He stood there rooted, trying to get a hold of himself and understanding what was going around him. Was it a
black out or something else? Did somebody cursed him orwas he just having a bad day? He decided to go back to
his car. All of a sudden he remembered about her. He called out her name, but nobody responded. He was now
sure that she was in some kind of danger. Suddenly he saw a light hitting the floor from a distance. He
started to move towards the light. He suddenly stopped after hitting something. He realized that he was in
front of a closed door and the light was coming from the room. He slowly turned the knob and opened the
door. He saw a table in the middle with a lilted candle. Before he could analyze the room more, he felt something against his eyes. Somebody closed his eyes with their hands and lead him up to the middle of the room. He immediately recognized the touch. After a couple of seconds, his eyes were opened. He looked hard
and was astonished seeing the room. The room was filled with different kinds of birthday balloons, red rose
petals, and lilted candles all over the room. There was a heart shaped chocolate cake with his name and candle
on it. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to u". He surprisingly listened as the sweet voice sang the song and hugged him from the back. He could recognize the voice and touch even in his sleep. "pasand aya". He
turned around facing her beautiful face and smiled back at her saying "bohat". "So madam subah se issliye gayab thi aur maine socha ki tum mere b'day bhool gayi". He told her with a thrilled tone. "Then I must be the worst girlfriend in the world" she replied him back with a teasing smile. "No doubt about that". Both of them burst into a laugh and hugged again. "To agar apki narazgi khatam hogayi tho, jaake cake kate.i'm starving coz I didn't eat anything from noon". "Why"? he asked her concernedly. "Well I got too busy thinking for a nice birthday gift for my boyfirend. So I didn't get any time."she said sheepishly. "How many times I've told u to eat in time and take care of yourself". He said angrily and turned around. "Now you are being the worst boyfriend in the world. I did this much 4 u and this is how u treats me". She also snapped at him and turns around. Both of them don't say anything for some time. Finally she gave up." ok baba I'm sorry. From now on I'll do whatever u say". She stood in front of him holding her ears and makes a puppy face. "Ok, I'm sorry too. Ab chalo." Saying this he holds her and walks up to the table. He cuts the cake and feeds her first. Then they have the dinner. He was surprised that she
remembered all his favorite food and ordered it for him. He realized he never were this happy before and
never had such a beautiful birthday before. He was actually thanking god for bringing her into his life
and changing him for good. "kis soch mein doob gaye ho tum? Kahin kissi ladki ki bare mein to nahi soch rahe
ho?" she asked him when she saw him looking the roof and smiling. He was about to say no but decided against
it just to tease her. " hain koi khubsorat". He said with a grin on his face. She suddenly got alerted by
this answer, but failed to understand that he was just teasing her. "Is she beautiful" she asked him in a low
sad tone to make sure that he wasn't serious. "Oh yeah very much. In fact she is bold and beautiful. Beauty
with brains". Her brown eyes widened and became red as she stared at him jealously. "How dare u think about
another woman and talk about her in front of me". Now he understood that he really got into her nerves. "Hey
when did I say another woman? I was talking about u my jaan. How could I think about some one else when you
are with me?" he tried to cool her down. "So that means u do think about another woman when I'm not with you."
She spitted fire once again, not backing down at all. "No, no no. that's not what I mean" he now
regretting what he said earlier. "Then what did u mean". She asked him again with an angry voice. "Honey, I was just teasing you. I'm sorry if I hurt u" his face was covered with guilty and sadness as he said to her
almost pleading. "U should be for the sake of ur health. But I know u won't do anything like that" she
said as she tried to cheer him up. They both ended up in a laugh again. "But u know what u look good when u
get mad". He said with his usual charming smile. "So that means I don't look cute when I'm not angry." Oh
noo now don't start again" he said horrifyingly. She laughed at his face expression. "But you know what u
also look good when you are scared." "Hey I always look good. That's why girls line up for me." He said
proudly. "What" she jumped out of the chair hearing this. "Oh no, no, no I meant u." "Hey, hey, I wasn't
the one who ran after u. you were the one." She told him in a reminding tone. "Did u took some oath that u
would make my birthday a hell by arguing." "No I didn't." she said as she tasted the dessert. "Ok enough
with the arguments. Let's go for a walk on the beach side." They both exists the restaurant and walks hand
in hand on the beach. "It's so beautiful here." she sighed as she looked up the sky and the moon who was
trying to peek through the thick clouds. "Not more than u honey." Do really think u could impress me with these
compliments." "It worked me so far" he told her putting his charming smile again. She put her head on his
shoulders and both of them started walking in the moonlit night. Anybody who watched them could have
easily guessed how much they were in love with each other. Unfortunately the night was the only witness now. 'This is the perfect opportunity.' He became nervous as he thought about what he was going to do now. He stooped walking all of a sudden. She raised her head and looked at him with a confused face as why he stopped all of a sudden. "I was thinking about something for a couple of days." He told her abruptly. "What?" she asked him standing in front of him. "you know ever since u came into my life, I've changed for good. Even though it's been only for a couple of months. Now I can't imagine my life without you." She smiled at her face as he told her this because this exactly what she wanted to hear from him. "So I was thinking, uhhh…. Hmm I was thinking, you know." He was stammering now. He didn't know how to say it to her. "Tell me what you want to say to me." She encouraged him to continue further. He closed his eyes for a second and took a deep breath. Before she could think or say some thing else, he got down on one of his knees and took out the ring in his finger and with a nervous voice asked her, "MISS KASHISH SINHA, WILL U MARRY ME?" She stood there confusingly not knowing what to do or say and stared at him and the ring one by one. "Say something honey." His voice took her back to reality, as she realized he was still on his knees and was pointing the ring towards her. The word came out of her mouth before she could think what was going around her. "YES." She replied in a low voice. He wasn't sure if he heard it properly. So he asked her again to make sure. "Did u say yes?" She nodded her head and looked down the shyly. "Omg I can't believe this." his happiness met no boundaries. "U made me so happy today. Thanks honey" he said with a big smile as he slipped the ring into her finger. "I don't have a new ring right now. But promise I'll buy u a good one tomorrow." She smiled at his silliness and hugged him tightly. It started raining as it was a gift from god for the couple who was so much in love. "Can I have dance with my fianc?" he asked her pointing his hands towards her. "With all my pleasure." They started dancing in the tunes of rain as she put her hand in his.
