Hello, KH Readers...

I had just been through this story...and had a few doubts regarding it. I was hoping if someone would help me navigate my way out of them..towards perfect understanding of this story.

i am posting those questions here...if anyone does know...i m hoping u wouldn't mind giving off ur preciious minutes to it..

i couldn't understand how are Devaki and Kashi 's being linked up? i mean i know abt ancestor part...but how otherwise? how r they similar? then...what did Kashi's father mean when hhe told about the story of Devaki to his children? what did he meant when he said...i know now..why Kashi's mother wnted to name her after Devaki. and then.. i couldn't understand the part where govindan asks kashi to leave home as well? he trusts his daughter rgt? there was something else to tht story...i know. but i just failed to figure tht out.

I am so glad I checked on this one by chance... Didn't know that you had opened up a fourth thread.

and what turn the events have taken... So the wild, indigenous plant was torn away and placed here! Somehow, its impossible to imagine her in this marble palace.

The moment he says its just you against the world was pretty emotional.

Its good to see more and more readers are connecting to KH. Because for me this is my favorite story and i so wish all who actually cherish reading good work must read it.

Now, about your doubts..

how are Devaki and Kashi 's being linked up?

Well, according to my understanding kashi is the reincarnation of Devaki. If you remember the dream that Arnav and Kashi shares this somehow bought me to this conclusion.This is why kashi is somehow similar to devaki.

what did Kashi's father mean when he told about the story of Devaki to his children? what did he meant when he said...i know now..why Kashi's mother wnted to name her after Devaki.

I guess kashi's father being the elder most in the illam and the most experienced somehow was able to see the similarities that Kashi possessed with Devaki. And, naming Kashi as Devaki was a suggestion given by her mother because may be somehow Devaki being a innocent was punished for those mistake which she din't ever commit and her mother wanted to get rid of these sins by naming her daughter as Devaki. May be...

govindan asks kashi to leave home as well? he trusts his daughter rgt?

Off course the father loved his daughter a lot and did trust her too , but may be he took this step for her benefit thinking she is better away from KH. Somehow may be he knew that it was best for kashi to leave KH. This house is linked with a lot of history and somehow he knew that his daughter couldn't be happy being in KH. And, just for her to be happy he send her away. He had already lost his son, his elder daughter living a life equivalent to a widow and now he wanted to save his younger daughter. I don't know how to say it but i have heard back there in kerala from my grand maa that some house can possess evil power and all. May be KH too... M quite confused my self , ...

These answers are entirely my point of view , these can be wrong.

Devi do correct me if m wrong somewhere and if m missing something important.

Hey its not payal over here, Kashi 's sister is Pallavi.

You might remember one of the previous chapter mentioned that no guys stay alive in KH. I don't actually remember the exact chapter nor the lines but i do remember that somewhere it was mentioned. It also said that any new men who were somehow related to the house they died due to some or the other reason. One way Mr. Namboothri is the only man who still lasts. And, he is the most experienced out there and he is now able to see it all. His son's death , then Pallavi's Fiance's death.. May be this is too a reason he wants both arnav and Kashi to leave. Somehow KH is not negativeky effecting just Kashi but it has already effected a lot of people leaving in KH. And, Kashi alone is a dancer while her brother was a singer and her sister too played veena somehow she is too related to music. But, kashi is different in every sense from her siblings , may be her father is able to see this too.

Her love, though, was all spent on her family' Love came with great cost' he knew not if she would let herself love anyone else as much as she loved those she already loved' whether she would ever allow herself to be so vulnerable'

And so, he had forced her hand'

It was a gamble'

He had to hope that for once in her life, his younger daughter would let go of her misguided loyalty and reach for her own hopes and dreams'

These lines somehow shows that the father wanted his daughter to leave the house because this house will not let her attain her own hopes and dreams. Being over there in KH she will never except that Arnav is the best choice for her. Her loyalty towards her family will never let her do that.

I hope this was help full, i'l again say these are my views. My take of the entire thing may or may not jell with what Devi had or have in her mind. As we say the characters belong as much as to the readers as to the authors. So, actually these are my version of the characters, be it Kashi or Mr. Namboothri or Devaki.

Rest we have to wait for the story to move forward and layer by layer when it unfolds we will get all our answers...
