Chapter 5

Meanwhile as khushi entered the room, she was in pieces and had no strength, she was sad, upset depressed hurt all at once, and what could you expect from her, any wife would feel the way she is feeling right now, as she walked in Arnav was on his lap top, he looked up at her and smiled, but she gave him a blank look and then didn't say much to him, feeling depressed, she opened the cupboard and remove her nigh clothes, and went in, Arnav find it strange, after some time she came out with the towel drying her hair, Arnav smiled, and then came towards, and pulled her close and said

Arnav: I always love it when u come out of a shower (he said with a smile on his face)

Khushi looked here and there, very uncomfortable with him, she let herself loose and said in a distorted voice

Khushi: arnavji I am tired can I sleep

Arnav let go and then nodded and then she got into her side of the bed and turned the other way and shut her eyes, Arnav was finding this a bit to weird, as he shut of the lights she let out a tear from her eyes, but didnt let Arnav know that she sad and was crying, the night was hard to pass as khushi desperately waited for it to become morning, she hoped that it was all a big dream a night mare and that when she would wake up, she would be in her arnavji's arms safe and protected and they would be happy in their little small world, she recalled their first night, the day they were in the room, and pretended because of shyam and his camera stunt, how Arnav pulled the blanket over them and they slept underneath it, how they heads clunked and then cuddled into each other and khushi told him, how she loved this little small world that they had created with each other, oh how she wished that they would sleep under the bed sheet with each other and forget what was going on in the outside world, it would be just him and her, and their love for one another, but unfortunately it wasn't like this, devi maya had other plans ,Arnav was arrav's father and the DNA test said so, so there is nothing that could be done about it, accept get Arnav and arrav close to each other and then leave the decision on fate, that was the right thing to do according to her, but she knew sheetal had other plans, she was right in her own way, she knew her arnavji and his anger and sheetal was right that if he found out he would take arrav away from her, at this point khushi decided to rest and think of a way to get out of this new curve that life had thrown at her,

The night passed by and it was soon morning, she woke up to see Arnav holding her hand, she smiled at him, he looked so innocent how she wanted to bend down and just peck his fore head, but then the memory of what happened came back into her mind and she refrained and left his hand and went to the wash room and subsequently down to the kitchen to make tea for everyone,

As she walked down she met payal and anjili, who were also in the kitchen chattering away,

Anjili: oh khushiji good u have come,

Khushi pretended to smile and then went on with her chores, of the usual routine, as she made tea, and brought it out arrav and sheetal came down, and sat themselves on the chair sheetal looked at khushi and she looked back at her and then sheetal said

Sheetal: khushi do u need any help

Khushi: (trying to be nice) no its ok, I will manage

Sheetal smiled at khushi's discomfort, arrav looked at khushi who was so out of place, he saw the hurt in her eyes, and for some reason it made him feel sad and depressed but he didn't show it on his face, as they sat down for break fast in a few seconds, Arnav came down and sat next to khushi, he smiled at her and she smiled back looking a little uncomfortable, it didn't go unnoticed by Arnav or sheetal and even arrav, but no one said a word, after they finished eating they all went of to work, sheetal went to drop arrav to the bus stop meanwhile khushi cleaned all the plates and got on with all her chores for the day when sheetal returned she went to khushi who was busy folding arnav's clothes,

Sheetal: (hesitating) khushi thanks for not telling arnav

Khushi: (looked up at her and then said in a rather sad voice yet firm) sheetalji please can u go away from here

Sheetal nodded looking dejected and then left from the room, khushi shut the door and then again started to cry, she had a brake down and was sad, she was in such a bad position that even jalebies weren't going to make her happy, but she wiped her tears and got up and tried to remain strong, as she went infront of the devi maya's idle and prayed with her whole heart

Khushi to devi maya: hey devi maya, please hume Shakti do, show me the right way to solve this problem, please ur my only hope,

scroll down for the next chapter, guys i put 2 chapters in this update, cuz the above chapter was really sad, and i felt so bad for khushi, i dont want to leave like this a sad update and so i decided 2 update 2 hope thats ok

Chapter 6

Sheetal left for office, she was in arnav's cabin as they discussed about the new collection that was coming up

Arnav: so sheetal when cani see these designs (he said looking at the file)

Sheetal: arnav surely by the end of this week

Arnav nodded, they were looking at some fabrics, when sheetal's phone started to vibrate, she looked at the screen and then was a bit startled arnav noticed the look on her face and casually asked her

Sheetal: whats up all ok

Sheetal: (smiled and said) ya arnav, its from arrav's school, I wonder why they are calling

She picked up the phone and then spoke

Sheetal: heloo…. Yes mam…. Ohk…I wish u told me mam before, ok no problem I will arrange something for him… thank you

She ended the call and looked at a questionable arnav and then said

Sheetal: the bus is on strike the drivers took a strike suddenly, so school called to say that we should pick the kids up on our own

Arnav: ok, sheetal no problem, what time do u have to go

Sheetal: at 2 his school finishes

Arnav: oh but the French clients are scheduled for a meeting at that time, and its important for u to be there

Sheetal: I am sorry arnav but how can I help it

Arnav: no problem , khushi can pick him from school

Sheetal: (shocked) what khushi but…

Arnav: don't worry she can pick him, he will be fine

And before sheetal could say anything he picked up the phone and dialed khushi

Arnav: hello khushi…. Can u pick up arrav from school…. Ya she is in a meeting…. Thanks (he smiled)

Arnav: there problem solves

Sheetal nodded but looked tensed and worried, this was off her plan and she didn't know the out come, she brushed the thought off and then concentrated on her work

Back home, khushi finished preparing lunch and then headed to arrav's school to pick him up, as she stood outside the gate, the bell rang and then the kids came running out to their parents, arrav came walking out and was shocked to see khushi, he was happy to see her but didn't show it, arrav walked towards her and said

Arrav: howcome you came, I thought mom would come

Khushi: woh ur mom is busy and is working, so I am here, lets go home (she said with a smile)

Arrav nodded his head and as they walked out of school, they saw a child a boy of arrav's age from his class, he ran to his father and hugged him,

Dad: son did u have a good day

Son: yes dad I did, I learned to fractions

Dad: wow that's cool, come on lets go home

He smiled and held his sons hand and took him towards the car, arrav and khushi both looked at th child, arrav looked sad and depressed, and this didn't go unnoticed by khushi who was now looking at the child with great thought,

Arnav snapped out of it and then looked at khushi and said

Arnav: lets go

Khushi nodded and then they walked towards the car and went home

Through out the ride back home both arrav and khushi looked at each other, both pretending to not look at one another, as khushi thought on how arrav was so unlucky she felt bad for him, because his father was right in front of him, and he never knew who he was, she knew the importance of parents, she too lost her own, and was lucky that her amma babuji took her in, meanwhile arrav, looked at khushi, he knew what was going on in her mind, she was pretending to be happy but wasn't, she was sad, because of the trap sheetal had played on her to make her believe in whatever she wanted to, both were lost, but neither could take the suffocating silence that was in the air, so khushi said

Khushi: arrav how was ur day

Arrav: it was fine

There conversation was very short as they reached home they quietly walked in ad khushi went to her room, and arrav went to his

so guys this was it, whats going 2 happen next, will khushi tell arnav, and what will arrav do, will sheetal suceed in her mission, stay tuned to find out
