"You will have to pay for your deeds" Mayank huffed in anger, his voice ringing out clear in the whole room, echoing off the walls. "Wrong timing Mayank'I wish you would've given me some time so I could show you what Nikhil Sharma can do" blood from a wounds on the side of his neck and his cheeks spattered his shirt collar. He bared his teeth and tried to compose his shaking body he stood up, "No fair Mayank Sharma'can't you give your step- brother some time to show what he can do" he said in the horrible mocking voice and Mayank grabbed his collar giving him another punch, "I had never thought you could stoop so low"Mayank shouted with the top of his voice pushing him hard and he collapsed with the wall loosing his balance. "I can do anything to show you down as I want to see you loose everything that is close to your heart" Nikhil let out a mockery laugh turning his gaze towards Nupur and Mayank shoved him in the chest, sending him flying, "don't---'don't even try to look at my wife, I'll kill you" Mayank face was contorted with great rage as he caught his collar giving him another punch and Nikhil collapsed with the floor, a fluid of blood came out from his wounds.

Mayank dropped his eyes at him and Nikhil gave a mockery smile trying to gather his wounded body,Mayank stepped towards him to catch his collar and a stabbing ice-cold pain streaked down his side and turned fiery hot in an instant, "Mayank!!!"Nupur rushed towards him but Mayank stopped her for coming closer to them, "No---Nupur 'stay there"

Nikhil's evil laugh filled the air and Mayank regarded him with a rage "No worries-I know Mayank Sharma will never let me get easily what I want like always so I've been thought a plan"

Mayank took step pressing his hand on his wound and before he could dodge Nikhil, he slashed Mayank with his knife again, sideways, missing his throat by inches.

"Mayank!!!"a terrible scream escaped Nupur's lips and her body shook badly in fear, "No-"

Mayank gasped stopping her from coming nearer to them,Mayank whirled towards Nikhil,The knife in his hand gleaming sharp as a razor in the dull light of the room, "yes---you were wrong Nikhil 'you thought you would separate us'and I'll let you do that"Mayank gasped trying to hold his breath, "you were wrong because you thought you could separate us'you could snatch Nupur from me"

Mayank gasped stepping nearer him, "Mayank don't go nearer him'Mayank please---"Nupur screamed tears rolled down on her cheeks, "you stay there"Mayank stopped her again and Nupur cried nodding her head but she did what he said her to do.

Holding the knife in his hand, Nikhil began to back away, eyes darting. Mayank followed without care, without caution until Nikhil's back hit with the wall, "I've been knew everything about you Nikhil but I want your confession about your sins , I wanted to give you punish for hurting my wife for hurting us"Mayank stared at him in rage and Nikhil laughed out loudly.
"so do you think you can give me punish?" he showed Mayank the knife smile meaningfully.

"yes you'll get punished but before you'll tell me why did you do that?" Mayank gasped, his face was contorted with rage, hate, "because-I HATE YOU Mayank Sharma"Nikhil shouted with immense hatred on the top of his voice and Mayank felt himself stiff, bewildered for a moment, "because of you I could never get what I wanted-you snatch my mother'she always loved you more than me'you snatched my parents love from me'they gives you all their property as you're their obedient son and what I get? NOTHING---I am like a beggar in front of you'I couldn't do anything without your permission and when Nupur joined our office I realized she was the girl who made for me'but you snatched her too---you snatched my love'before I could tell her what I feel for her you'd been announced that you both were going to get married..Ah!!What I could do except to kill you,I tried to kill you not once but twice'But you were lucky as I couldn't get success in my plan--- but I couldn't let you win so easily so I forced Nupur to leave you or else I would've killed you and she did the same'she left you on the very first day of your wedding" he gave an evil grin and before he could sense Mayank's attack, Mayank caught his wrist and slashed him with his own knife Nikhil shrieked ,The knife dropped to the floor from his hand.Mayank was upon him. They stumbled in jerky, ungainly circles, grappling, until Nikhil lost his footing and thudded backward onto the hard floor. Red rage consumed Mayank, and a deep, scorching hate, He beat him with his fists until he realized Nupur shriek, "Mayank"

"Nupur"Mayank screamed rushing towards her and save her from falling down as she had been unconcious.

"Nupur" a familiar soft, husky voice slowly penetrating into her ears and she fluttered her lashes and opened her eyes lifting them at him and her breath stuck in her throat and panic rushed in her veins to see the bandage wrapped around his shoulder and around his arm, "Mayank"she let out a gasp of panic lifting her head, "I'm fine jaan"he gave an assurance smile made her lay down again with his one hand "but you were ---injured'what happened to your shoulder 'Mayank are you al---"

"Shh!!"

She panicked speaking in one breath and Mayank pressed his palm over her cheek caressing her skin to calm down her, "I'm absolutely fine, he couldn't harm me" he spoke softly caressing her face and she sat and hugged him tightly letting her tears to flow in the form of tears, "Nupur I'm fine'it's not good for your health, for our baby ---please don't cry" he rubbed her back lovingly to calm her, "I was so scared Mayank ,I would die without you" he pulled back quickly and cradled her face , "don't say it again'you're my life Nupur'you're reason to live" he leaned to kiss her forehead , "I'm sorry Mayank I hid truth, I didn't tell you about Nikhil I was so scared, I couldn't have let him to harm you, I'm sorry'please forg---"

"Shh"

Before she could complete her words Mayank kept his finger to stop her to say further, "Whatever happened it was written in our fate we couldn't change that'whatever Nikhil did he has been getting punished for that, he is in police custody I have been provided all the proofs against him now he wouldn't come back again in our life'Never"Mayank kissed her hands and then leaned to kiss her forehead, she smiled hiding her face in his chest "I love you Mayank"she whispered in her same love-filled voice and he smiled kissing her forehead, "I love you too Nupur and I'll with you always we will be together always'you me and our baby"

She pulled back and a smile of contentment spread over their faces, she leaned and pressed her lips over his'it was long passionate kiss full of love'trust and it was not just a kiss but a promise of eternity too that they will be together always'
