Firstly, I am an outrageous and inexcusable jerk, yes, that's what I am for not having read, and having postponed reading this incredible, most remarkable fiction for so many useless days!
Secondly, come here, Let me love you for this, this extraordinary journey that you've put me through for these past few days since I've started to read SAY. I thank my finest stars that on that one auspicious moment, late one night, I was driven to reading this, and I must tell you how irresistible it is in a whole package!😃
Fari, now although I knew you were a brilliant with words, what I didn't know was the level of brilliance your writing could take and the amount of astounded wonder I would be left with, with each passing chapter! You have this amazing capability in weaving such unique and complex emotions and wrap them carefully together into a chapter, and the capability to use intricate details that form the crux of the story and goes on to say Something About Them (Arnav and Khushi)⭐️
I love the fact that you've had them know each other since a prominent part of their childhood and them being nemesis. It just adds so much to a story given the popular notion that "The first step to Love is always Hate" but love comes after being tried and tested and seasoned and experimented with, so I obviously wasn't expecting Khushi to go pounce on Arnav the moment she met him after an enduring gap of 10 bloody years. She was shocked to meet him, and he was...well shock is a pathetic understatement to what Arnav felt when he was enlightened of who she actually was. Little did he know how that "Something About Her" would attract him like chocolate does me :D and there was no escaping it, no matter what he did. It took him by surprise how someone as tomboyish as Khushi could turn into a beauty that she was. Shocking indeed.
He tried avoiding the building sense of frustrating attraction within him by shoving her with rudeness, allowing La to openly flirt and submit herself to him, but to what avail? His heart finally went back and stopped at Khushi. His trials of keeping away from her get harder and he also tries using his bro-code with Rohan to not fall for the most beautiful golden orbs, but he was shamelessly getting himself delve deeper into those very orbs.😳
Fari, I literally laughed my ass off when he said- isn't your dress too short! Like really? Arnav, you are saying this? Roaming with half naked models all the time and when it comes to Khushi, he just had to bring some morals into picture while he himself is zilch in that field. Very hypocritical, Arnav. But at the same time, it was superduper adorable how possessiveness had started to kick in right from the very beginning and him feeling the need to protect her.

THUD!!! I died when I read that!
So I knew that the girl had to harbor feelings for the one boy she knew all her life, even though they were enemies at face, but in her heart of hearts, she had to hide those brimming feelings that started to erupt from a age so young! :') She was scared to admit it to herself even, and I can sympathize why. Given how Arnav was/is/ and will be for her, she couldn't risk ever voicing them and she thought he hated her. Silly girl!
The both of them find solace and comfort in the presence of one person- Rohan, in whose sharing, they always fought. haha!😆
I love love love how at every moment Arnav seems enticed by her and wants to do her lips! ☺️
Isn't Khushi such a pampered, pampered princess? I love her equations with Rohan and Payal. She surely is the apple of their eyes and they seem to want to do anything, literally anything for her! aww! :)
What is it with Khushi's history, Fari? You have not explored that until now, and I wanna know why everyone is always so wary of her being anybody's bride. (or did I miss it in any of the updates? Oh I must check again)
Khushi giving Arnav vocabulary lessons was hilarious, and Arnav prolonging the conversation to fornication was even more hilarious! I was in splits, Fari!!😆
The farm house scene got all the more exciting when Khushi had only spite for her best friend for clinging on so close to Arnav! Oh My God, I felt like I was watching this tigress come alive and ready to pounce on La any moment, because she seemed to have marked her territory and La was clearly sailing in uncharted waters and when she kissed him, I thought to myself- You are bloody dead woman! :P
I wanted Rohan and Anjali to be set up from the start of the story and you gave me just that! You know it makes it all the more better for Anji to be busy with a real man so as to keep her interfering steps from ever trodding upon Arnav and Khushi if ever, in future :D Yes, I'm a kamini. :P
Oh Oh, their financial conditions weren't as good as Khushi thought them to be and now they have to sell their house to keep up with their other expenses and settle for a house much smaller. Khushi obviously would have flared up. I would too, if I were in her place. Your home is where you spend most of your life and when a part of your life is snatched away from you, it is almost like you can't breathe!
Arnav and Khushi's conversation among the gulmohars are something to cherish throughout the FF. It's like they celebrate about-to-fall-in-love under the shade of those very trees.
The party turned out to be more eventful than anticipated and Khushi almost got herself on the verge of getting assaulted! :O That Karan guy has all my insults balled and thrown at him right at the guts!
Arnav's concern that grew after that incident had me tingly all over! This man will be the death of me one day! You paint him so perfectly Fari, that it is hard to resist!
Amidst all my ranting, I forgot to tell you exactly how much I love that you take so much effort and carefully select clothes for her that literally blow Arnav off his mind! Plus they are so sexy and you have an amazing sense of clothing! <3 Love you some more for that!
First kiss mumbling actually led to her VERY OWN FIRST KISS! Omg I was hyperventilating when I read that and mind you when i say Fari.. it was really late at night when I was reading that!
Imagine the tingles and the torture you put me through for letting Khushi run away! :P
That kiss was soo dreamy! It transported me right into another world!
One thing led to another, and Khushi then started to doubt his intentions on kissing her and started to avoid him! Oh typical Khushi!
Their nighttime adventure was SO SEXY! Give me more nighttime outings like these and my love for you will just increase more and more than it is now.
They were interrupted by our dear Akaash and Payal and only to discover what? That they both have a thing for each other! Omg I actually love the way you've shaped Akaash and Payal here. They have their own significant love story blooming but amidst all their circumstances, we have our ArHi's sweet love budding as well. their love story has their many moments starting with Arnav and his hate for commitments and marriage and love, clearly because of the torments of his past and its demons that still haunt him! Khushi on the other hand is slowly stating to feel the love for him topple over the top and fall generously over her, which led her to confess her love for him!
My gust of wind update was by far THE BEST! Because it had Khushi talk all the nonsensical (for Arnav ) things which drove him up the wall, and had me laughing! It also brought out the animal possessiveness in Arnav when he saw the cardigan which meant she still bore the scars of that horrific night.
Their slow teasing that started after that had me blush to the roots of my hair fari! What is this sweet torture you subject me to? I'm not complaining. No No..!
He started to possess his right over her by marking her as his, in his mind, choosing colors for her and she so sweetly acceded to it, behaving like a typical boyfriend does, an adorable love sick puppy!
What only bothers me is he still doesn't believe in love. How would Khushi change that notion of his and then he would freely fall head over heels in love with her?
But just as they had started to feel the first bouts of love being showered generously upon them, their favorite best friend- Misunderstanding crops up.
Arnav mistook the kundali to be Khushi's and reacted in a way that was seriously not expected (though I will admit it was hot, because I'm a desperate girl who loves reading romance :P)
What actually blew me off my wits was- Arnav kissed la!?
Alright I agree he was fighting his own demons while doing so, BUT SERIOUSLY LA?
That clingy, desperate, woman?
and as fate had it, Khushi noticed them only snogging and not Arnav backing off :'(
My heart goes out to Khushi and how she felt after that huge blow that blew right in her face! She was so heartbroken and shattered because like I said they'd almost begun to feel like a couple to me. Their attraction passed everything else and turned into something much more stronger and something that you'd think was here to stay, so Khushi's reaction was completely justified!
I'm telling you Fari, I mean it when i say that you've put me through a roller coaster ride of an emotional journey right from the word Go!
SAY has this gripping edge to it that has you desperately wanting to read the next part. And trust me when i say, I'm gonna join forces with Di and Saiyu to pester you for updates! :D
I love the story very, very much and I'm so glad you decided to write this down.
