What is wrong with Chandighar?" Viren asked with a chuckle.

"Nothing is wrong bhai, we will miss you guys, the last few days have been so fun, patha nahi kab milenge phir." Virat replied with a disappointed face as Manvi put her hand over his.

"Phir milne ki baat tab aayegi jab hum bichdenge, kyu Jeevika?" Viren winked.

"Matlab?" Virat asked narrowing his eyebrows.

"Okay, I was going to wait until your birthday next week, but I cannot hide this anymore, you guys are coming with us to Chandighar!!!!!!" Viren announced.

"What?? But bhai!?" Virat looked shocked. There was nothing he wanted more than meeting the rest of his family, but his dadaji had disowned him and instructed him to never enter the house again.

"But Vut kuch nahi, Dadaji personally asked me to bring you guys home." Viren assured them.

"Bhai, don't kid with me." Virat said shaking his head. "You are kidding!" "You are not kidding?"

Viren shook his head "nope!"

"Dadaji seriously wanted us to come back home???" Virat kept repeating it as if he stops chanting, this news will evaporate into thin air. He looked shocked and excited in anticipation. This was really happening.

"Haan mere bhai, this is my birthday gift to you!!!. Abhi kuch mat bol, bas ake gaye lagale apne bhai ko." Viren stood up and hugged his brother.

"This is going to be so amazing, Manvi?? hain na??" Virat turned towards Manvi excitedly.

"Yes Virat, this is so awesome, I know how long you have been waiting for this day." Saying this she hugged him too, looking at Viren puzzled.

Pulling away, she asked "But jiju, how come suddenly, I mean how did you convince them?"

"Umm..woh Manvi actually.."' Viren stammered making everyone very curious, they all turned to him and were looking at him for an answer.

"I told them you were pregnant Manvi." he blurted out.

"WHAT???" everybody looked at him with their mouths wide open.

"Bhai?"

"Jiju??"

"Viren???"

Virat, Manvi and Jeevika all of them screamed together as Viren plugged his ears with his fingers.

"Wait, Manvi? are you …….??" Virat asked her.

"Ofcourse not.." Manvi held her head

"Woh, I am sorry Virat, I wanted to end this cold war forever, you guys getting hurt here and them feeling guilty over there. Isiliye I had to say something like this, they were really over the top ecstatic when I told them this and you know Jeevika is pregnant, so they were very excited that they were going to welcome two grandchildren very soon. I am sorry, but once everyone is together, we can tell them, it will all be fine. I will take the full responsibility for lying."

"Par bhai? This is not right, we are cheating them."

"Virat, everything is fair in love. Please zyada mat soch, just play along."

"hmphh! Hope this doesn't end badly." Virat sighed.

"Nahi yaar, trust me nothing will happen aur waise..."

"Kya??"

"...it wouldn't be a lie if you guys work on it, you know what I mean. Kyu?? I think you guys are ready for the next step, aren't you??" Viren nudged Virat, who looked at a blushing Manvi.

"haan Mannu we can be pregnant together, it will be so much fun!" Jeevika added

"Diii!"

"Hey Baby! Happy Valentine's day!" Virat softly touched Manvi's cheek.

"Thank you. Happy Valentine's day to you too." A half asleep Manvi hugged Virat by putting her hands around his neck and cuddling in tightly. "Abhi so ne do." She said going back to sleep.

"Manvi, utto, we have a flight to catch remember?" he stroked her hair gently.

"No, we don't" Manvi put the blanket on her face.

"Yes we do baby. Wake up sleepy head!!" he pulled off the blanket and Manvi sat up grumpily.

"Virat, abhi toh bohot time hai, why did you wake me up so early?" Manvi asked rubbing her eyes and looking at the watch.

"Actually I wanted today to be really special, but sadly, we will be in the flight all day." Virat made a puppy face.

Manvi smiled. "Hmm.. that's ok, I don't care as long as I am with you. I love you!" she finally shugged away her sleep and kissed his cheek. She looked around to see that he had ordered breakfast and there was a big bunch of red roses by the bed.

"Awww….Virat, you are so sweet. I love you so much!!" she flung herself into his arms and Virat kissed her hair gently. "I love you more!" he said starting to play with her hair; he pushed all of it aside gently and started placing kisses on her neckline as his hand moved down her body sensuously. Manvi groaned gently at his touch and stopped him "Viraaat!! Kya kar rahe ho? we need to leave."

"what do you think I am doing?" he climbed on top of her, moved her hands away, and started kissing her lips. "Manvi!" he called her in between his kisses that were getting more and more passionate. "How do you feel about having a baby?" he asked. Manvi froze. Sensing this, Virat moved up studying her face.

"You don't want to?" he asked.

"Nahi Virat, nothing like that. I have always dreamed of having kids, more than one actually." She blushed sitting up beside him. She held his hand and smiled. "Is this because of what Jiju said?"

"Nahi pagli, I somehow did not think about it before yesterday, but I look at bhai and bhabi and they are so excited, it just feels like the next logical step. Maybe we should think about it too….."

"Hmm…" Manvi looked down blushing.

"Itna Sharma kyu rahi ho..?"

"I need to get ready" she freed her hands from his and slipped away into the shower to get ready and Virat followed her.

It was morning time in Chandighar and the Vadhera house seemed decorated like it was diwali. The members of the house were extremely excited and were running around making arrangements to welcome the youngest Vadhera couple in the family- Virat and Manvi along with Viren and Jeevika.

Virat and Manvi were sitting in the back and were looking at each other.Manvi was looking outside the window, very nervous, she didn't know how they would react seeing her. They were so upset with her and Virat the last time, so upset that dadaji had asked them to leave and never ever show him their face. Would they really accept her? She felt Virat squeeze her hand assuringly to calm her agitated nerves. "Don't worry Manvi, they will love you."

"Virat, what if they find out that I am not pregnant, they will become more angry than they started out with." Manvi frowned.

"Manvi, jo hoga. Dekha jayega, just be yourself. And waise bhi…." He leaned in and said something in her ear "..after that little rendezvous shower we had back in the hotel, maybe we just got lucky."

"Virat!!?" she pushed a grinning Virat away from her.

Virat and Manvi stepped down the car to a grand welcome at the entrance, the ladies were waiting to usher them in with thalis and flowers. Virat stepped in holding Manvi's hand and hugged his mom who broke down n seeing him, he held his mom and comforted her. Manvi looked at Virat, who was crying, they were tears of happiness- happiness for having come home, to his family, after such a long time. His chachi and chachu were next in line. He then looked at his dadaji, who was silently standing a bit away from all the commotion. Virat walked upto him and touched his feet, dadaji also became very emotional and hugged him tightly. Virat's joy grew no bounds, he did not even try to stop his tears that were over-flowing at this point.

"Beta, mera maan rakne ke liye shukriya, jis tarah se maine tum ko ghar se nikhal diya tha, mujhe nahi laga tum kabhi laut ke aaoge." He said.

His eyes refectly proudness, for his grandson, who had become so successful that they began to be known by his name. He patted him and hugged his back again. "Tume deekna ka bohot man kiya tha beta." He confessed.

"Mujhe bhi dadaji, I don't even know how I managed to stay away without you all for so long."

After exchanging some pleasantries, Virat extended his hand towards Manvi, who came and stood before him and dadaji.

"Namaste dadaji.." she greeted him by touching his feet. He moved away a little bit, which didn't do unnoticed by Virat and Manvi. "Bless you beta, hope you have a good stay here." He said and walked away. Swamini bua gave her similar kind of treatment. It seemed like they both were willing to have her only for the sake of Virat.

Virat smiled at her "It's ok, give them some time." He said and took her to his mom who cupped her face and kissed her forehead. "Beta, I am sorry I couldn't stand up for both of you, I am so happy that you stood by Virat and helped him through everything and you both are what you are today. And more over you are going to be parents soon." She hugged her lovingly as Manvi and Virat exchanged a 'we are so dead' look.
