Final Chapter

They didn't have much time to devise a plan.

What to do now?

Suddenly Arjun had an idea, he wasn't sure it will work hundred percent, but they had no other choice. He turned towards Rathore and Shree and asked them if they had any tear gas and gas masks with their equipments. Thankfully they had some with them.

"He's hiding in the extraction/AC vent, best thing we do, is we use some tear gas near the central ventilation fan to push it towards him. He'll feel abnormal, and wont be able to breathe, that way he'd get down from there and then we can attack him," he said to everyone present.

"Shree and Chotu, go and find where the central ventilation fan is located, and start the plan," Rathore said, "while me, Arjun and Riya will stay here."

In few minutes, Shree phoned to say that they had located the central ventilation system, and that they be putting the tear gas in it, however it will also affect everyone, due to which Rathore, Arjun and Riya wore the gas masks.

Like Arjun had planned, within a few minutes, the other criminal started coughing and jumped down. He wasn't prepared at all when Arjun jumped towards him and immobilized him. The bomb was found in time, and both bombs were diffused successfully by the bomb squad.

"Take him for interrogation," Arjun said by throwing the second suspects towards Chotu, after having beaten and confirmed from him that there was no other bomb.

Finally after solving the case, the whole ETF thanked the bomb squad for their help and were going to return back when they saw that Riya wasn't with them. Everyone looked for her, and was surprised to find her in the ambulance in which Mihir was, and she was busy chatting with him. Arjun didn't like the sight at all, but he could hardly drag Riya from there. However he could order her to return back so that they could leave for their office.

He went to the door of the ambulance,

"Agar tumhare bematlab baatein khatam ho gayi ho, to hum chale? Ya phir tum yehi rehna chahete ho?" he asked furiously.

Riya was surprised at this tone, and she didn't like it at all, and replied back turning towards Rathore, "Sir, would you mind if I don't return to the office and go with Mihir till the hospital, I feel responsible for his state?".

Arjun hated that Riya ignored him and bypassed him to talk straight to Rathore. He was fuming inside at her courage.

While at the same time, Shree, Chotu and Rathore were busy watching the nok- jhoks between Arjun and Riya and loved watching them. Rathore at last understood what was wrong with Arjun, and though he wanted Arjun to suffer a little bit, he also didn't want to push him too much.

So Rathore turned towards Riya, and refused her request that they needed to complete the final report, and that since she had a major hand in solving this case, she's be important for it.

Riya wanted to fight on this decision, but one look at Arjun's face, she decided to keep quiet. She turned towards Mihir, and gave him her phone number and asked him to call her back. Arjun wanted to strangle her when he heard her gave her number, but he controlled himself so as not to make a scene in front of everyone.

"To chale, Miss Riya," he said sarcastically, while silently motioning to Shree and Chotu to go with Rathore in his SUV.

Riya entered the SUV and was surprised to see that she was all alone with Mr. Khadoos. She'd pulled Shree and Chotu's ears for doing this to her, she thought to herself. Since she didn't want to talk with Arjun, she completely ignored him during the drive. Finally when they reached the parking, Arjun stopped the SUV and Riya couldn't waste any time to get out of the SUV. However to his surprise he locked the doors, and didn't let her out without finally letting know his thoughts.

"What are you doing?" Riya asked bravely, thought she knew that Arjun was going to eat her head up.

"What is wrong with you? You don't even know that man, yet you were chatting with him and giving him your number? Are you even from the ETF? Sometime I wonder at your intelligence," Arjun said rudely.

"Sir, like once you told me, I also hate that someone interfere in my personal matters, and I can talk with anyone I want. What do you care?" Riya replied back furiously.

Hearing this, completely broke Arjun's control, and he unlocked the doors and shouted a "Get out" to her.

Riya didn't waste anytime to run away from Arjun, and immediately rushed to the office, hoping that everyone else had already reached there, since she didn't want to be alone with Arjun anymore. To her dismay, she found out that no one had reached yet, she tried calling Shree asking his whereabouts.

"There has been a big accident infront, I doubt we'd be able to return to the office before at least one hour! Is there any problem?" asked Shree.

"Oh no, ab main kya karoun?" Riya said looking up asking God.

"What are you asking God? Do you really think he exists? And if he does, don't you think he has better work to do than listen to your rantings!" Arjun said calmly.

"Enough is enough, What does he think of himself, just because I don't reply back ever to him, he's surpassing his limits," Riya thought silently with anger.

"What is your problem Sir, mere piche kyun pare hain abb?" Riya asked angrily.

"What did you say? Mein tumhare piche? Tumhe kya lagta hein, mere paas koi aur kam nahin hein kya? You are overestimating yourself Miss Riya!" he replied back.

"Hain aap mere piche! Always shouting at me, if it concerns work, I accept fully, but nowadays you just need a reason to shout at me? Why do I do this, why do I do that? Why do I talk with a man? Why I give my phone number? Don't you think you are crossing your limits sir" Riya screamed at him.

Arjun was shocked at her words, and now that he was thinking about it, he had to acknowledge that it was the truth. For once he didn't have any words to say, Riya had managed to shut him up.

He didn't like to be found in such a position, hence completely changed the topic and asked Riya to go and do some work instead of wasting her time fighting with her senior.

However Riya wanted to enjoy her small victory for some more time, and hence grabbed his arm to prevent him from going away and turned him back to face her.

"Wow, the great Arjun ki bolti hi band," taunted Riya.

"Leave me, otherwise it won't be good for you," Arjun said menacingly.

"I'm not scared of you, jo karna hain karo! As long as you don't give me my answer I'm not letting you go!" Riya replied back but refused to let him go and continued grabbing his arm.

"I said leave me," Arjun barked at her.

But Riya stood adamantly refusing to budge.

Suddenly his big hands caught her shoulders, but he wasn't pushing her at all. She tried to say something, but his hard mouth cut off the words. He curled her into his body with a rigid arm at her back, and his mouth opened against her parted lips with the fury of a storm.

It wasn't premeditated. The feel of her against him had triggered a raging desire in him. He went in headfirst, without thinking of the consequences.

If he was helpless, so was she. As he enveloped her against him, her arms slid around his warm body under the jacket and her mouth answered the hunger of his. She made a husky little moan that apparently made matters worse, since his mouth became suddenly insistent.

A long, breathless moment later, he lifted his head.

"Not bad," he murmured softly. "But you could use a little practice. But don't you dare looking for someone else for more practice as long as I am here"

He looked in her astonished eyes, and knew that she was completely lost at his words.

"Do you need the words?" he asked gently while giving her a peck on her forehead. Riya was overjoyed with her feelings. So it was love, it had always been love, she thought smilingly and went to be embraced in his arms.
