I think I understand what you mean. I believe in God too. Religion? Not too sure how I feel about that. But then, it is very difficult to shun it given how most of the times we don't even realise how deeply ingrained religion is in our lives.

I deliberately didn't comment on any update because I wanted to read them all in one go and have a long single comment in the end. So, well, here it goes.

Shu, your words are magic. I honestly was transported back to those nights I spent watching the YT videos of the show(I started late, hehe), all those ismailvegamze videos I had looped almost 2474589545579 times a day because I just couldn't get enough, all those nights I've spent thinking about how will they actually meet, or even if they ever will! And the way you penned all those moments, I seriously am wondering if it's the same show I am watching because in a few words you have convinced my mind to settle itself in that time frame where they haven't really met.

And the best part is your simplicity. What's written is not laced with heavy SAT-vocab words or long passionate sex scenes or extensive metaphors, and it still is one of the best pieces of writing I have read. Really.

The only thing that made me sad was that I was expecting Diwali to be five,or maybe even the epilogue because I know how much you love it, and you know how much I love it. But methinks this doesn't need Diwali. It's just so good. Also, I relived all those milenge-nahi milenge moments in these five chapters and I don't think I can relive the heartbreak of Diwali, so maybe it's better this way. :)

By number 3 i understood u were planning to make them not "bump" into each other like they did 😃 and will go on to live relatively calmer but empty lives!

ps: please continue a new one after this and make them meet in "normal" circumstances 😳
