This was absolutely- I can't breathe it was so touching. Each scene was so vivid and in each one, it was the word "Apshakun" which tied it together and almost summarised the unfairness and the injustice of what Khushi and her unborn baby were suffering. In the end, Arnav's regret... It made me angry. I don't know if that's what you were going for but the teenage side of me I try to keep a reign on wanted to come out and kick him in the groin. I hope he DOES touch that damn gravestone, I hope he touches it and some rogue super sticky bird shit makes his hand stick to it forever.
Acting in haste and destroying other peoples' lives without a second thought has consequences Arnav, you inconsiderate prick.
It brought to mind Agneepath, the remake with Hrithik- not the hot mess that was the original. The scene at the very end where he kills Kancha and recites the poem in the background. The word 'Apshakun' had the same power. The same mountain of meanings behind it.
This was fantastic. As per usual.
And I wrote you an essay to plough through.
