And no, I did not get inspired by the news of that kiss to show a bold Khushi in my story, let me remind you, Khushi in my stories has always been bold and never afraid of lip kisses!
On the other hand when I heard that news that Khushi would kiss Arnav, I laughed. Why? After writing sarcastic OS's and upsetting a lot of people, so I had promised a treat, well a bribe, - a cutey, mushy, gushy, romantic love saga update. I had this OS in mind, the kissing game, I knew that would cheer you up. Clearly, the CVs know that making Khushi kiss Arnav is what can cheer their viewers up (and of course they had to do something soon and fast, Madhubala has a steaming kiss scene coming up, right 😆)
This OS is dedicated to all those lovely people, who passed the test of love and proved that they do indeed love me, dammit 😳.. all those who read and commented on Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon!

The Raizada family was sitting around a fire kund and were praying, their eyes closed. Raizadas were holding a havan at their home for the family's well-being. Khushi opened her eyes wide, feeling a kiss on her cheek. She turned around and glared at Arnav; who was sitting next to her, his eyes closed, his hands together in prayer, with a wide smile on his face. She looked around; no one else had seen him kiss her. She had an annoyed look on her face. Suddenly she smiled and she moved closer to him, when suddenly the priest announced that the puja is complete. Her smile disappeared and she moved away quickly before the family members opened their eyes.
"I am leading Khushi, 4-3. Your time is running out." She turned around to see Arnav, with a naughty smirk on his face. Khushi muttered something angrily under her breath, got up on her feet and walked away.
"Yes, Aman. Ok, that sounds like a good plan. Yes.. and when did they say the meeting was? Hmm.. I see.. hmm..ok.. what the.." Someone grabbed his phone from him. He turned around angrily and Khushi quickly pressed her lips against his. Arnav opened his eyes wide in shock, Khushi had a naughty smirk on her face. She started saying something, when they heard, "Hello hi, bye, bye". They turned around to see Manorama climb up the stairs. Arnav and Khushi were sitting on a sofa at the top of the stairs. Manorama smiled at them, as she walked past. As she walked away, Khushi turned to Arnav. "Now I am leading, Mr. Raizada, 5-4."
"How come, we should be tied right, 4-4?" Arnav asked, confused. Khushi giggled and said, "Extra point for lips." Arnav raised his eyebrows, smiling. "Says who?" "Me." Khushi winked and got up. Arnav had a naughty smirk in his face.
"Aaj mausam hai suhana jalebi banane ka hain bahana.. what the .. what the.. whaaa" Khushi was interrupted, as she felt an arm around her waist. She crashed into Arnav's chest, the jalebi batter in the cloth bag flowed out of the cloth and down Arnav's suit.
"Arnavji, your suit." Khushi screamed. Arnav pulled her close, one arm around her shoulders and one arm around her mid-back. He leaned in close. "Arnavji, but.." Before she could finish, he had claimed her lips. Her lips parted as he pressed her body closer and when their tongues touched, she dropped the cloth bag and put her arms around his neck and kissed him back. They pulled apart a minute later, out of breath. Khushi gulped as she looked into his eyes and she blushed. "And now I'm leading, 7-5."
Khushi opened her mouth wide. "You mean 6-5."
Arnav put his hand under her chin and closed her mouth. "1 for the kiss, 1 for the lips and 1", he smirked, "for the tongue."
He winked and she pushed him away, annoyed. "Says who?"
"Me." He smiled and moved closer. She closed her eyes as she felt his warm breath against her neck.
Her eyes flew open when she heard Payal walked into the kitchen, saying, "Khushi, did you .. oh." She stopped seeing Arnav and Khushi standing close to each other. She blushed and turned around.
"No Payal, don't go. I was just leaving". Arnav said as he stepped away from Khushi, with a naughty smirk on his face.
Khushi made an annoyed face. "That's not fair!"
Arnav winked and said softly, "Everything's fair in love.." he chuckled, "and war." He smirked again as he saw Khushi muttering something under her breath. He turned around and walked away.
"Ok, Nani, agreed. I will go get her." Arnav got up from the sofa and walked towards the kitchen, to call Khushi. Suddenly he stopped and smiled, as he saw her walking towards him. His smile disappeared and he raised his eyebrows confused as he saw the naughty twinkle in her eyes. He looked over his shoulder. The whole family was sitting behind them in the living room. Yes, they were facing the windows, but would she dare..
He turned around, just when Khushi put her hand around his neck, pulled him down, stood on her toes and placed a kiss on his lips. She parted her lips, and their tongues played with each other. He pulled away.
She looked at him and giggled, as the clock struck 7pm. "It's 7pm and I won."
Arnav smiled. "Well, I am just a point behind. The score is now 8-7". He moved in closer, the clock was still striking 7pm.
Khushi raised her eyebrows, pushed him away and shook her head. "No, it's 9-7. See that shows I am so much better than you at this.".
Arnav looked annoyed. "What the.. how can it be.. "
"Hmm.. 1 for the kiss, 1 for the lips, 1 for the tongue, and 1," she giggled, "because I dared to kiss you in front of everyone and they are not sitting with their eyes closed."
"Well they are looking away."
Khushi shrugged her shoulders. "But I still.."
"That's unfair, Khushi. That doesn't count..."
"She is right, you know." Arnav and Khushi raised their eyebrows as they heard NK's voice. They turned around to see the family members looking at them giggling. "Yes, Nannav. Khushiji deserves that extra 1 point."
"What the.." Arnav finally found his voice. "You.. you all knew.."
Nani, Mami and Anjali burst into laughter. "We have been noticing you both since morning." Anjali giggled, "It didn't take a genius to figure out what was happening."
Flashback. Khushi adjusted her kurta, looking into the mirror. Her eyes opened wide as she felt arms around her waist. Arnav put his head on her shoulder and closed his eyes.
"I love you, Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada." Khushi smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek.
"Why the sudden love?" She asked, turning around and putting her arms around his waist.
"What do you mean.. I always shower my love on you."
"Really?"
"Yes, in fact you are the one who is always stingy when it comes to romance."
Khushi looked at him, confused. Arnav continued, "Remember last night behind the pillar in the living room, I wanted to kiss you, but you shied away. You just don't love me as much as I love you."
Khushi opened her mouth wide. "It was our wedding anniversary party! There were guests all around us. What if someone had seen us?"
"So what? I love you, Khushi, but you need to be a little bolder." Arnav said, with a naughty smirk.
Khushi looked annoyed, "I am bold. In fact, I am bolder than you are."
Arnav raised his eyebrows and his lips formed a cute pout. Bingo. "Do you want to bet?"
Khushi folded her arms, a determined expression on her face.
"Kiss me more than I will kiss you before 7pm tonight. Kisses in our room and by the poolside don't count." Arnav said, with a naughty smile.
Khushi opened her mouth wide.
Arnav and Khushi's thoughts were interrupted by Nani's voice.
"Plus we heard your little discussion about the score during the puja." Nani added, giggling.
"Akash, so when are we leaving for the dinner and movie?" Payal turned to Akash, her eyebrows raised.
"Bhai, how could you do this to me?" Akash said, shaking his head, disappointed. Arnav raised his eyebrows confused. "I was so confident that you will win, that I gladly accepted Payal's bet that Khushiji will win. I lost to my wife and it's all your fault!"
"Jiji, you placed a bet..?" Khushi opened her mouth wide.
Payal giggled, "I am so proud of you, Khushi."
Arnav and Khushi listened to their family, shocked and then looked at each other. Khushi blushed and punched Arnav's arm. "It's all your fault."
Arnav raised his eyebrows, "The best thing I have ever done.." He said with a naughty smirk. "You might be bolder, but I'm still smarter."
Khushi raised her eyebrows, a naughty twinkle in her eyes, "Hmm.. do you want to bet?"
