Kria came from a patriarchal family where things like social norms held immense importance.

She was an attractive nubile seeing anybody could fall for her.

Boys drooled over her yet she did not pay any heed to all the popularity she gained and stayed away from what her father addressed a Problem called Love.

If no guy was left from her charm then how could he?

After all he was the heart throb of all girls and every damsel would die to be in his arms or even see him, leave aside talking.

Reyaansh had met Kria as an acquaintance at his father's business party whose firm he had joined and flourished with success.

Kria's father was his dad's college best friend.

And, the man of every girl's heart had fell in love with her the moment he had seen her, commoners termed it was Love at First Sight.

And it indeed was true.

He had broken the vase on his side-table while jumping on his bed when he was given the piece of news that his father wanted him to marry her.

He came from a family where his life was an open book and the members accepted each other's feelings and also privacy.

He had once mentioned it to his mother that he thought he had fallen in love with her and he knew this was the result of her magic.

He loved his mother for giving him the biggest happiness in his life and the love he wanted.

Two months later, the couple tied a knot and came home.

Rey promised her that he would not force his love on her as for her it was just an arranged marriage done for her parent's happiness.

Kria stood at the window thinking all about her life since the three years with Reyaansh and his family.

They accepted her for whatever she was and gave her individual space and now she felt she had her very own identity.

"Wish you were here Rey! I am missing you so much! It's been two weeks I have seen you. Please come back soon!" she said to his picture on her phone.

Downstairs, the main door flung open.

Ramu kaka, the caretaker cum helper noticed the sound and went rushing to find the source.

"Rey Baba. Aap? Aap toh kal aane wale the na!" Ramu Kaka asked.

Rey nodded, smiled and put his finger on lips indicating Ramu Kaka not to make any further noise.

"Kon Hai Ramu Kaka?" Kria shouted from her room.

Rey winked at him asking him to make an excuse which he did saying "Courier".

Meanwhile, Kria went back to her dream land thinking about all the wonderful memories she had with Rey.

He had been the best husband, the best friend and the best companion.

Midst her ruminating process, she felt two strong arms hugging her from behind and his hands on her

brobdingnagian stomach from her six month pregnancy.

She immediately recognised his touch and leaned back a little touching her back on his chest and closing her eyes, taking in his fragnance.

Rey also closed his eyes as she leaned on him taking in her feather-soft touch and kept his chin on her shoulder.

The couple stayed like this for only almighty knows how much time.

"I missed you so much" Rey said finally, breaking the silence.

"Hm." Kria replied, her eyes still shut.

"Kria."

"Hm."

"I Love You"

"Hm."

"Did you eat something?"

"Hm."

"Will you please stop hming and talk to me? I waited for two weeks like a lunatic to talk to you. At least say something." he said irritated.

"I Love You Too Rey!"

Rey smiled hearing the millionth confession from Kria's mouth.

Everytime she said I Love You , he would loose out himself in the trance as if she had said it for the first time.

"How are you? Is she troubling you a lot" Rey said turning her towards himself and touching her tummy which had their baby!

"How are you so sure it is a she?" Kria said, not replying to Rey's question.

"Father's instincts. Okay let's not fight today on this subject. And on a serious note, are you alright baby?" he asked in concern, kissing her forehead.

"No!"

"Why?"

"You have been away from me for two weeks and you expect me to be alright? How could you Rey?"

Rey simply smiled at his cute wife and understood what could calm her.

He came towards her slowly and kissed her lips.

He kept rolling his tongue on her mouth telling her to open her mouth and give in.

After many tries, Rey succeeded as she gave in and let him do whatever he wanted to.

Late at night, in between his deep slumber, a shake disturbed his magical fantasy.

Rey jerked off the object of disturbance and came back to his position smilingly.

"Rey!" a sweet voice entered his ears.

He smiled harder, murmuring something and went back to his sleep.

The voice turned louder, "REY!"

He recognised the voice, it was of his wife.

"Yes Baby" he replied, still asleep.

"I want to eat Hot Chocolate Fudge!" Kria replied.

"Okay Jaan. I'll bring you some tomorrow!" he answered and went back to his sleep.

Kria spanked him hard on his hand in agony.

"Rey! I said I want some Hot Chocolate Fudge RIGHT NOW!" she shouted.

Rey jerked up from his position and saw his bewitching and huge tummy wife sitting in front of him with her hands around her waist.

"Now?" he asked her, wondering if he heard right.

Kria nodded in an affirmative and looked at him with pleading eyes.

"I'll get some for you tomorrow!" he tried to negotiate.

Kria nodded in a sad no and made a puppy face which melted Rey.

"Okay!" he replied, giving in realizing it was the effect of the notorious little baby inside her womb.

Kria clapped her hand in glee.

Rey smiled at her cute antics and came out of his warm comforter to fulfill his wife's wishes.

"But Jaan, which Nirula's joint would be open right now?" he asked confusingly glancing at his phone clock which showed 1 am.

Kria shrugged showing she did not know and yet again made a puppy face.

"I have an idea. I'll make some for you at home. What say?" he asked her.

"Okay!" she replied gleefully.

"Yeah, daddy is going to make baby and her mom some yummy hot chocolate fudge." he said kissing the little angel inside.

Kria smiled and gave him her hand.

He took her hand and led her downstairs to the kitchen where he soon would be converted into a chef.

The idea of making something for his angel fascinated Rey and he looked quite excited.

"So, what we need is some nuts, vanilla ice-cream and chocolate sauce. Check! We have everything." he said going through the cupboards and cross-checking with the recipe in his phone.

After making some hot chocolate fudge for Kria, Rey led her back to the bedroom where they both enjoyed the ice-cream feeding each other with joy.

"Rey!"

"Hm."

"Do you think I am fat? And if you do, please don't stop loving me."

Rey looked at his wife disbelievingly.

" I don't think you are fat. In fact I think you look sensuous. Only I know how I resist myself" he replied.

"You are lying!"

"No Baby! I am not. I Love You a lot and will always do!"

Kria smiled hearing this from her husband and hugged him tightly and he smiled at her cute behavior.

"Crotchet Cadences!"

P.S: Crotchet cadences mean "Mood Swings" :P

and the title i had to take put the dictionary and i settled for sweet melodies... (blame the dictionary for it)

there were so many word jinhe maine pehli baar suna... yaar bata tu kahan se laayi apni vocabulary tu???

so it was so very sweet...

u know especially how u strt it 2ith third person pov describing and then dialoguebaazi pe...

it gives a different feel...

par mujhe na kuch aur chahiye tha... the thing is i am not able to put up into words... i will tell u as soon as i get this...

but the way she was reminiscing the past and how rey came it was beautiful...

lekin inna chhota so very not fair...

plus it was first time KR... so it was really good... i know u r not used to write abt them...

but practice makes a man perfect... and i will make sure u get them a lot😉

my next demand...

bas soch ke bata rhi,,,, umm... KR having a serious MU which gets cleared (not the melodramatic way a logical way.. and some sweet moments as to how they amend it.)

Start was nice...bt i think u fast forwaded it a bit...

But

the end was really really sweet...totally adorable...
Frm the time rey comes...short KR moment...making of fudge...evrything...was so cute...loved that part specially...
