Yash felt his heart break into pieces with Aarti's declaration of end of their relationship..He could not believe she just said that but then her words forced him to remember his own words from which he has been running for various reasons..

"nafrat hain mujhe inse..mera inka saath koi rishta nahi hai..nahi hai ye meri patni..maine ye shaadi apne liye nahi balki bacchon ko ek ma mile is khatir ki hai"

(I hate her..I have no relationship with her..she is not my wife..I agreed to marriage not for myself but for the sake of my kids)

"mere saamne mat aayiye Aartiji..mujse door rehiye..mera aapke saath koi rishta nahi hai"

(do not come in front of me aartiji..stay away from me..I have no relation with you whatsoever)

He remembers how Aarti was insulted by Gayatri and was almost thrown out of house after his declaration of Aarti cheating him.. He remembered how her character was questioned because of his behaviour and silence. He remembered how he had vented all his anger and frustration on her:-

"sahi to yahi hoga ki hum alag alag rasto par chalet rahe kyunki saath to vahi chalet hai jinke rishte ki koi manzil hoti hai aur hamare rishte ki koi manzil nahi hai "

(the right thing for us would be to walk on different paths because people with same destination walk together while our relationship has no destination)

"apne dil apni aatma mein jhankar dekhiye..apke mann ka paap aapko saaf saaf nazar ayega"

(look inside your heart,your soul and you will see the sin/immorality of your heart)

He remembered the accusations he put on Aarti when she came to talk to him after first boxing match about that night:

"meri marzi se kuch nahi hua tha..aap ne sabkuch pehle se plan kar rakha tha aur usi hisaab se apne halaat bhi banaye the''."

(nothing happened with my consent that night..everything was pre-planned by you and you created the situation according to your plan as well)

(whatever I did under the influence of drink was a sin!..a sin which I committed because of you..I will never forgive you..because of you I unknowingly betrayed Arpita...why did you take arpita's place in my life,why did you force me to commit that mistake..a mistake which I will repent forever...You have tarnished my love and commitment for Arpita for your selfishness...there is no future of a relationship of sin except one which is that it ends!!)

He put hands on his ears as if to stop his words from coming to his memory..it was painful to even remember what all he had told Aarti..He realized how much Aarti had to go through listening to all that'He realized how he had gone mad after that unexpected night and how he had conveniently put all the blame on Aarti!..He realized how much wrong he had done to her in order to deal with his conflicting emotions'how he had not only made Aarti feel miserable,he also made sure to ruin the trust she had on him.. he destroyed all the understanding and respect they shared..ALL because he was so self-absorbed in his pain that he blatantly refused to look beyond anything beyond himself!!

Yash shouted in pain:

"MEIN ITNA SWARTHY KAISE HO GAYA..KYON YASH KYON!!!'kyun mein itna gir gaya ki aj apne aap se nazre milane ki himmat nahi ho rahi.. Mein itna andha ho gaya ki mein aartiji ki aankhon mein mera diya hua dard bhi nahi dekh paya//..agar aj unhone mujhe ye sab nahi bola hota to mein to ye yaad karne ko bhi tayyar nahi tha ki maine kitni galat baatein Aartiji ko kahi'kaise unhi itni takleef pohanchayi ki aj vo mere haathon se paani ka glass lena bhi pasand nahi kar rahi..unhe aisi bimaar halat mein dard sehna manzoor haii par meri madad lena ya meri shakal dekhna nahi...JO SAB maine unke saath kiya vo ab laut kar mujhpar aa raha hai..aur ye sahi bhi hai..maine humare rishte ka koi wajood manne se inkaar kar diya..humare beech us raat jo bhi hua uske liye maine unhe jimmedar thahradiya..unke charitra aur unke irado ko galta thehradiya..aur aisa gunah karne ke baad bhi maine badi asaani se apni saari kahi baatein aise bhooladi jaise koi badi baat na ho..iski sazaa to mujhe milne hi chahiye.. aartiji ke bharose ko toda hai maine..unka dil toda hai maine..mujhe unse abhi maafi maangni hai..."

(How can I become so selfish..WHY YASH WHY!!...why did I fell so low that I am not able to gather courage to face myself..how can I be so blind that I could not see the pain given to Aartiji by me.. //..If she had not said all this to me today then I was not even ready to remember what all I had done and said to Aartiji..How could I give her so much of pain that today she does not even want to take water from my hands..In such an ill condition she is ready to bear any pain but does not want to take any help from me or even see my face!..Whatever I did to her is now coming back to me'and in a way it is right too!! I denied to accept any relationship with her..I blamed her for whatever happened between us that night..Infact I questioned her character and her intentions''..AND even after all this wrong-doing, I very conveniently forgot everything I said and did as if it was no big deal'.I should be punished for all my mistakes..I have broken Aartiji's trust and her heart!..I should apologize to her right now')

Just then Ramdularey shouted

"Yash Bhahiya..AARTI BHABHI!!!"

Yash ran frantically towards the hall where Ramdularey was shouting his name ..
