Yash could not believe that Aarti was pregnant and that she hid the truth from him. He went inside the room and saw Aarti sleeping restlessly..He sat next to her and caressed her forehead..Aarti eased a bit and continued sleeping.

Yash had millions of doubts as to why Aarti would hide such a thing from him! He saw her innocent sleeping face and remembered him checking her out in Mumbai while she was asleep. He remembered the time they spent together in Mumbai-making pots together, choosing bangles for her, enjoying the swing with her in his arms, having fun on the beach, dancing together, playing with the kids together'and automatically a smile crept on his lips..He did not want to remember what happened after that night in Mumbai until the boxing match..It was extremely troubled time for him and he went through a lot..he had the worst time since Arpita's death..the sudden act has had his mind put thousand of questions in front of him-betrayal, cheating, his morals, his principles, and what not!!..He did not wish to visit that place but then he saw Aarti and thought about how her behaviour had changed drastically only after the match..she supported him in his decision of the match in order to come out of his guilt but then why suddenly this withdrawl.. He refreshed in his mind just what Aarti had said

"TAKLEEF..apko meri takleef dikhti bhi hai..wah..mujhe to laga apko apni takleef ke alawa kuch bhi nahi dikhta.."

"kyun iska haq kya bhagwan ne sirf aapko diya hai..jab aapki marzi aayi to apne apni zid chori-ap boxing match se peeche hate-NAHI..jab apne apne aap ko dard pohchane ki than li to apne kisi ki suni-NAHI..apko kya farak padta hai ki aapke aisi harkaton se kisi pe kya beete..apko kya farak padta hai ki koi jeete ji marta hai..nahi..aapko koi farak nahi padta..aap sirf apni sochte hain aur apni marzi ka karte hain ..."

He was somewhere understanding that his decisions lately had left everyone in pain. Though he never wanted to trouble anyone there was hardly anything he could do in that situation. Only he knew what hell he went through thinking of betraying Arpita..and there was something more which he was still not ready to face..Pushing that thought aside he saw Aarti fidgeting and coming out of sleep. Aarti opened her eyes and saw Yash sitting next to her holding her hand. She instantly drew her hand out of his grip and moved away from him. Yash was again pained by her reaction.

"Aartiji ap lete rahiye ..mein wahan kursi par baithta hoon"

He got up and sat on the chair next to the bed.

"Yashji ap apne room mein chale jayiye..mein theek hoona aur vaise bhi sab vapas aate hi honge"

"Aartiji abhi Vidhi bhabhi ka phone aaya tha.. sab ko aane mein abhi time lagega..hmm..aur vaise bhi mujhe aapse baat karni hai"

"Yashji please..mujhe aapse koi baat nahi karni"

"Aartiji please mujhe pata hai ki pichle kuch dino se aap mujhse naraz hai kyunki maine sabhi ko bohat takleef pohanchai mere behaviour se but sach mein mera aisa koi irada nahi tha'mujhe wo match lade bina chain nahi milta..aur phir aapne bhi mera saath diya..phir kyun aap aise rukha rukha mujhse behave kar rahi hai?"

"mein koi rukha behave nahi kar rahi Yashji..mein to sirf vahi kar rahi hoon jo apne mujhe kaha tha..apne hi mujhse kaha tha a ki mein sirf aapke bacchon ki ma hoon aur apke aur mere beech koi doosra rishta nahi hai..phir kyun aap mujhse aise sawaal kar rahe hain ab..mein aapko apki khushi de rahi hoon apse door rehkar.."

Yash cut her in between

"par maine kab kaha ki meri khushi apse door rehne mein hai"

Aarti was surprised at his reaction and softened but quickly gathered herself back

"apne chahe saaf shabdo mein na kaha ho par aapki baton aur aapke vyavhar ne ye saaf kar diya tha ki aap kya chahte hain.. mein aapse pyaar karti hoon iska matlab ye nahi hai ki mera koi aatmsamman nahi hai.. mera pyaar itna matlabi nahi ki mein itni gir jaaun ki aapko jabardasti kisi unchahe rishte mein bandhna chahun isliye aap chale jayeyiye..aapka mere prati koi farz ya zimmedari nahi hai..mein aapke bacchon ki ma ke alawa kuch nahi aur mein nahi chahti ki aap aaj meri fikar kare aur phir kal is fikar karne ki sazaa apne aap ko de.. ap pehle hi meri vajah se bohat kuch jhel chuke hain"

"nahi aartiji aap aisa kyun keh rahi hai.. jo bhi hua usme aapka koi kasoor nahi tha"

Aarti laughed mockingly but her eyes were clouded with unshed tears

"haha..ye aap kya keh rahe hain Yashji..mera kasoor nahi tha..huh??..mein hi to hoon jisne aapko aisa paap karne ke liye uksaya aur majboor kiya ki aap mere kareeb aaye..aur ye mere mann ka hi to paap tha..yaad hai..aapne hi kaha tha..PAR ye mera wada hai aapse ki mujhse aapka aj se koi lena dena nahi hai..mein apko aj har unchahe rishte se azaad karti hoon,kyunki aapne hi to kaha tha ki aise rishta ka ek hi bhavishya hota hai-ki wo khatam ho jaaye"

Saying that Aarti got up with great pain and left at once while Yash sat there stunned at her words..her outburst and suppressed emotions had left him in total shock!..

He felt great pain and his heart pricked at Aarti's words:

"ye mera wada hai aapse ki mujhse aapka aj se koi lena dena nahi hai...mein apko aj har unchahe rishte se azaad karti hoon,.kyunki aapne hi to kaha tha ki aise rishta ka ek hi bhavishya hota hai-ki wo khatam ho jaaye"
