"Mama, I'm home". A tired Kripa yelled as soon as she entered the house. "why r u shouting. Main yahan kitchen main ho" saying this middle aged woman came out of the kithen. She is veena garewal. Kripa's mom.
Kripa : hey mama
Veena : sari shopping ho gayi
Kripa : ha lekin mujhe kuch nahi mila. I didin't like anything.
Veena: ab kya karogi tum
Kripa:I'mm gonna go to sum other store tomorrow
Venna suddenly notices her dress and asks her what happened.
Kripa: oh pucho mat mama. It's long story.
Venna: teek jakke kapade badal ke aao.
Kripa goes to her room and changes and comes bach to the living room where her mom is watching tv.
Kripa: mama maine app ko subh nahi dekha. Kahan gaye the aap.
Veena:(in a low and sad tone) mandir gayi thi. Tum kya bhool gayi aaj k adin.
Kripa comes and sits besides her mom whi was going cry at any moment.
Kripa( in a sad voice) kya mama, is baar bhi.itna sab kuch hone ke baad bhi aap har saal is din yehi karti hai.
Veena: aur main kya karu. He forgot us that doesn't mean we also have to.i didn't give birth to him 28 yrs ago just to forget him.
She starts crying saying this and kripa also cries.
Kripa: lekin kab tak aap is viswas mein rehenge ki wo ek din wapas aajayege?
Venna: mujhe pura yakeen hai.
Seeing her mother's determined face, kripa there is nothing that can change her mind so she gave up.
Kripa: to kya manga aapne bagwan se?
Veena: wahi jo har maa mangti hai. Uski bache jahan bhi ho khush rahe.
Kripa: waise mama kash di ko bhi yaad tha aaj ka din.
Veena: (turns around surprisingly) kya usse yaad tha. Haan waise woh bhool kaise sakti hain.
Kripa: lagta hai kafi ro rahi thi kaal raat ko. Aur wahi kiy ajo usually karti hai. gusse main kamre mein jo kuch saman tha woh sab thod diya.
Veena: kya. Yeh tumne pehele kyu nahi bataya. Kitni baar kaha hein ki yeh sab bandh karo.lekin kabhi kissi ki baat nahi sunti.
Kripa: I know. I think u should call her. Maybe she'll feel better.
Saying this kripa takes the phone and gives it to mama.
Veena takes it and calls kashish.
Kashish: hello
Veena : kashish beta. Kaise ho tum
Kashish: main teek ho mama aap kaisi ho.
[kashish considers veena as her own mom so calls her mama]
veena: main bhi teek hu. aur yeh main kya sun rahi hu. Kya hu kaal rat ko?
Kashish: ( trying to search 4 words as she didn't know what to say) bas…… wo kuch nahi mama…… bas aisi hi….. kuch purani baatein yaad agayi
Venna: kya kashish. Tumhein pata hain na isse dusero ko kitni takleef hoti hain.
Kashish: I'm sorry mama. I promise I won't do it again. Ok .to aap mandir gayi subah
Veena: haan gayi thi .
Kashish: to teek hain. Main rakhti hon mujhe kal ki ek presentation ki tayarian karni hain.
Aapse baad mein baat karthi hoon. Ok bye
Veena : teek hain bye aapna khyal rakna .
Kashish: I will aur aap bhi.
Veena: ok bye.
Venna hangs up the phne.
Kripa: how's she.
Veena: she doesn't sound that good to me.
Kripa: how can she. She still thinks it's all her fault.
Veena: upperwale par bharossa rahko.wahi ek rasta dikhayega.
Kripa: ya. Anywayz I'm gonna go get some rest. Kal subah office jana hai na.
Venna: teek hai.
Cut to kashish
Some shopping bags were lying in a bed lazily. It looked like some body was too tired to take out all the clothes and put it neatly in the closet. The room was bit cold too as the cool breeze of a Sunday evening came through the fully opened window as it was raining slightly. Streets were mostly empty. Some preferred to crawl up to their bed & put a blanket on them, while others preferred to catch up on the new movies. But all of them cursed the rain, as it ruined the only evening where they could go out and have fun with their families before returning back to another hectic and busy week with work and studies. But the weather has ruined everything.
A small smile appeared on the corner of her lips as she watched some kids playing in the rain despite of the yelling from their mothers. She even forgot the fact that she was getting wet as she was standing near the window. "How lucky they r" kashsh thought in her mind. They don't need to know any worries ok life and can completely enjoy the most beautiful gift of nature. Rain. Her smile grew wider as she remembered how much she loved rain & the smell of the earth after it rained. Her smile turned to a blush which made her cheeks go red as she remembered how much HE hated to get wet but loved to dance with her in the rain. 😳😳😳

FLASHBACK
The loud rap music coming from the car and the speed at which it was going clearly showed how much frustrated the driver was. He ignored the sound of the horns of other cars as he crossed an intersection in red light. "How could she" that's the only thought he was having right now. It was 11.15pm. only 45 minutes before the end of this day. She still didn't called him and told him what he wanted to hear. 'I thought she would be the first one to call me. But now its almost the end of the day. She seems to completely forget the importance of today. How will she when she is busy partying with her friends, where he is at home doing nothing on his birthday expect thinking abt her'. He didn't even go to the opening of the new hottest club in town for which he had a VIP ticket. Normally he would've done anything to go there. He still could remember the surprised face of his friend when he rejected that offer. This wasn't like him at all. But he didn't feel disappointed at all because he thought he will be spending the day with her. But that didn't happened either. He didn't know how he felt when she told him that she has to go to one of her friends mehndi ceremony and then for a late night party. Bur she could've at least wished him. Only if she had agreed to go dinner with him, he would have showed the big surprise he hade for her. Time flew very fast. Now it was 11.45pm and he was in front of the sea blue restaurant near the beach. He remembered when she called him an hour ago to pick her up from the beach side restaurant where the party was organized as she was too tired to drive or call for a taxi. He parked the car since he didn't see her outside and decided to go inside. Surprisingly the restaurant was empty. He didn't see anyone at the reception. He wonder what happened to everyone or did he came to the wrong place. Suddenly all the light went off.
