Before Arnav could lean in for another kiss, there was a loud knock at his door...
He slammed his hand against the wall behind her, making her jump slightly...
But as his hungry eyes looked back up at her, she felt her heart do more than jump...
She was just about to speak, when he did a complete turn and walked to his door...
He asked the man in, and they both began discussing business.
Khushi gazed at the men in front of her...
She felt dumbfounded...
"Just like that, he forgets that I'm even in the room!?"
Holding her head high, she pushed herself off the wall, stood tall and began to walk out...
"Miss Gupta..."
She froze...
"...please sit over there and take notes on this matter please..."
Khushi's mouth hung open again at his audacity...
He looked up, feeling amused and pointed to the notepad and pen on his desk...
Willing to do anything but remember what had just happened between them, she angrily picked up the notebook and sat down.
Still sitting tall, she gave him a disdainful smile and flipped the book open...
Arnav quickly phoned the cafeteria and told the lady to bring coffee up for him...
Both men began to speak fast...
Khushi's fingers were on the verge of cramping...
She used shorthand, shortened shorthand, and was still coming up short of words...
But finally there was a soft knock on his door...
Arnav waved in the lady with the coffee tray...
Khushi eyed up the woman and could see her ogling Arnav.
She felt a twinge of jealousy and blinked in confusion at the ridiculous feeling.
Arnav had glanced up at Khushi and saw her scowling at the woman next to him...
He smiled deviously and began talking again...
However, what Arnav missed, was the way Khushi's scowl changed into a look of worry as the lady left the room...
The woman had been too busy drooling over her boss, that she hadn't paid attention to the drink she was making...
Arnav was lifting the mug to his lips when Khushi suddenly shouted..."STOP!"
The other man in front of her was shocked to the core, but Arnav, he held the cup still at his lips with a questioning expression on his face...
Khushi stood up, the pad and pen falling to the floor...
Rushing forwards, she took the mug from him and quickly took a sip...
"What the!?" Arnav finally reacted, standing up...
"What kind of employee is this Mr. Raizada!?"
Khushi angrily turned to the man..."A Good one! One who just saved him from drinking coffee full of sugar!"
"What?"
"WHAT!?"
Both men asked in unison...
"What the hell are you talking about, you interfering little..."
"DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANOTHER WORD..." Arnav commanded...
"Sir, I'm just..."
Arnav strode around his desk and grabbed the man's arm, hauling him into the hall...
"Wait downstairs!"
As soon as the door was shut, he turned to face Khushi...
"You remembered that?"
Khushi frowned, wondering what he meant...
"What do you mean?"
Stepping closer, "You remembered..."
Khushi began to feel uncomfortable..."Remembered WHAT!? I know you have Diabetes Arnavji!"
Arnav couldn't speak.
He couldn't move.
His jaw dropped, his eyes widened...
"Did she just say that?...out loud?..." his head was roaring...
Khushi, who was still wondering what the big deal was, shook her head and pushed past him, leaving the room...and slamming the door behind her.
Arnav was gobsmacked...
His heart was thumping...
"She...she remembered that...infront of me! And called me 'Arnavji'..." he breathed...
Within seconds he was laughing out with joy...
He rubbed his eyes as his next thought began to make his nerves stand on end..."What do I do when she does remember? What if she is angry? What if she doesn't want me?..."
Looking left to right, he shook of the thought..."No...that's stupid...she kissed me back...she held onto me..."
He had to know.
Had to talk to her.
Grabbing his phone, he stuffed it into his pocket, reprimanding himself..."Stupid. What's wrong with me. Standing here in some sort of trance, not even replying to her...IDIOT!"
Arnav hurried out of his office, searching for Khushi...

Khushi slammed the Arnav's door and went back to her desk...
She shifted uncomfortably in her chair...
"Ridiculous...Stupid..." she kept muttering..."Why would he think I'd forget that he...he had..."
Her hand flew to her mouth...
"How DID I know that!? What the heck is happening to me!?"
She stood up and noticed that people were beginning to stare strangely at her...
Marching into one of the conference rooms, she quickly shut the door and slumped against it...
"Are you okay Miss...Gupta? Was it Gupta?"
Khushi was startled hearing the familiar voice...
"Oh...it's you..." she sighed as she recognized the man from Arnav's office only moments ago.
"I want to apologize for anything I might have said...Normally, ASR is quite an angry, uncaring man...and I was going to get you out of there quickly..."
Khushi smilied slightly..."He IS angry...and..."
"You mean he yelled at you!?"
Khushi frowned as the man stood up and stepped towards her..."No...no, nothing like..."
"You can tell me, I can see that you're quite shaken..."
Khushi began to feel uneasy and edged away from the door, away from the interest of this strange man...
"Look, I just had to find somewhere to think for a moment...that's all..." her breathing became faster...
Following her cautiously, the businessman tried to coax her..."Take a few deep breaths...You can talk to me if you like...We can sit over here..." He took her elbow as he nudged her forward but she quickly pulled herself free...
"Look, I don't know you...and I would like to be alone, so since you were in here to start with, I will leave..."
Khushi walked forwards only to have the man stand directly in front of her...
Fear.
A different kind of fear.
It gripped at her heart...
"Please sir...please step away..." her voice was beginning to shake...
"I can't," he whispered... "because I can't take my eyes off you..." He bent and whispered, "Forgive me, but I can't stop myself."
Khushi knew what was coming...
She pushed hard at the man's chest..."NO! "
"Come on...just one kiss..."
The smile on the man's face made her gag...
"Get away from me! Help! Help me!!!"
"Where is my best friend when I need him...Khushi thought furiously...
And as a loud slam suddenly struck the empty room, a simultaneous slam of memories jolted into Khushi...
Right from the beginning of her life, to the impact of the car crash...
"Get your hands off of her...now."
The man looked up and saw the firey eyes of Arnav Singh Raizada...
"Sir?...I wasn't...I..." the man's hands instantly moved away...
Arnav charged forwards and roughly grabbed the man by the throat..."How DARE you lay a hand her..."
"ASR...what does it...what does it matter! She's just an office worker!"
Arnav instantly brought his fist back, ready to strike...
"Wait..."
Arnav waited...the deja vu of the moment also began to sink into him and he turned to look at Khushi...
Tears were pouring from her lashes, making his fist clench tighter...
But then, she spoke...
"He...He's not worth it...Let it be..."
As though a bombshell had been detonated on him, Arnav dropped both his hands away...
The frightened businessman quickly pulled his jacket off one of the chairs and ran out as fast as he could...
Khushi started to sway and Arnav quickly held her against him whispering..."God don't scare me like that again!"
Shoving at his chest, she glared at him..."YOU! You took your bloody time! Where the hell were you!!!!!"
Starting to laugh, he grabbed her wrists and yanked her hard against him...
She began to resist, but he held on tight...
Giving up, she threw her arms back around his broad shoulders...
"I came as fast as I could...I was so worried when I couldn't find you..."
Moving back, she gazed into his eyes..."Thankyou...you've been there for...for me..." her words began to slow..."for me...so much..."
It was then, that Arnav saw her eyes...
"You remember don't you..."
