Part 3

He had left her. She couldn't take it. She had always thought that he would be there with her forever. But today she was all alone. She had lost the love of her life. Or perhaps she thought so. She entered the room. THEIR room. But the THEIR no longer existed. It was her room now that was filled with his memories. Reveries she could only think of. She made her way to the room. One month...ot had been just one month since their marriage. It flew away like the gush of the wind. But this moment without him beside her,it felt as if the time wouldn't move.
She went around her room as the memories from the past flashed across her mind. Her sight fell on a photo on the side-table of her bed. It was theirs.
THEIR ROOM:
The photo had Akash kneeling down and proposing Khushi while Khushi stood in front of him in utter shock. The pic had been clicked by Arnav. She remembered what exactly had happened that day as a lone tear escaped her left eye.
FLASHBACK
They were sitting in the cafeteria of their college waiting for Khushi to come. Akash was damn nervous as Arnav tried his best to chill him out.
"Bhai...mujhe dar lag raha hai...what if she tells no? I'll be screwed Bhai...no no...I cant do this. I am not gonna tell her." he said as he ran his hair through his hair.
"Oh come on Akash!!! Be a man!! When she comes just got to her look straight into her eyes and tell her that you freaking love her!!".Arnav said never letting Akash to find out the sting of the pain in his eyes."Hey look...aa gayi teri Khushi. Best of luck man!!".he patted his buddy's shoulder in encouragement.
She looked like an angel. She was wearing a Blue and black Anarkali suit that perfectly held on to her curves and went perfectly with her complexion. She was mesmerizing.Her hair was let out loose and a few strands of hair fell on her face. She looked like an angel.
Khushi's dress😊:
She waved her hand as she made her way to the table and sat down beside Arnav. She looked at Akash and gave him a warm smile. That one smile was enough to stir Akash's thoughts.
"Khushi...mujhe...I wanted to tell u something..."
"Haan Akash...bolo..."
"Woh main...woh main Khushi..."
"Kya main main kar rahe ho Akash?? And why the hell are u so nervous?? Main bhoot hoom kya?"
Akash got up from his spot and without wasting a single second knelt down in front of Khushi,embarassing her.
"Akash...yeh tum kya kar rahe ho?? everyone's watching!!". It seemed as if Khushi's eyes would pop out any minute.
"Khushi...I dont know how you'll react but I cant help it! Khushi I LOVE YOU more than anything else in this world and want to spend my life with you...will you please take the pleasure of being my life-partner?"
He said as Khushi stood up in utter shock. Yes,she loved him but she hadnt thought in the slightest of her dreams that Akash would propose her this way.
"Khushi?? will u please answer? My knees are hurting!!"
"Uh...Uh...yeah u Duffer!! get up!! I LOVE YOU TOO!! and you took so much time to tell this simple thing?"
She said as she pouted him on the chest. Akash hugged in an instant and could feel Khushi reciprocating to it...

She felt like killing herself for living without him was even a worser punishment.
"Kahan ho tum Akash? Apni pagli ko akele chodke chale gaye? What will i do without you Akash? I...I love you so much..."
She cried silently as she sat on the bed and placed te photo back on the table and opened the drawer of the table to have a pian-killer. She noticed an envelope in it. She didn't know who had kept it there.She picked it up and what she was an utter shock... The cover of the envelope had block letters that read
TO MY LOVE...KHUSHI AKASH SINGH RAIZADA...
PRECAP: Her hands shivered as she read the letter. tears ran down her eyes...
