Munchy, you conveyed the exact reason why Im sympathetic with the current track. The hardships of single motherhood and years of seperating your child from his father probably wasn't easy.

The show is definitly going to show sheetal as a negative character and the child not his at all, but what if it was true? what if it was his own son and sheetal had finally decided to tell Arnav the truth? Is it so wrong?

I wish they had not made sheetal a negative character and showed single motherhod in a new perspective with Arnav and Khushi learning to live with the sudden addition to their lives

but ofcourse this is Indian TV and the commercial success in the main objective. so we cant expect a realistic story can we?

Unlike the majority in this forum, my respect for Arnav and Khushi's love story would have increased had they showen both of them learning to cope with Arnav's history and his child from another woman.

I dont get what the major problem is with people here. How can anyone always want a happy relationship depicted onscreen? And who says that the relationship currently shown wont be happy if his past comes out?

Im seeing people write Shital instead of Sheetal which IMO is extremely offensive to all Sheetals and I guess to all single mothers :P

If Arnav IS Aravs father - then whats the big deal? We all know its Arnav-Khushi... weve all seen Khushis character (a tad too selfless) to know that she wont be hurt by it. How is it a betrayal to Khushi if Arnav has a past? Have people actually watched the show? Noone has a live in relationship to play board games... And I dont see how Sheetals character will affect Arnav-Khushi... If Dadi and her traffic signal hands couldnt do it, Shyam babua and his twitching couldnt do it and the big reveal about the past couldnt do it... why would an ex do it now?

This show depicts relations very well. Khushi was the adopted outsider in her family... i think its a great twist to see if she'll make space for Arav in her new family? Out of all of them, its Khushi who'll gel with him the most.

THATS If the writers have theballs to actually go with this story...

Coming to your OS...teehee writing it from the other womans point. ITs not really going to work here though... there was a large percentage of viewers anti-Anjali with the whole marriage and baby storyline. Theyre not going to see Sheetals story. Its all about Rabba Ves.

The main issue being ignored and what's being concentrated.. : Why can't Arhi have their ever after where they live happily forever and ever and ever and ever.

Being a single mother, the only strong pillar, a mother and a father at the same time-- no woman wants that. Be she a evil spawn or a pure one. Nobody wants to face a tough time ALONE, nobody wants to their child to be ALONE.

I'm glad for an insight through a wonderfully written OS and where the characters have been swapped. I have had no objection to the current track but don't know why it's being demoralized so much. How a child can destroy a relationship, I don't get the idea.

Yes I hope you get the point across too..But the deal is in the treatment of the subject.. I read someone posting that this particular team does not have the sensitivity to handle the subject (http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=3253815 - Hriju's response) and I agree with her.

If a child is treated with disdain even in passing ..it should be condemned.. I child is a child and if the CVs are taking that path. then they better understand what it entails and not treat it with anything other than utmost sincerity.

am really not liking it but what if it were true ???

what if Sheetal had really gone through being a single parent for so many years alone ???

and then having things being thrown on your face ... gosh this is really sad ...

And this is the perfect way to put your point across!!

It gives people a much needed different perspective!!

If this was the scenario in the show, we would have people wanting Sheetal to leave Arnav so that A & K can live a "happily ever after" together!!

While I do hope Arnav doesn't react this way in the show...I want the CV's to portray this track with maturity and not stupid comedy in between...because this track does have a lot of potential according to me!!

The pains of being a single mother beautifully portrayed...thanks for sharing this!😊

Bravo Munchy!!! 👏 👏 👏 Nice perspective. Being a single mother is the toughest thing in the world, and no one can vouch for that better than me. When your child asks where is my dad or why doesn't my dad call, that twinge of pain is the worst. Thank you Munchy for making me cry (silly I know) and thank you for making me re-appreciate that I am a single mother (and da** proud of it). 😉 😆 And as always, thank you for sharing your wonderful writing with us. 😃

I Loved it! Thanks for bringing the other side of the story. Why should Sheetal and Arav be hated just because they're disrupting ArHi's marital life? Maybe after reading Khushi's name in place of Sheetal people will actually understand Sheetal's character.
