Ok I'm really terrified now-your stories have this strong emotional aspect to it which , no matter what one does, can really touch one's heart. I hope Arnav goes through hell for this

oh..that was a very sad one ...
agreed it was not rosy glossy as in a fiction serial but things as these happen in reality that was very heartbreaking though we have come miles in education technology what not but still at times where it matters most we seldom sympathize with the offended party either leaving it to fate or blaming the victim for no wrong of them...
nicely done piece of os ...

Hi!Thank you, everyone, for your comments. Every writer needs a medium of feedback, and I am really blessed that you guys took the time to drop me a line, because trust me, its exhausting to post, and PM 550 people, and even more emotionally exhausting and depressing to do this and then think..Dammit! no one liked that, it must be crap !

T
his is a ONE shot, so I don't really see how I can do another part to it, though I would like to give a bit of closure to those of you who feel you need to see the sonafoabitch hurting to get over this one. We'll see, if inspiration strikes--but honestly, I wanted to do a piece without ANYONE'S direct emotional responses--Not Arnav's, not Khushi's--just a story on what society says and thinks of circumstances such as this.

And yes, its dark, and yes, its deeply unfair--but so are the lives of the millions of girls who get rejected by first their lovers, then their families and finally by society as bad omens. It is a snapshot through the lens of our beloved characters into the women who get called tainted, and evil, just for having made the mistake of having fallen in love, and been human and trusting and naive. Thanks for reading!

Very, very sad OS...The kind of desperation and pain that Khushi of your story must have gone through during her pregnancy ...and the sad fate of the poor innocent baby. I had a colleague I was pally with, who lost her baby towards the end of her 2nd trimester. I still shudder when I remember the utter desolation she went through...

Your writing is always so impactful. When I read 'Perfection' and 'Homecoming', I wish the makers of the serial would read those, and get some inspiration to make their plot and characterizations more engrossing, coherent and just, well, spectacular!

When I read this OS, all I could keep thinking was, you've shown the consequences if Arnav behaves yet again, like an inconsiderate, pig headed jerk, with no real faith in the 'love of his life'.

I really think you should do a 'Take 2' on this OS, as to what could happen in an alternate reality, where Arnav confronted the demons of his past and yet emerged as a better human being. And I do hope the CV's follow this one 😊

That was so heart breaking to read!!!! *sobbing uncontrollably*
The pain was so much for her... I really find it pathetic that its always the women who are blamed most of the time by the society while men get away scot-free!!
Please do continue this!!!! Don't leave it as a cliff-hanger!!!
Thanks for the pm!!

dude, hatts off, brilliant story
but if arnav does something like this in the show and become cold after marriage or leave her at the wedding then khushi should kick his ass, dump him and marry NK, that'll teach him a lesson
thanx for the pm:)

it was truly a captivating tale!
i had tears raining down my face by the end of it!
im glad khushi ultimately found her peace in a world where she is not judged 4 things she has no hands in n where she is given true respect!
it saddens me to think that even today society blames the girl 4 every single thing n treats her as an outcast by throwing baseless accusations at an innocent n rendering her helpless n defenceless while the guy is left scot free!

yep... It was a look on the labeling that constantly go on in our society... and Garima is just such much labeled character and so is Khushi...
