An:Sharon..there you are!!

Sh:Chill girl!!I am just 10 minutes late..

An:No..you are 600 seconds late and..

Sh:Okay..fine...How about discussing this topic later,my punctuality freak friend??

An:Just because I came early..you cant call me a punctuality freak!!

Sh:Are we going to discuss about being punctual the whole time?!

An:See...you didn't have an answer to that!!Changing the topic are you?

Sh:Whatever!!

An:Ok..fine..(in mind)Ananya..choose your words cleverly...Its time to make her realize that she is in love with him..I'll talk to Swayam too...

An:Hmm...

Sh:What happened?Are we going to stay here or are we even going to start walking?

An:Yeah...lets go...

Both of them were silent for sometime until Sharon broke the ice...

Sh:So..whats going on in your class these days?

An:Nothing much..just the usual stuff...Umm...Swayam was telling me..

Sharon at once looked at her..

Sh:What!!What was he telling you?

An:Sharon..don't get so excited...

Sh:Umm..yeah sorry..what..umm...was he..umm...telling you?

An:That you guys have a test tomorrow..

Sh:What test??Let me call up Rey and ask..

An:Sharon!!Wait...Rey told me that he won't be at his place in the evening..

Sh:Fine..I'll ring him on the cell...

An:No...He has gone to watch a movie!

Sh:What..?What nonsense?Why will he go to watch a movie..He hates Bollywood films.

An:Who said Hindi movies?He has gone to watch a new Hollywood flick..

Sh:Umm...which one?

An:Arey...that new movie...what was the name?What does it have to do with you Sharon?Call up someone else and ask...Ask Kriya...:P

Sh:What..!!Dont take her name in front of me..You know how much I hate her na..that flirtatious crocodile..

Ananya face palmed but her main aim was to make Sharon start a conversation about Swayam.

An:So...whom do you talk to other than Kriya and Rey??Swayam?

Sharon turned her face to look at Ananya..

Sh:Why are you talking so much about your brother Ananya?Whats wrong?

An:Why Sharon?Is there a rule that I cant talk about my brother in front of his girlfriend..??

Sh:No nothing like that..you can talk about...hey I am not his girlfriend!!

An(giggled):You acknowledged..

Sh(cut her in between):Ok whatever!!!I don't want to talk about this further!!

An(in a teasing way):ok..madam..whatever you say...Wont talk about Swayam...

Sh:I didn't mean that..

An:Why?Do you want to talk about Swayam??

Sh:Why not?I mean no??I mean..

An:Chill...I know what you mean..

Sh:What?

An:You know...

Sh:What..?

An:Arey..you know very well ok?

Sh:No..I don't...please enlighten me with your words..

An:Hmm...you know...pehla nasha..pehla khumar!!Naya pyaar hai...naya intezaar..

Sh(carried away by the song):karlu mein kya apna haal..aye dil e bekaraar..mere dil-e bekaraar..tu hi bata...

An:I knew it!!

Sh:tu hi bata...pehla nasha..pehla khumaar..(humming the song)

An:You are in love with Swayam...!!

Sh(snapping out):What!!!How can you even say that??

An:Why?Weren't you singing the song...??Before singing the song you were longing to talk about him...After I started the song...you continued singing..that means you are in love Sharon!!And I am pretty sure..that it is Swayam..

Sh:Nope..Ananya..You know me for the past 6 years and you know that Pehla nasha is my favorite song...

An:So what?What matters the most is that you were singing that song and thinking of Swayam!!

Sh:Ananya...Cant I just sing a song?Is it a crime?

An:Sharon..I know you are confused at present about your feelings for him but trust me you love him..Tell me Sharon..dont you get jealous when Kriya talks to him?Or in your words flirts with him?

Sharon thought about the moments where she had a murderous look on seeing Kriya talk to Swayam.

Sh:No I don't..And I hate it when Kriya talks to him..I don't get jealous..

An:Pretty much the same Sharon..Dont you feel bad when he ignores you or behaves rudely with you?

Sharon thought about the classroom incident where he let her go first after behaving in a cold way and the monotony she had after that.

Sh:No!No!No!!

An:Sharon...fine lying to me will help but why the hell are you lying to yourself??Tell me..Dont you feel like punching Akanksha every time you see her?

Sharon thought about the day when she hit Akanksha and her books fell..

Sh:That's because she is obnoxious..

An:Only you find her obnoxious Sharon..

Sh:I cant believe that you are saying this..

An:She is not irritating Sharon..she is good..you find her irritating...Now tell me don't you like it when Swayam talks to you or remains around you?

Sharon didn't blush this time because she was thinking about something else-How she had wished him on his birthday.

Sh:Ananya..I don't know whats wrong with you...Why are you saying all this??

An:Sharon...learn to face the truth..just think about it..You love him and I know you must have thought about all the moments you shared with him..the instances where your hatred came out in the form of jealousy...the times you blushed on his name..

Sh:You know what Ananya..I have had enough of this crap and I don't want to go further with you..I am going home..Bye!!And oh..dont think that I'll ever talk to you again..

Saying this, Sharon left from there...

An(monologue):Fine Sharon..But when you realize that what I am speaking is the truth you'll surely tell it to me...

On the other hand Sharon was exasperated when she returned home..Without paying any heed to her parents she went straight to her room...

Sh:Ananya..How dare she!!How can she say that I am in love with Swayam?

She was sitting in front of the mirror..Maybe because of the stress or maybe because of the anger she had,she began hallucinating of her reflection speaking to her..

Re:Whom are you kidding Sharon?You can lie to Ananya..but not to me..I am a part of you.

Sh:What the hell!!Who are you?

Re:Im a part of your soul.Your alter ego.

Sh:So..will you please have the courtesy to tell me that why are you here?

Re:To make you realize a few things..

Sh:If you are here to give me the same lecture that Ananya gave me a few minutes ago,get lost!!Otherwise I may break the mirror..

Re:Break it..It wont affect me..

Sharon didn't say anything..but just twisted her face in an ugly manner and sat on her bed..

Re:Listen...just try and think for sometime..with a relaxed and a cool mind..Whatever Ananya said was the truth..and you cannot deny it..Please Sharon..just think about it..If you don't solve this puzzle now..you'll remain puzzled for a long time..Its confusion..but look at the brighter side..you have definitely fallen in love with someone..and not because of his looks but because you like him in every single way..You were trying to ignore him today...according to me your mind challenged your heart..Your heart was not willing to ignore him..

Sharon's expression seemed to change.She began realizing what the truth was.

Re:Sharon..I am going now..But I am a part of you which will never break even if you try to push me aside. I know every single thing going in your heart and I am sure your heart is saying that this is nothing but love..Just think about all those questions that have been bothering you..This is the answer to all those questions...You love him..When you are ready your heart will speak for you..Trust me...And one more thing ..whenever you face a dilemma...just listen to what your heart says and you will feel much better...Bye..

Saying this,her alter ego vanished..leaving a not-so-confused and a kind of in love Sharon,behind..

Sharon took out her diary which was kept in the closet and the same pen which Swayam had gifted her on her thirteenth birthday..She used the pen only for special occasions. And this occasion was definitely special, for her..

Sh:I am sorry Ananya..

..and she continued writing in the diary..

Eventful day..must say...The morning started on a confused note because I had decided that I would totally ignore Swayam...It didn't happen..I couldn't ignore him..I was confused..more than words could ever express..I snapped at Kriya too..And Rey too..I felt like hell..I was even more agitated when Swayam started behaving with me in a cold way..Swayam Shekhawat and a cold attitude=a bad combo!

So school was not that great..But in the evening I went for a walk with Ananya..Poor girl..she so wanted me to say that I love Swayam. I don't know what happened and why I spoke all those acrimonious words to her..I hope she forgives me..I thought and thought and finally realized about why this confused state of mind was dawning on me..Swayam-the root cause of all this..I have made a few realizations that I wish to pen here..The most prominent one of them is..that I love him..I love Swayam..

Swayam Shekhawat I am really in love with you.

Hey...but that doesn't mean that I am going to open up first..I'll tell him after he confesses..

So I am surely in love with him but I am quite firm too...It's the boy who proposes the girl and not the other way round..

She closed her diary and kept it in the closet.

As promised..Sharon confession...No Swayam in this part..Im sorry. 🥱 But next part will definitely have Swayam in it!!
