hey guys ok out with chapter 3 i hope u like it, this chapter is written by me (sheena) edited by megha and proof read by sneha, thanks a lot u two :) i hope u guys enjoy this chapter :)

Chapter 3

He was on his way down to the study and all of a sudden he felt a light breeze coming in, it felt nice and refreshing, he walked into the study and there she was standing, the girl in a green salwar she looked beautiful, he had never seen anything like her, her beauty was divine there was something about her that attracted him towards her,

As he walked in her innocent eyes followed his footsteps, and rested when he sat down on the chair opposite to him, her heart thumped in a rhythm, that was audible only to her, what was this rhythm, and why was her heart thumping when she saw him, there was a short moment of silence which soon broke when arnav asked

Arnav: so u are khushi

Khushi: yes sir, I am khushi kumari gupta and I am here because I want to talk to you about the land u have bought in laxmi nagar

Arnav: oh I see, and what about it

Khushi: well u see sir, the land belongs to us, we have a house there, and we have been staying there for years now, if u brake the house and make a factory then me and my family will have no place to go

Arnav: and that's my problem because (he said rudely)

Khushi: (took a deep breath and remained calm and then said) sir please try 2 understand please we have been staying there our whole lives, where will we go

Arnav: there are lots of places in delhi find yourself a new house whats the big deal, u have 12 days in hand I am sure u will find a place to stay

Khushi: its not the question of finding a place to stay its about not wanting to move, we are connected to the house,

Arnav: (raised his eye brow and said sarcastically) I am sorry I don't follow

Khushi: look I don't expect u to understand why we don't want to move, all I am trying to tell u is that build ur factory else where

Arnav: that's our of the question, why should compromise I have bought the land from the owner and he had no qualms with it,

Khushi: that shukla didn't ask us before selling the land (she said firmly)

Arnav: (raised his voice) that's not my problem this is between u and him, I have given u 12 days to evacuate the place

Khsuhi: why can't u understand , u rich people think u own the whole world and can do anything u want how can u be so heartless (she screamed)

Arnav: listen khushi kumara gupta I don't care what u think, by u screaming and shouting things aren't going 2 changes so just deal with it

Khushi was about to tell him off when they heard a knock on the door, aarti came inside and ran to arnav, she was wearing a pink ballet costume and was looking sad, as she walked to him she said in a baby voice

Aarti: mama I hurt my finger (she said crying and showed her finger to arnav)

Arnav who was in a foul mood had no patients to deal with her and yelled

Arnav: (shouting) CAN U NOT SEE THAT I AM WORKING WHAT IS WRONG WITH U !!!!

Little aarti started to cry more seeing her mama's angry face, khushi who was standing there, yelled back at him

Khushi: how can u be so stone cold, and shout at such a cute child (she screamed, then she called aarti towards her and knelt down and said) is your finger hurting sweaty

Aarti looked confused at her ad scared, she was just crying away

Khushi hugged her by giving her love, aarti kept quiet and then khushi said

Khushi: hi my name is khushi whats your name

Aarti: (sobbed while talking) my' name is aarti

Khushi: wow that's a pretty name, so aarti why are u crying

Aarti was about to answer when she saw her nani and parnani on the door, they came in and asked in a worried tone

Ratna: what's going on chottey

Arnav: ma how many times have I told these children not to disturb me while I am working?

Nani: she is just a child chottey

Khushi who wasn't bothered of what was happening concentrated on the child and then said

Khushi: this is just a small hurt, no need to cry u can put a bandage on it and it will disappear (she said lovingly)

Aarti: it will go like magic (she said in a fascinated tone)

Arnav who was watching all this said in anger

Arnav: what the hell do u think you're doing

Khushi: cant u see, the poor girl is crying, I am trying to cheer her up

Arnav: that's not your' (he was interrupted by his mother who put her hand out to stop him)

Arnav ratna and nani watched as khushi spoke to aarti and calmed her down, both nani and ratna were impressed by it, ratna was happy to see aarti open up to her easily and an idea popped in her mind, and she took nani and arnav on the side of the room and then said

Ratna: amma this girl is very nice

Nani: yes I agree she is look at how she is taking care of aarti

Arnav: she is putting a bandage on her finger whats the big deal (he said stating the fact)

Nani: chottey did u not see how she took her in lovingly did u not see how she made aarti stop crying

Ratna: amma I have an idea, why don't we hire this girl to take care of the children, I think she is a nice girl and she looks traditional as well, she will take good care of them

Arnav: (shocked) What the!!

Nani: I think that's a great idea, ratna betiya is right

Arnav: no way, nani ma no way, she cannot take care of the children

Ratna: why chottey look at her, she I perfect she will love them and take care of them

Arnav: but ma we don't even know anything about her

Ratna: chottey what is there to know she seems like a simple girl

Arnav: but still I don't trust her

Ratna: chottey please for my sake let the girl come and take care of the children, she can come for a few hours everyday

Nani: chottey think of it the children will not trouble u and will stay out of your hair

Arnav took a deep breath and thought, nani did have a point they would not bother him the whole day or may be forever its perfect, but why should she come only for a few hours she should live her full time ,as their governess, its perfect it's the best way to have the kids out of the way, he decided to also do a back ground check as well for safety sake, he wouldn't trust her just like that and so he said

Arnav: fine may be you are right she is good for the kids, but why should she come here for a few hours she should stay here full time,

Nani: full time but chottey don't u think she will say no, a single girl like this is our house

Arnav: oh please nani she is not a guest she is getting paid to stay here, she can live here like their governess

Ratna: ok chottey let her stay here like a governors

Arnav nodded and then went to khushi who was with aarti and then said

Arnav: I want to hire u

Khushi looked up confused and said

Khushi: for what

Arnav: your good with kids, I want to hire u to take care of the kids in my house, there are 3 of them and they need a governess, I am willing to pay u thirty thousand for it

Khushi: (looked at him and said) what are the timings?

Arnav: its full time, u will stay here in our house and take care of them

Khushi: (shocked) no way, I won't I can't, my buaji won't allow me

Ratna: that's ok betiya can u come for a few hours

Khushi: auntyji actually I have to ask my buaji,

Arnav: no u have to stay here and take care of them

Khushi: how can u just force me like this u don't own me

Arnav: ur right I don't, but I own the land, (he said smirking)

Khushi: (scrunched her eyes and said) what re u trying 2 imply

Arnav: I will make a deal with u, stay back here and take care of the children and in return I won't brake ur house ur family can stay on the land

Khushi was in a big fix they desperately needed the place to stay and if he was agreeing to let them stay then that's just good, but then on the other hand staying with them will buaji allow her to do that, the salary she was getting was good, thirty thousand rupees was a lot of money and in so much money she could contribute to the family income so she took a deep breath and said

Khushi: fine I will agree, but my family stays

Arnav: I assure u of that, they can stay in the house as so long as u are here

Khushi nodded and said

Khushi: but I need to go back home and inform my parents and pick my clothes,

Arnav: fine (saying this he left the study)

Aarti: (in a cute voice) khushi didi are u going 2 be staying with us

Khushi: (smiled and then said) yes I am,

Aarti: (excited) I will show u my room

Khushi: yes sweaty off course, in some time I will see ur room, but now I have to go home to tell my buaji

Ratna: khushi betiya can I come with u, I understand ur buaji will not allow u so may be if I come and talk to her she will listen

Khushi: thank u auntyji for understanding

Ratna smiled at her and then she and khushi left to go to laxmi nagar
